BBU Merseyside Grudge Bash Danielle Lloyd vs Jenny Frost (Garnet Gunners UK vs Double A Boxing) (3-6, 3 KO vs 4-17, 4 KO)
BEFORE: We're live at the Echo Arena in Liverpool where two local heroines are ready to pursue the classic grudge opportunity. Neither Danielle Lloyd nor Jenny Frost belong to the divisional elite, on the contrary, they are viewed as glamorous punchbags just about everywhere else around England but the Merseyside backyard provides them with that one special night of the year when they are the talk of the town supported by the Main Event billing.
Fellow Merseyside girl and Jenny's former bandmate Liz McClarnon is seated in the front row and BBU TV's Anna Woolhouse says that the Atomic Kitten fanbase has dominated the pre-fight social media activity which mocked Danielle Lloyd's reputation of the biggest bytch in England not named Katie Price. If only the actual boxing results could support Lloyd's trashy reputation! She's not the first one who talks the talk but just can't shake off the bad press shadowing her all over the country!
Danielle Lloyd wears a lacy pink corset and white gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curly ponytail. Jenny Frost wears a black corset and red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1: Both girls charge at each other from the opening bell but Danielle's aerial attack misses the target and allows Jenny to stuck some promising punches into the brunette's rack. She then clips Danielle's jaw and wobbles her back on her heels which suggests the punching resistance won't be the calling card of any of these two hellcats. That's an old problem for Danielle and Jenny knows all about it so she gallops into the exposed rack again as the younger girl somehow tries to find her balance. She fails in her efforts and Frost has a clean shot upstairs which dumps Lloyd onto the ropes where she can only clinch her charging foe but still eats plenty of jabbing heat to the body as the blonde cranks it up in the final minute to underline her most dominant three minutes of BBU boxing in years! Even Anna Woolhouse is impressed!
Round 2: Jenny keeps stalking the brunette with overhand assault and settles down in close range as Danielle's chaotic swings make no impression on the former Atomic Kitten singer. Allegedly Danielle is the supreme puncher of the two but she's incredibly slow in execution here tonight and gets beaten to the punch time and time again and even such a creampuff like Frost gets truly vicious as she pierces the guard repeatedly and secures another heavy connection with her opponent's overzealous rack. Ugh! Lloyd gets pounded back to the ropes and avoids getting thoroughly manhandled when she lands a fortunate hook on the brow ridge which finally slows the blonde's charge deep into the final minute. But that's two from two for the Atomic Kitten babe and the writing's on the wall for Lloyd's comeback ambitions.
Round 3: Both girls trade vicious blows in close range and allthough Danielle matches her for stride for stride, she bounces off the forearms too often to make a difference and tame the blonde's aggressive approach. Frost gets a little vocal in her efforts to sink the brunette into another hectic retreat and gets clipped several times but these shots don't carry the full weight behind them and allow the older lass to maintain the close range drill. Danielle's boobs take another phone booth-like beating and the brunette's all over the place trying to find her balance but she avoids getting trapped on the ropes and slams a meaningful left hook on the blonde's liver to sign off an otherwise mediocre round.
Round 4: Danielle finally beats Jenny for the initial punch as she slams a left/right combo on the lips sending the older girl onto her heels. Jenny refuses to back off and swings a left hook that cuts thin air and allows the brunette to blast her on the mouth one more time before digging a right hander into the exposed solar plexus. Ugh! Frost felt that stinger alright and wobbles forward while trying to clinch but Danielle bumps her off with a nasty headbutt and scythes her across the the lips to assume control of the actions. She drops Jenny to the turnbuckle with a double uppercut combo and tears a patch under the right eye with a follow up hook that leaves the Atomic Kitten moaning in pain come the dying seconds of the round. Another left/right combo drops the blonde's guard alltogether but Lloyd simply runs out of time to punish the rattled singer even further. She backs off at the last second but the referee was ready to drag her away, just in case, regardless.
Round 5: The Lloyd comeback is on! The brunette is visibly excited ahead of the fifth and squares up to the blonde foe which triggers another feisty close range leather exchange. Jenny's build a lead on the scorecards and she's determined to carry on with her best performance in years but a scything cross on the right eye leaves her with a nasty swelling at the minute mark and it simply goes downhill from there as the younger Merseyside lass keeps finding her targets and works around that wounded area until the blonde's guard collapses underneath the onslaught and traps Frost butt-in-ropes in the final minute. Jenny aches her troubles out but just can't shake off the brunette's heat and succumbs to the pressure only for the bell to save her from a looming knockdown at the last moment. This time Danielle ignores the sound and lands one late hook on the lips to make her subdued foe scream out in anguish and the ref was a little late to react; he still gives Lloyd an angry lecture but the proud vixen simply shoves him away and vows to blast Frost to pieces in the next round so any potential scorecard deductions won't affect the outcome of this grudge bash.
Round 6: Jenny's visibly shaken up by that previous round and loses all her footwork advantage as she simply can't fend off the brunette's charge; Danielle hits the jackpot early and hoofs the blonde's guard aside which enables her to work on that swollen right eye so efficiently that Frost wobbles into spasms well inside the opening minute and gets her head rocked back & forth as Lloyd simply piles on the pressure. Ugh! Anna Woolhouse thinks that the glamour model wants to take her rival's head off and well, she's probably right as Jenny's battered into stupor and can't keep her arms high enough to postpone the ineviteable... the flurry of leather breaks her down just past the minute mark as she goes all wobbly butt and the last strike on the lips is a mere icing on the cake... DOWN GOES FROST!!! The proud singer's legs collapse from underneath her and she slides down with a loud yelp and rests on her left side with eyes closed as Danielle performs a soccer kick that misses the blonde's head by inches! "Stay down, ho!", she screams out at Jenny who can't control the spasms of defeat anymore especially that her right eye has pretty much disappeared behind all that swelling. She rolls onto her back and decides to stay down there so the former Miss England can celebrate an extremely important victory!!! KO6 Danielle Lloyd!!!
AFTER: Danielle comes crashing down on the fallen singer and mounts her tummy before trying to smother her out of her senses however suddenly Liz McClarnon makes a shocking appearance in the ring and drags the brunette by the hair to interrupt the humiliation proccess. "That's enough, you useless slaghead! Enough, I say!" Danielle's initially too shocked to battle the ambush but the Echo Arena security crew finally arrives on stage to prevent further ugly scenes and both Lloyd and McClarnon revert into the old fashioned verbal dispute as poor Jenny sobs on the canvas and looks every bit the resident Merseyside jobber she always was, the reputation she hoped to exterminate once and for all tonight.
Anna Woolhouse remains coy whether Danielle can actually make a run in her mid 30s to become a little more than a local Merseyside starlet. Being a mother-of-four is always the tricky part when making such predicitons. Meanwhile Jenny is destined to be saddled with the jobber reputation for the rest of her boxing career and one can almost feel sorry for her. She's not getting any younger and as promising as tonight's opening few rounds were, the Atomic Kittens have always struggled for results and have earned themselves the dubious distinction of the worst girlsband in BBU's history for a reason.
Final result: Danielle Lloyd def. Jenny Frost KO6.
