Before: “Hale’s pretty good,” says Champ Natalie Portman, “and did hold the title—once—while I have held it 10 times now. Plus I put her in place two years ago with one of my favorite knockouts. I called her a ‘little punk” back then. She’s not any taller, but I’ll give her credit for being an ‘okay’ fighter now. Not in my class, but better than she was. You don’t have to thank me Lucy, I just state the facts and let my opponents deal with them.”

Lucy Hale shoots a look of disgust at Natalie before taking her turn at the podium: “As you all heard, ‘Natalie Portman speaks with forked tongue’. Yes, I am better than I was just 2 years ago, Natalie, but I am even better than you seem to think, because I will be the one who takes that belt away. You want a fact, Natalie? You’re the past and I’m the future. Get used to it!”

Hearing Lucy snarl these words at her has Natalie Portman jaw dropping, but the champion is quick to respond: “Why, Lucy, I had no idea you had so much venom in your heart. I hope you won’t choke on it after I beat you again—because I will.”

“You will try, but you won’t do it,” Lucy said with an icy determination, “I may be small, but I am big enough to beat you—and I will!”

With that Lucy marches up to Natalie and goes chest to chest with the veteran. Natalie just puts her hands on her hips and doesn’t budge. Lucy has her hands on her hips and she is not budging either. Then suddenly Lucy leans forwards and LICKS NATALIE’S NOSE. Natalie steps back in surprise and just as quickly, Lucy turns on her heel and marches away. Natalie stomps her foot in frustration, turns and glares the assembled press (who have been thoroughly enjoying the on-going spectacle).

“The little poodle is going back that doghouse the PLP calls a gym with her tail between her legs and wishing she had never talked like that to me!"

With that parting shot, Natalie departs the stage, no doubt wishing she had a cloud of dramatic smoke to vanish into. As it she and Lucy have left the crowd buzzing with excitement that a grudge match always bring, but this time there is a title on the line and that really has the anticipation level soaring.

As challenger, Lucy enters the ring first. She is in fiery red bikini with matching gloves and boots. Bobbed hair hangs loose as Lucy stands defiantly in the ring awaiting the champions arrival. Natalie Portman does appear walking regally down to the ring in a black and silver robe with the Flyweight Title belt over her shoulder. She gives queenly waves to her supporters. Before entering the ring she hands of the title belt and then the robe to an attendant. She then climbs into the ring in a black bandeau bikini trimmed in silver. She has silver gloves and boots with black laces. Her dark hair in an elaborate battle braid down her back. She joins Lucy and the referee at the center of the ring.

“Let’s get started,” Natalie tells the official in a commanding tone.

“Yes, lets,” Lucy says with determination.

The official seems a bit nervous after but the fighters listen calmly to the ring instructions (and it doesn’t hurt when their mouthpieces are put in so there is no more talk) and swipe gloves with minimum fuss. Then they are back in their corners. Steely looks are being exchanged as in the few moments before the bell. The crowd draws its collective breath. It rings.

R1: It was a cool and calculating Natalie Portman who let Lucy Hale come moving in on her quickly and then greeted the challenger with rapid fire straight punching to the face, Lucy was knocked back a step or two and Natalie then went to hooks into Lucy’s midsection to keep her backing up. Lucy struggled to stay out of range and punch back, but it took her time to slow up the champ’s attack. Lucy was now using her jab to good effect striking back at Natalie’s head and then adding some steady shots to the body for variety. Natalie was frowning with concentration as she tried to adjust to Lucy’s defenses and late in the round she was able to rattle the challenger with some quick clips to the chin. Lucy dropped back, recovered and came back in. Natalie had her jab up and the two dueled to the bell. Natalie pulled out a hard-fought close win.

R2: Lucy comes back on the attack, but this time she shows a nice feint to the left that allows her to bring a lightning right crashing into Natalie’s temple. Natalie shudders and stumbles back. Lucy moving in with a controlled attack on Natalie’s stomach and ribs. Steady attack while Natalie is in retreat brings down the champ’s guard and in stabs the punches that smack Natalie in both eyes and on her nose. Natalie moving away more quickly, but still keeping her head. Jabbing from the champ late finally slows Lucy up as she is now sporting a hairline cut that is trickling crimson down her forehead. Lucy slowed, but she keeps up the pressure to the bell and takes the second round of the bout by a wide margin.

