Taryn Terrell versus Priyanka Chopra

(Girls Friday vs Hawkeye International Sports Consortium)

Intro:

Taryn Terrell meets Priyanka Chopra on PPV as both girls are desperate
to impress and get 2017 on the run now for a run at the top half of
the bantamweight division.

Taryn herself apart from known as a wrestler of course, is best known
in the FCBA for her JMD run, ending with her being a JMD champion,
that makes up the majority of her 10 wins (10 knockouts) and 7 losses
in her career.

While Priyanka has only been boxing the past 2 years, but has amassed
a record of 4 wins (4 knockouts) and 4 defeats on her own record, the
Indian fighter has fought girls like Alba, Robbie, Lovato to show you
the level she has been fighting at with mixed results.
In the build up to the fight, both girls were given a spot together to
talk on several shows to sell this fight to the masses by their
management teams.

On the last one, Taryn got to speak first, laughing as she starts off
saying "I have to say to Priyanka, your manager is a charmer, I mean
the way he answered our challenge to you, so Hawkeye thank you!"
Yelling the last part to the backstage area, getting a laugh off the
crowd and Chopra herself.

Calming down, she says "OK, so why did I want to fight Priyanka? She
is fit, tough and she is always up for a challenge, for me that is
what makes fighters into title contenders, meaning jokes aside; I have
to beat her to prove I belong outside of JMD"

There's a slight tenseness as they sit next to each other on the
couch, knowing that after this, the next time they'll see each other
is with the gloves on.

Priyanka saying "this fight shows why the FCBA is so interesting to
watch, how many times can you say that you've seen a Bollywood actress
fight a pro wrestler in a boxing match"

Both girls smiling as Priyanka adds "my manager didn't lie, Taryn of
course is super fit from all that training she does, but I trained
hard for my movie about the legend Mary Kom, so I am always in
fighting shape to take down a girl like you"

The tenseness seems to return after that last sentence, both girls
asked to stand and pose nose to nose for the cameras with the crowd
urging the girls maybe to start something.

Both know this isn't the place, even as they nudge each others heads
with their own to show the other that they want this fight badly now.
The host interrupts the stare down as he senses the mood turning, the
girls putting on a fake smile as their breathing becomes quicker,
shaking hands and leaving the stage separately.

Fight night, out comes Taryn Terrell with Lauren Berlingeri and Eva
Carneiro by her side, staring down to the ring, she is hearing herself
up for this fight before she starts marching down to the ring.
She is wearing her gold gear, a sports bra with a small diamond cut
out at the front, trunks, gloves with her blonde hair braided for
battle.

Entering the ring, Taryn heads straight for her corner, warming up
with a hard look on her face, her and Lauren still seem a little
frosty but it doesn't matter how they feel about each other, they know
they have to be professional.

Out comes Priyanka Chopra, she has stablemate Kristen Kreuk in her
corner tonight as her coach, looking confident as she starts walking
down to the ring.

She is wearing a fuschia (purple) sports bra, trunks with matching
gloves and shoes, her long hair is in a ponytail.
Climbing into the ring, Priyanka bounces on her toes as she smiles,
before bowing to each side of the ring then heads to her own corner.
Both fighters stare across the ring at each other with cocky grins on
their faces, finally getting to measure up to each other after all the
talk being the two.

Ushered to the ring centre, the girls go head to head till the referee
separates them, Taryn telling Priyanka "your manager might be cute but
that doesn't mean I'm going to not beat you to the canvas babe"
Priyanka laughing as she replies "that's what I want to hear, I mean I
want no excuses off you after I kick your ass"

A hard staredown occurs just before they are asked to touch gloves,
nodding as they touch them up, the girls jog back to their corners.
The time for talking is well and truly over, now it is time to fight
as the referee waves for the bell to start 10 rounds of bantamweight
action.

Round 1:
Both girls starting as they mean to go on it seems, both very physical
fighters, getting to midrange and squaring up to trade.
Taryn dipping her shots to the ribs of Priyanka to take some air out
of her lungs, but is met with a hard right cross to dissuade her from
sticking with that route.

It's not long till the girls go head to head, slugging it out on the
inside, both girls with a slight grin even as they feel the sting of
each others punches.

Taryn slips out of this tight infighting, stepping back and landing
two hooks around the guard of the Indian to seem like she can take
some control.

Priyanka trying to get in close but Taryn seems to be changing her
mind on staying in close to her opponent, maybe Chopra has rattled the
wrestler in the early exchanges.

Stabbing her jab out, Taryn is up on her toes, showing what she
teaches her fighters as head trainer of her stable as she moves around
the Bollywood star.

