ALYSON MICHALKA VS SHAY MITCHELL
Writing: Archer Results: Lookout
Aly: 28 YO, 5’8 (1.73 m), 28-11-0 since 2010, Bazz Fight Club
Shay: 30 YO, 5’7 ½ (1.71 m), 18-18-0 since 2011, Pretty Little Punchers
Before: “Frankly, our last fight back in 2013 was so close, I think Alyson was afraid to take me on again,” Shay Mitchell tells the assembled press and fans at the pre-fight presser. “She got the decision that day, but she was a wreck at the end and I think that should have been enough to give me the win. It didn’t and it has burned me ever since. Over 3 years have gone by and I’m a much better fighter than I was back then. This time there will be no doubt that Shay Mitchell has beaten Aly M.”
Aly M tosses her brunette locks: “Get over yourself Mitchell. We didn’t fight again because you were afraid I’d just beat you again.”
“You are totally wrong about that,” Shay said crossing her arms across her chest.
“No I am not,” Aly said with firmness, “and I am going to enjoy beating you again. I expect it will be easier this time.”
“You are in for one big, unpleasant surprise, Aly and don’t say I didn’t warn you!” Shay fired back.
“That was a joke not a warning,” was Aly’s snappy reply.
“You won’t be laughing when I get through with you!” Shay said coldly.
“When I get through with you, they’ll have to scrape you off the canvas,” Alyson declared with heat.
FCBA Security now moved into the wings ready to separate the increasingly angry Shay and Aly. However Shay stalked off the stage with a final glarer at Alyson, who marched away and the crowd was left buzzing about the stormy relations between the two./ Everyone wanted to see how it would translate into their actual fight.
Come the night of the fight, Shay is in a dark blue bikini with yellow trim, dark blue boots and gloves with yellow lacings. Shay’s hair is in a ponytail. Aly is in a black bikini, silver gloves and boots with black lacings. Her hair is pulled back in a ponytail as well. Frosty, curt words exchanged during ring instructions and hard swipe of the gloves, then Shay and Aly are back in their respective corners. The bell sounds…
R1: Shay just taking the battle right to Aly as she tries to blast her way in close. Aly has her gloves in constant motion trying to block and counter. Shay just keeps on coming and she drives some stinging straight rights and lefts into Aly’s bikini breast cups. Aly knocked back a step then Shay smacks an uppercut right into Aly’s chin and brings a follow-up left hard into her jaw. Aly’s head must be ringing as she backs away and throws up a jab curtain. Shay takes some leather to the mouth and nose which seems to take some air out of her attack, but she regroups and comes back in. Aly trying to jab Shay back, but now she is getting clouted to the belly with some uppies into the undersides of her breasts. Aly retreats and Shay gives chase. Aly quite evasive with her footwork and it gets her safely to the end of the round. However Shay takes the opening stanza easily.
R2: Alyson takes up the Shay Challenge and goes on her own offensive as the second stanza begins. Shay struck hard to the jaw with an Aly right and then takes a left to the other side of her jaw. Alyson adds some digging hooks to the belly and she has Shay in retreat. Aly now showing some good footwork as she tries to cut Shay off and herd her to the ropes. Shay jabbing hard to prevent this, but Aly bobbing and weaving, working her way around Shay and is able to pop her chin several times. Shay looking shaky and covers up her face as Aly feasts on that tempting olive-skinned tummy. Shay enduring the belly busting to reach the end of the round, but she looks pale and a bit trembling as she goes back to her corner.
R3: Shay slow coming off her stool and is in a tight defense as Alyson swarms in one her. Aly quickly realizes Shay is not countering and so romps away trying to find the right spot to finish her prey off. She is landing plenty of punches, but Shay is hunched up and using her gloves to protect vital areas. Looks like the Puncher brunette has decided to take this round off and Aly looks quite frustrated when this dawns on her as well. Aly wins the round in a shutout, but she looks disgusted at Shay, who actually looks fresher than she did at the start of the round!
R4: Alyson fuming at Shay’s “turtle tactics” in R3 apparently decides she will not put up with it again. She charges in and tries to catch Shay hard to the belly, but Shay moving back. Aly lunges after the retreating Shay. BAM! Shay able to dodge the incoming right from Aly and bring her own right crashing into Alyson’s exposed chin. Alyson never sees it coming, she takes a few steps forward AND DOWN GOES ALY!. Alyson nose-dives into the canvas as Shay coolly steps aside and lets her crash down. Shay off to neutral corner as referee moves in. Alyson struggling to raise herself up on her elbows, but the arms give way and she ends up with her cheek on the canvas sleeping peacefully as the count runs by her. The crowd is shocked at the suddenness of the fight’s ending, but it most definitely over!
THE WINNER: SHAY MITCHELL DEFEATS ALYSON MICHALKA KO4!
After: It takes a moment for the stunned crowd to react, but when they do the cheers are deafening. Danielle Campbell, Lucy Hale, Sasha Pieterse, and Janel Parrish all crowd into the ring to congratulate Shay.
“I admit she really had me in trouble in R2, but our trainer Nia Peeples told me to just ride it out in R3 until my head cleared. It worked. Aly got reckless in the 4th and you don’t get reckless around Shay Mitchell and not regret it. I was surprised she couldn’t get up, but that was a good punch and it must really have wrecked her. It really feels great to do that. I hope she is all right.”
Alyson has been revived by the Bazz medical staff and is understandably crestfallen when she discovers she’s lost. Still, she is able to speak briefly to the press before departing the ring under her own power.
“Mitchell was a lot trickier than I was expecting and I got knocked out early because of that. It is galling to admit, but she got the better of me this time. I can assure my fans she won’t be able to do that again. Let her enjoy her winning because she won’t be enjoying what happens the next time we meet. Now, if you excuse me, I think I had best get out of here.”
PLP spokeswoman Autumn Reeser replies for Shay later: “If Aly wants a rematch, Shay is willing, but Aly will have to ask for it first.”
No word as yet from the Bazz Fight Club or Alyson Michalka.
Although the end to this fight came with shocking suddenness, perhaps it shouldn’t have been such surprise. Both fighters possess KO power and all it takes is one well-placed shot and a fight can be over. Shay gets to relish evening up her history with Aly, while Alyson can find some comfort in the thought that it might easily have gone her way and could the next time. Fans intrigued by the idea of a rematch, but both fighters have plenty of potential opponents so it may be a while before a rubber match between the PLP and BFC bantams occurs. It should give fans much to talk about in days and weeks to come.
