Intro:
The second ever barn boxing match sees two soaps stars from Emmerdale's past and present do battle, Adele Silva fights Fiona Wade in the Emmerdale farm barn.
This feud had started after Adele had been in the front row of Fiona's fight with Tina O'Brien, she told the press after the fight when pressed on her opinion of the fight "nothing special, I could hammer both of them"
Fiona of course feeling disrespected by the former Emmerdale, telling the press openly "if Adele feels she's good enough, then let her come and fight me"
The challenge had been laid out and after the girls continued to slag each other off over social media, the anger between the two couldn't be held in a simple boxing match, so Adele challenged Fiona to fight in a barn boxing match, which was quickly accepted.
Only one other barn boxing bout has ever happened in the BBU, that was between Adele's friend and former stablemate Roxanne Pallett and Sammi Winward, the loser being thrown into a pig pen full of mud as the ultimate humiliation.
Coming into this fight, Adele is 36 years old, 5'3 1/2 and holds a record of 12 wins, 11 by knockout and 9 defeats, she is also a BBU flyweight champion.
Her opponent Fiona is 38 years old, stands at 5'1 and holds a record of 1 win by knockout and 1 defeat.

Now it's fighting time, the fight held in the Emmerdale Sugden farm's barn, a regulation ring in the centre with chairs surrounding three sides of the ring, a judges table and an open space on one side of the ring.
The special judges for this fight are Samantha Giles (Bernice White on Emmerdale) Isabel Hodgins (Victoria Sugden) and Emma Atkins (Charity Dingle)

First out comes Adele, she has her coach by her side as she enters the barn wearing a black lace bra, a white set of tight horse riding pants and short black riding boots.
She looks around the room to see past and present female actresses around the ring, she knows a lot of the girls from over the years on set herself, though a lot she also doesn't know and can see the battle lines being made in the crowd as half cheer her, the other half boo her.
Before she steps into the ring, she sees Sammi Winward at ringside, pointing and shouting abuse at her other rival, her coach has to shout at her to get into the ring.
Finally calming down enough to do as told, she jogs to her corner to warm up as she sees the door open and her opponent is coming.
Fiona now enters the barn with her coach, she's wearing a black lace bra as well, tight black riding pants and short riding boots.
She is strutting towards the ring, confident after her last win, though she gives Sammi Winward a hard stare and looks over the other side of the ring to see Roxanne Pallett.
Then she climbs into the ring to another mixed reaction, but doesn't care as she jogs to her own corner to warm up, both fighters just want to fight.
Their coaches put their gloves on their fighters, they are brown old style looking gloves but of course are not old.

The girls are waved to the ring centre to go through the instructions, both glaring at each other as they move nose to nose, unblinking as they stare each other down.
Asked to touch gloves, instead we get a "f***ing bytch!" From Adele and "c***!" In reply from Fiona, before they have to be dragged back by their coaches to their corners.
The referee waits till everything is sorted out, the coaches are out the ring and everyone is happy to start, he signals for the bell to begin 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both fighters bolt out of their corners towards each other, it's not a skillful start from either, just throwing wild shots and moving out the way of their opponent's punches.
The crowd of actresses is enjoying the early bedlam between the two, Adele was seen as a bytch on set when she was there, while Fiona isn't exactly loved by everyone.
Finally after much wasted energy, Fiona snaps a double jab into the nose of her opponent, before ducking a wild right from Silva, then connecting with a right cross of her own as she gets back up.
Soon Adele is covering up as Fiona unleashes her punches to anywhere she can hit, she is focused now on winning this as Adele looks confused that she is on the back foot already.
But that changes as she shoves Fiona back with her left into her face and quickly steps in with two right hooks that stuns the cockney lass.
Adele controlling the action now as Fiona is much more defensive, not wanting to get caught so easily again, while the Surrey lass picks her off with the jab, before starts swinging hooks to the body.
Not standing for that Fiona fires back up the centre with three punches that backs Adele off, though she doesn't keep going, instead surprising everyone by holding back, maybe nerves creeping in as Adele steps back to retake stock of what just happened.
The late part of the round sees both fighters calm down and try to pick their punches, maybe surprised at how hard the other can hit has frightened them not to go all out.
Just before the bell though, Adele parries a right and steps in to land a clean straight punch to the top of her rivals head and then a right on her ribs.
The round ends with Adele cockily smirking at Fiona, who scowls back; the crowd enjoying the intensity of both, thinking of themselves being in the ring to fight.

Round 2:
Adele starting off strong as she dances around Fiona, using her slight reach advantage, she is keeping Wade from getting on the attack.
She's picking some holes in Fiona's defence out, hammering her fists through the gaps to knock Fiona's head back.
It looks like Fiona is going to be dominated by the experience of Adele and by the looks of it better skills as Adele dodges a wide right and lands two counter punches to the lips of her opponent.
But Fiona slips under a left cross and lands her own to the side of Adele's body, before coming back up and just missing with a right hook.
As Adele comes back at Fiona, it leads to both women going head to head and hammering away at each other, groans can be heard coming from both fighters as they grit their gumshields and try to power each other back.
Adele starts to do that as she seems to have the power advantage, problem for her is Fiona slips back as she tries to land a vicious looking right and as she's off balance, Fiona steps in to land two straight punches to her chin.
Fiona looking to finish the round strong, lands a right to the body of Silva, but takes a right to her chin that pushes her onto the back foot.
Instead it's Adele that finishes strongly by pressing Fiona back towards the ropes, the bell ending the round possibly stopping her finishing the job off.
Fiona looking annoyed at herself for letting herself get caught like that, while Adele struts back to her corner, confidence never an issue for her, even if it's been years since she won.