Adding a few straight punches to keep Priyanka's hands stuck up to
protect her face, Taryn looks more relaxed till she gets a right
parried and gets caught with a right across her lips.

Priyanka looking to end the round strong, finds Taryn willing to trade
as the crowd seem to be loving this early back and forth between the
girls.

The bell ringing not long after with the girls actually grinning at
each other, pundits wondering how the girls can smile as their bodies
are already showing some marks along with their cheeks.

Bumping a glove with each other as a sign of respect, the girls head
back to their corners with both looking relaxed, though questions on
how long they can keep this up is being asked already.

Round 2:
This time the girls don't go in tight straight away, circling as the
grins start on their faces as they trade single punches, trying to
time their moves to go on the full frontal attack.
Taryn tries to step around Priyanka to use her boxing skills, but this
time the Indian catches her with a left cross and quickly follows with
two right straight punches to push the American onto her heels.

Chopra looking strong as she pins Taryn behind her guard and keeps her
on the back foot, some in the crowd cheering Terrell to get back at
the aggressive fighter, but it's Priyanka who is beating Taryn to the
sides of her body.

Slipping around Priyanka; who misses with a right straight, Taryn
finally does come back at her, landing a double jab to knock the head
of her opponent back.

Taryn starting to press Priyanka backwards, till again her right gets
parried and she is hit with a two punch combo up top.

Both girls falling back into old habits, fight in close and on the
inside, each throwing to the others bodies and trying to slip
uppercuts each to the others chin, guards just about dissipating the
force to stop them being put down on their backs, as they are not
fighting with kid gloves.

Moving back off each other to be able to land cleaner punches, it is
Priyanka landing the better punches, slipping her shots to the body
with not long left in the round.

The bell rings with no show of respect, just both fighters going back
to their corners with out even a glare, now they know what the other
can do, it's down to business.

Round 3:
Taryn looking to control the action, dancing around her opponent, who
is stalking her, the crowd clearing expecting the blonde to charge in,
but she is starting to fight patiently with her jab as her main
weapon.

Priyanka shouting "come on!" And waving Taryn to bring it, Taryn
smirking as she keeps her head and landing a right cross to the lips
of her opponent as a reply.

But she doesn't have it all her own way, getting caught with a
straight to her abs and a left hook catches her on the chin to force
her behind her guard.

Giving Priyanka free range to land a flurry of punches land on her
opponent's arms, forcing her backwards.

But Taryn parries a left and steps in with a straight to snap
Priyanka's head back and suddenly the American turns it up.
Getting in close to rip away to the body of the brunette, forcing
groans from her and drives her towards the ropes but Priyanka clinches
up and the aggressive girls grapple onto the ropes.

The referee having a hard time separating these two, head to head they
are in the clinch, they are almost fighting with every part of their
bodies to be the best.

Separated, Taryn gets herself back onto the front foot with not long
left to go in the round, though Priyanka slips back in to dig two body
shots and one right hook across the jugs of Taryn, who says "bytch"
The bell rings with both girls nose to nose, the referee nudging the
girls back, both look like they want to keep fighting, calming down
enough to return to their corners.

Taryn normally likes to play mind games, she isn't with Priyanka; just
staring at her as Lauren is telling her to move, she's letting herself
get into too many close battles.

While Priyanka looks across the ring at Taryn, as much as she wants to
scowl at her, she is enjoying this; loving getting stuck in with her
opponent's, though both are feeling it.

Round 4:
Taryn off once more with her jabbing attack to start, but Priyanka is
looking on behind that guard like a hawk, waiting for her time to
strike.

Parrying a right from Taryn; Priyanka lands a hard left and right
cross to make the blonde stumble a step back, then adds a straight
punch to the lips.

Taryn is on the back foot with Priyanka showing her power to press her
further back, a right cross lands across the New Orleans girls face
and blood is running from the lips of the blonde.

Priyanka's eyes open wide, seeing that she is starting to really
damage her opponent now, Taryn trying to fight back but is getting
knocked back.

Ending up clinching up, Priyanka roars in annoyance, feeling her
chance at an early knockout has been robbed, but as she feels a nudge
from Taryn to show she is far from done.

The referee does his job to pull the girls apart, both snarling at
each other before they are allowed to fight again.

Priyanka coming on strong again, rifling a straight between the mitts
of Taryn, before adding a right cross on her opponent's cheeks.
Taryn is on retreat till Priyanka in her rashness to keep in her face,
leaves herself open to a big right hook that turns her head sideways.
The wrestler now is on the attack, head dipped down as she works
Priyanka to the body with several short sharp punches to the body.
Priyanka shoves Taryn back with a left into her lips, before the girls
take a small breather, both are sore and finally it seems they are not
going to simply charge into each other.