R3: Natalie on the offensive from the start of this round. She goes after Lucy, bobbing and weaving while popping in shots to cut up the challenger’s face. Lucy stung by the face shots, but she works her way around Natalie, showing some evasive upper body movement to deflect Natalie’s fire. Lucy then working her way back in, working the champ’s belly and ribs again and flicking some nasty hooks up into those black satiny bra cups. Natalie not appreciating this rough treatment of her boobs gives Lucy’s rack a thorough pounding. Lucy wincing, but she hangs in her and when Natalie continues her jugg attack, Lucy puts an overhand one-two into Natalie’s eyebrows. Natalie jerks her head back and Lucy drives a shot into the champ’s mouth splitting her lower lip. Natalie jabs back furiously and Lucy ducks out of the way, manages a shot to the side of the head that has Natalie shaky, though time runs out before Lucy can follow up. Lucy wins a close round and has Natalie sporting fresh swellings above both eyes as well as that bleeding lower lip.

R4: Natalie under pressure, but strikes back quickly to shake up Lucy. Natalie swift across the round, slipping to the side and then smashing Lucy’s head flat against her shoulder with a powerful right. Lucy staggering from the blow and Natalie quick to cut her off. Then the champ unleashes an all-out leather storm of punching that has Lucy’s defenses sagging as she tries to protect herself. Natalie now moves to steer Lucy onto the ropes, but Lucy senses danger and slips passed the champ to the relative safety of midring. Natalie quickly in pursuit and closes in again. Lucy’s got a decent jab going, but Natalie able to keep her shuddering with hooks to the belly. Lucy looking woozy at the bell. Natalie shows her first smile of the bout as Lucy slowly totters back to the PLP corner.

R5: Natalie trying to keep Lucy off balance with quick moves and lightning punches to head and body. Lucy struggling to keep up in the early going, but gradually her jab gets better and Natalie is punished to the body when she tries to dart in. Natalie and Lucy then circle each other looking for the right moment to strike. Natalie lunges forward aiming to bring a right cracking off Lucy’s head, but Lucy has seen the move and ducks so that the punch whistles passed her ear. In the same moment, Lucy blasts back with her own right into the point of Natalie’s exposed chin. NATALIE GOES DOWN. Perfect chin shot knocks Natalie onto her backside as her legs go shooting out in front of her. Natalie looking around in groggy surprise as she finds herself on the canvas and the referee counting! Lucy watching hopefully from the neutral corner, but Natalie able to shake it off and regain her feet. No doubt that the champ’s been rocked as she goes cover-up defense and settles for getting to the bell as Lucy wins the round wide thanks to the knockdown.

R6: Natalie still seems shaken or at least cautious as the round opens. Lucy clearly feeling she has seized control of the fight as she moves around Natalie firing away. Natalie not an easy target, but Lucy is getting in some good shots to the body. Natalie putting her jab to steady use as she bangs Lucy to the forehead and stings her to the chest. Lucy not liking the jugg work, ups her punching of Natalie’s breastline. Natalie ignoring the mammary shots as she circles with the aggressive challenger. Suddenly Natalie brings a hard left hook to Lucy’s jaw and Lucy freezes momentarily—just long enough for champ to bring a right cross smashing into Lucy’s opposite jaw. LUCY HALE SPINS AWAY AND FALLS ON HER FACE! Crowd did not see that coming and, apparently neither did Lucy, who pushes herself up with head-full-of-spinning-stars look on her face. Now it is Natalie Portman watching hopefully from neutral corner as referee stands counting over her rival as she struggles to rise. Lucy makes an heroic effort and regains her feet, but she looks gray-faced. Still, Lucy firmly declares: “She knocked me down, but I’m back up and I can go on!” Referee lets her face her way. Lucy uses her jab to try to keep Natalie back as the action resumes. Natalie can’t get at Lucy’s head but belly hooking has Lucy doubled up and gurgling at the bell. Lucy clearly forcing herself to stand erect and walk back to her corner, but the unhealthy gray pallor and the quiver in her legs tell she’s been hurt. Natalie smiling again as she heads for her corner knowing that the knockdown allowed her to steal a round from Lucy.