Round 3:
Adele is head hunting early on in the round, throwing strikes at her opponent's head and mostly catching air as Fiona is bobbing her head out the way.
Quickly getting sick of this, Silva changes her punches to the body of Fiona, getting more success as she rips away at her sides.
Again though she's making a mistake as Fiona steps forwards and digs away at her face with several shots and Adele is forced to retreat and reset.
Both circle the other till they both have the same idea and step forwards, back in tight they go, just throwing hard shots with no real defence.
Adele again rocks Fiona backwards as she definitely has the harder punches of these two and Fiona is forced to cover up.
A right seems to open up the guard of Fiona but a follow up left misses as Wade has the speed advantage, though she can't seem to fine an opening as Adele boxes her back around the ring.
Late in the round, Adele lands two cross punches around the guard of Fiona, knocking her towards the ropes, driving forwards to try and keep Wade on them.
Instead she finds Fiona won't be pinned so easily, the smaller girl fighting back, nearly headbutting Silva in her chin as she comes on the attack, landing several punches to the body of her opponent, who gamely tries to stand her ground.
But as the bell rings, we see the first crack in Adele's confidence, she clearly thought she'd have had Fiona whimpering on the ropes by now.
Instead as she looks in Fiona's eyes, she can see the bytch as she sees her is far from being a mess.

Round 4:
Adele looking to come out quickly, but Fiona isn't far behind her as they start off pounding away at each other early as this is becoming a war.
Fiona steps back with blood running from a busted bottom lip, Adele strikes at it to make her retreat and cover up, Silva looking to have her opening keeps the pressure on.
But Fiona keeps remaining elusive, slipping under a punch and digging at the abs of her opponent, while Adele grunts.
A mistake from a cocky Adele leads to her being stunned, a left misses and Fiona straightens up her rival with an uppercut.
Adele stumbles back and is met with an onslaught by Fiona, the blonde covers up as she tries to recover, Fiona maybe thinking evilly starts hooking her punches into the sides of Silva's jugs.
Yelping with each shot, Adele clinches up with Fiona to stop the assault, the referee needed to pull the girls apart as they snarl into each others ears.
Separated, Fiona is the quickest off the trigger as she comes back forwards with two cross punches to the cheeks of Adele.
Who tries to fight back, planting her feet and trying to land a haymaker as questions on her punch resistance has to be asked.
The seconds tick away and Fiona is being held out at arms length by the desperate Adele, whose throwing long range punches to ward her back.
The bell rings with Fiona worried that she may have missed her chance, Adele though is trying to shake some cobwebs from her head as she heads to her corner.

Round 5:
Fiona comes out quickly this time, with Adele boxing off her back foot, she's been spooked and now it's up to Wade to take advantage of this situation.
Her bloody lip is caught a few times as she tries to hurt Adele, but is getting lax and it's giving Silva a small chance to get back onto the front foot.
That is quickly dashed as Fiona catches her with a right to the chin, quickly followed by a left and right hook.
Adele shakes her head again as this time she tries to say she wasn't hurt, but as Fiona catches her again across her cheek with right cross that makes her stumble back.
Fiona landing three clean shots to her rivals face, opening a cut on her left cheek and putting Adele down to her side!
Stirring on her side, some in the crowd are shocked to see Adele isn't knocked out, in some ways that's worse as she feels the pain she's in clearly and as the referee is counting, soon it reaches 10 and Adele has been counted out!

Winner: Fiona Wade KO Round 5

After:
Fiona almost jumping for joy, she's gotten her second win and it had to be over a rival of hers like Adele to make things even sweeter.
Waving to some of her friends in the front row of the crowd, she also sees girls like Charley Webb scowling at her, maybe she's another one Fiona could fight in the barn.
Though as she gets cleaned up and her gloves taken off after returning to her corner, she has bigger plans at the moment to enact.
Watching Adele getting cleaned up and helped up to her stool, Fiona charges over and tugs the gloves off Adele's hands herself, not to be helpful but she tauntingly says "I don't want to ruin these cute gloves when I dunk you in that mud"
Adele scowling up at her, but hasn't much fight in her by the looks of things, so as Fiona drags her out the ring by her hair and walks her out the barn to the pig pen, all the other Emmerdale stars rush to see the humiliation.
Pinning Adele to the fence of the pen, Fiona says "I have been dreaming of this moment these past few weeks" then leaning in to whisper "I also heard your promise of what you'd do if you'd have won"
Quickly she drags Adele to the gate and opens it up, people look confused as you are supposed to dump your opponent over the gate like Roxanne Pallett did to Sammi Winward in their fight.
Instead Fiona steps into the pen with Adele and locks the gate behind them, Adele tries to fight back, grabbing Fiona's hair as it quickly flies back into her head how she said she'd pin Fiona in the mud if she won.
A shot to her gut takes the air out of her lungs and before she knows it, she's tripped into the mud and Fiona mounts her to pin her down.
Hearing Adele sob her heart out makes Fiona smile, just before she cruelly picks some mud up and rubs it into Adele's face, telling her "that'll make you younger you skank" then raising her arms to the cameras.
Soon she steps off Adele and out of the pen, her friends on set getting a towel for her to clear some mud from her body, smiling as they discuss the fight.
Others watch Adele just lay in the mud, beaten and wishing the ground would swallow her up about now as she losses again and now can only be viewed as a jobber from being a champion.