The bell rings with both fighters just turning to head to their
corners, feeling rough as Taryn grimaces each time her lips are
touched by Eva, whose trying to stop the bleeding, Lauren looking
angry as she shouts at her for not listening.

In the other corner, Priyanka's left cheek looks to be swelling, not
too bad yet but she is focused on Taryn, their eyes still locked
across the ring.

Round 5:
Priyanka is trying to stalk Taryn, who is giving her the slip with
some good footwork in the early going of the round.

But it's not long till the blonde is forced to fight at midrange, both
fighters digging their punches through each others gloves.

This time though as Priyanka tries to step into the space between
them, Taryn catches her with a left cross, quickly followed by a
right.

Priyanka steps back and instead Taryn comes back at her with a barrage
of punches that smack off the arms of the guarding Chopra.
Taryn looks hungry for victory, the defeat to Hayley Atwell in her
last fight is fuelling her on as she lands a right around the guard of
her opponent, before adding a left to the ribs.

Kristen in the corner of Priyanka is yelling for her to retreat and
take a moment to recover, the Indian is still throwing single punches
from her guard.

But she's leaving gaps for Taryn to exploit, digging straight shots
into the nose of her opponent to cause blood to flow from her
nostrils.

Taryn looking confident as she is dominating this round, looking for
an opening now to maybe put Priyanka down as the mindset begins to
change.

Problem is as she finds out is Priyanka isn't on her final legs in
this fight yet, trying to land a right hook that finds air with her
opponent leaning enough backwards out the way and cracking her to her
lips with a hard counter right.

Blood running from her lips again, Taryn is grimacing as Priyanka
catches her to the lips again with a straight and follows with two
more body shots to back the American back.

Taryn trying to do what Priyanka won't and retreat but she finds her
opponent not far behind, both girls catching each other with stiff
single punches up top.

Seconds left in the round, Taryn maybe unwisely must think "screw it"
as she steps forwards and we get a hard fought exchange till the bells
rings.

Both fighters grimace as they stop fighting, feeling hurt from this
absolute war they've put each other through, shown by the fact they
are slower to return to their corners.

Sitting on their stools, they want to look down at the canvas but they
force themselves to stare across at each other, putting a brave face
on as their coaches work with cutmen/cutwomen to patch the bloody
fighters up for the next round.

Round 6:
Taryn tries to start off strong, moving around Priyanka with her jab,
but she hasn't the speed of her punches she had before.

Priyanka able to time her attacks better now, parrying a right cross
from Taryn to counter her with a left to the lips.

Her head snapping back, Taryn tries to force Priyanka back with a jab
but gets parried again and caught with a right cross this time.

The Bollywood star is getting stronger it seems, people in the crowd
are loving her aggression and toughness and she rewards them by
working Taryn onto the ropes with a three punch combo to the body.
Taryn looking upset, shoving Priyanka back and lunging in with a right
of her own to create some space, the Indians left side of her face is
looking swollen.

Both girls lean into each other, ripping away at each others bodies
with real venom in their punches.

Taryn stepping back to try to surprise Priyanka with a right, but she
is the one that gets caught out, a left hook catching her and she
stumbles back several steps.

Priyanka pressing her attack, knocking Taryn onto the ropes, the
blonde covering up as the brunette lands some hard rights and lefts to
the body.

Taryn having to shove herself off the ropes to clinch up, giving
Priyanka the chance to press her on the ropes, scrubbing the back of
her opponent onto the ropes to add to her discomfort.

The referee pries the girls apart, with Taryn moving off the ropes,
but it's clear as time is ticking away in the round that she is
looking in bad shape compared to Priyanka, who is landing the better
punches till the bell rings to end the round.

Both girls go back to their corners, blood on both their faces but
Taryn's lower half of her face looks a mess as blood from her lips is
smeared across it and there's some blood trickling from her nose.
Lauren and Eva trying to patch up their girl as Kristen in the other
corner works on stopping the blood from Priyanka's nose, but she looks
in better shape somehow after the brutal back and forth exchanges.

Round 7:
Out come the girls, meeting to exchange single punches, circling each
other as the fighters look for an opening.

Taryn is getting clipped on her face cleanly with rifle like punches
from Priyanka, her head snapping back as her guard isn't fully up as
it was at the start of the fight.

Priyanka starts powering forwards, driving Taryn back to the ropes
with punch after punch and a right hook seems to shut down the
American as down goes Taryn!

The referee checks over Taryn who is stirring, so she is awake as
Priyanka moves to a neutral corner as the count begins.
Taryn is trying to turn over to get up but she can't find the strength
to shove herself over, the count is up to 8...9...10 and the fight is
over!

Winner: Priyanka Chopra KO Round 7