R7: Lucy seems sluggish as she comes out for the bell. Desperate repair work by the Puncher corner crew has Lucy cleaned up, but she is not moving well or punching back quickly. Natalie happy to take advantage of Lucy’s weakness by keeping her confused with quick reverses and feints. Lucy getting worked with steady punches off the head and nasty hooks to the breadbasket. Lucy just can’t seem to get Natalie off her and Natalie grows steadily more aggressive in putting on the pressure as the round grinds on. Champ not seeming to go for the knockdown punch, but rather she prefers to just wear Lucy down and she does a very good job of this by the bell. Natalie wins this wide and Lucy can’t hide the totter in her steps as she trudges back to her corner. Natalie smiling broadly now. Hearts of Puncher fans sink.

R8: Lucy fights back! Lucy makes a great effort in coming off her stool and trying to erase the memory of the past two rounds with a strong attack. Natalie looks a bit surprised as she gets smacked to the jaw and gets her lower split open again. However champ steadies herself and goes back hard with countering hooks to Lucy’s belly. Lucy stuffed hard to the gut and then Natalie puts a nasty shot into Lucy’s solar plexus! DOWN GOES LUCY. Lucy collapses onto her knees, arms wrapped around her body, coughing and gasping as the referee starts counting. Looks bad for the Puncher—but, no! Lucy is back on her feet and insisting (though not quite so firmly as before) that the fight go on. Referee waves Natalie back in. Natalie wastes no time in backing Lucy up to the ropes with a continuous attack on the challenger’s trembling body. Lucy driven to the ropes, but tries to escape by sliding along them. That’s when Natalie shifts fire to a vicious series of rights and lefts to the jaw as Lucy’s high guard collapses!. Lucy’s head being knocked around like a bobble-head as ringsiders scream that this be stopped! REF (FINALLY!) JUMPS IN! Lucy sagging into the official’s arms as Natalie raises an arm and gives a big victory smile to her fans.

THE WINNER AND STILL FLYWEIGHT CHAMPION: NATALIE PORTMAN WHO DEFEATS LUCY HALE TKO8.

After: Natalie Portman’s gloves are removed and she strolls over to the Puncher corner to where a wrecked Lucy Hale is slumped on her stool. Lucy opens a bleary eye and looks up at the champion.

“Now, dear Lucy—who is the superior fighter here? I just want to hear you say it!” Natalie purrs.

Lucy sighs: “You are, Natalie. Tonight you were the superior fighter.”
“Tonight and every night,” Natalie retorts, “I ought to punish you for not admitting that.”
“You might as well, because I’ll never admit that!” Lucy says with defiance.
“Glad you are still so feisty, because I really wanted to do this—“ Natalie says and yanks Lucy off her stool, then shoves her over the middle rope so that she is hanging there, buns high!

“Wait a minute—you can’t—OWWWW!!!” Lucy’s protest is interrupted as the first of series of impressive spanks to her tight red bikini bottoms start to slam home. Lucy puts a loud protest, but Natalie uses her left hand to keep the defeated Puncher hanging over the ropes while spanking away with her right. Lucy’s energy drains away and she soon just hanging there groaning.

“Well, I presume that makes my point,” Natalie says stepping back and leaves Lucy hanging there.

“Stay away from her!” Ashley Benson cries, as she and Sasha Pieterse climb into the ring to rescue Lucy.

“Certainly,” Natalie says and withdraws to her own corner to where Michelle Williams and Kristin Kreuk are watching.

“Nice twist,” Mish says to Natalie, “I was expecting a walk of shame.”

“Did that to her last time,” Natalie says, “I liked to vary my post-fights.”

“That was great,” Kristin added, “I can’t wait for the video.”

Natalie smiled: “What I want now is a shower and a night on the town. Either of you up for it?”

“Always,” Mish tells her.

“I’m with you,” Kristin assures her.

Meanwhile Lucy is being helped from the ring and can be heard muttering: “Portman must pay!”

Very good title battle with both fighters scoring knockdowns, but the veteran Natalie seemed to recover from her trip to the canvas quicker than Lucy. Natalie able to wear Lucy down over the next two rounds until the fight was halted. Great win for the Natalie who shows she can defeat younger, good quality contenders so she may be holding onto that belt for some time to come if she can keep it up. Hard loss for Lucy Hale, who just couldn’t finish the champ after the knockdown, but Lucy’s come up a hard road and observers believe she’ll be back in contention before the year is up.
