4. Petra Nemcova vs Berenice Marlohe

Before: Competitive match-up as Petra's power-punching faces a veteran test with the ex-Bond girl, Berenice Marlohe. Both girls looking stunning for their age: Petra in all-white bikini top, red trunks, whilst Berenice sporting white sports bra, black micro-shorts, showing off toned midriffs and muscled biceps.
However, spotlight thrown on who’s *not* there instead, reporters pestering Petra on reasons for Diana Korkunova’s absence from the night’s proceedings, to which Petra calmly replies: “We decided to loan her out tonight, give our other girls some of the main-event spotlight, don't you agree?” to which the reporters laugh at the self-praise. Petra of course referring to herself being placed in the Main-Event slot tonight.
Berenice on the other hand just happy for opportunity to fight tonight, tells reporters that she’s still going to go all out in rare opportunity to show everyone her goods. “I've seen Petra fight, and I’ll be sure to be watching out for her right hook. I think the both of us kind of fight similarly, but If she thinks I’m just going to bow down to her power, she’s dead wrong.”
Civil, respectful weigh-ins as both girls pose on podium, fists poised at each other’s jaws.
Round 1: Match starts on electric note when the bell rings and SIRENs fans go wild for Petra’s main-event debut. Petra seems electrified as well in the opening minute, crowding out Berenice and putting immense pressure on the Frenchwoman with heavy shots delivered to her guard, dictating her movement and making good on her reputation for being a heavy-hitter. Berenice, however, quickly finds her rhythm and more importantly, Petra’s rhythm, getting accustomed to Petra’s power blows allows her to brace for the straight crosses and then block them, slamming her own fists into the Czech model’s cheek in stunning counter-blow after counter-blow. The audience goes from rabid cheers to gasps of shock as their favourite girl starts getting pushed back repeated blows to the face. Petra tries her best to swing back but Berenice showing off her experience and technicality, avoiding or deflecting punches. Round ends and it’s definitely a mixed bag for the SIRENs’ camp: what they thought of as easy target for Petra in Ms Marlowe doesn’t seem like the case now. Head Trainer Henry Carvill especially looking stressed in his girl’s corner, lip curled and pondering further strategy.
Round 2: Petra needs to learn how to adapt to shifting circumstances, and the second round sees her not doing that at all: going back to big blows aimed at the head, but they mostly slam into Berenice’s forearms. Perhaps partial blame goes to Mr Carvill in booking someone like Berenice to face off against their resident big girl: someone clearly hasn’t done their homework, which would show off how well-rounded the French actress’ fighting really was. Now learning the hard way as Berenice continues to abuse holes in Petra’s defence with precision jabbing. Petra getting tired as well, swinging less often, but hanging back only emboldens Berenice, who starts walking her down, crowding her in with more and more powerful punches that test limits of her own guard. In last minute, Petra eating far too many blows on the jaw and mouth, Berenice taking opportunity to step in and pound hard shots on her belly as well. Petra gawking, gasping, bends over from a right hand buried into the tummy. Berenice helps herself to more uppercuts that shoot up into her middle, a smile steadily forming on her luscious lips. Tough going for Petra Nemcova as her chances seem to be fading quickly.
Round 3: ROAR of encouragement from the crowd does little to help Nemcova as she hangs back again, apparently not knowing what else to do if her big punches aren’t working. Berenice on the other hand knows exactly what to: shoots a couple of jab-jabs to wounded blonde tummy before wading for more powerful hooks that threaten to break Petra’s body in half. Nemcova letting out wounded, animalistic grunts and cries as she attempts to clinch, doing her best to survive and show she’s still in the fight with banging fists off of the Frenchwoman’s sides and ears, trying to disorientate her at best. Berenice more irritated than anything, though, however she becomes more preoccupied now with wrestling with the blonde, trying to position her right hand correctly in order to jam it back up into Czech model’s belly. Petra denying her this mobility, instead capitalises on her foe’s preoccupation, WHIPS her face to the right and left with sharp and short hooks! Berenice letting out dull groans as she realises the trouble she’s now in, as her cheek is repeatedly beaten on, but she’s saved by the bell when the referee steps in to force them both apart. Petra not looking any better, leaning back on the ropes, arms hanging listlessly by each side as her reddened belly throbs in and out.
Round 4: Here we go with the fourth round. Berenice still shaking the pain from her head as she comes on, perhaps more wary of getting too close now after tasting sampling of Petra’s punch-power. She’s not completely out of the clearing, however, when right hand comes out of nowhere and CRACKS into her lips, Petra testing out her power jab from afar. Berenice shocked, then repeatedly beat on on her forearms. Berenice not to be outdone though as she establishes herself with return-jabs of her own - not sure if it’s the best idea to target Petra’s body instead of her head though, but that’s what she does, intending to break Petra’s body down and finally score that knockdown. Petra’s chest and tummy getting worked over, but this enables her to score many more sharp scrubs of gloves to Berenice’s face and head. At the end of second minute, Berenice’s eyes’s wince as a particularly damning right hand lands squarely back on her nose. Petra steps in and is on her in an instant, planting right hands over and over into foe’s face, drawing gurgles as the Frenchwoman’s arms flail in the air from the shock abuse. Berenice flies back to ropes and tries to hide her face behind her guard, but now it’s her turn to be chopped in two with thundering right underhooks from Petra, delivered to her tummy in wicked payback. Petra gritting her teeth and letting her emotions trump logic however - she got the chance to put her away there and then, but decided to punish the body instead, allowing Berenice to survive for another round when the bell rings.
Round 5: Both girls looking tired and spanked, gleam of sweat on both their muscular and wrecked bodies. They slowly make paces towards each other, and then the fists start flying off the hook! Not sure what Berenice is thinking at this point, going toe-to-toe with the Czech Assassin. Perhaps it’s just pure exhaustion and the inability to dance with Petra any longer. The result is Berenice eating more damage than dishing out to her foe. Petra being folded in half with battering right hands to her middle, but specific targeting of her foe’s chest with stiff shots, following by bouncing of her fists on Berenice’s chin completely staggers the Frenchwoman and swivels her head in multiple directions in the span of seconds. Stunned eyes squeezed shut, Petra delivers knockout HOOK to side of Berenice’s face, sending her crashing down to the canvas to her side! Beautiful KNOCKDOWN for Petra Nemcova!
The SIRENs’ fans find their voice once again as they cheer on the blonde’s newfound dominance. Petra slowly walking back to her corner where she takes deep breaths to recover, watching Berenice slowly rising to her knees at the count of 6. Something clearly off though, as Mahowe finds it hard to even get off her knees and back onto both feet, entire body shaking and swaying as though she’s still seeing stars. Count of 9 sees a desperate surge upwards, but Berenice collapses back down to all fours, shaking her head in pain. Referee counts to 10 and it’s over!!
Official Decision: Petra Nemcova defeats Berenice Mahowe via KO5!
After: SIRENs’ fans have right to be SIRENs fans as their girl shows off her power and bragging rights to the arena. Petra acknowledging the crowd with both hands raised and a small smile on her weathered face, though after a while, she does go over to the other corner to check on Berenice.
The brunette is still huffing breaths in and out on her stool, being looked over by medics who are checking on her eyesight and coordination with a tiny flashlight in either eye. Petra extending her opponent a hand, helping her to her feet and the both of them receiving the adoration of the crowd together with some encouraging words and a respectful handshake.
