Alesha Dixon vs Jessica Schwarz

BEFORE: There are several rumours that indicate tonight's bout could be the last edition of BBU's marquee rivalry between Alesha Dixon and Jessica Schwarz. Both long-time rivals have met this month already but apparently can't stay off each for too long even though Jessica's days as active fighter appear to be numbered. The three-time champion was inducted to the BBU Hall Of Fame and doesn't enter the ring as often as she used to before.

Meanwhile Alesha has returned to the UK after a lenghty and unsuccessful American foray but many of her peers and pundits alike don't regard her as a stout elite member anymore and one has to wonder how much is left in the Beevers veteran's tank these days?

Alesha Dixon wears a red bikini set and white gloves. Long dark brown hair straight. Jessica Schwarz wears a white bikini top, golden hotpants and red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a thick bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Questions are raised about Alesha's mental attitude ahead of this one but she seems to have recovered well from the beating she took four weeks ago and sends plenty of hooking juice to keep the German on her toes early on. However most of these punches bounce off the high guard and allow Jessica to seek a counter-striking display thereafter. Both women struggle for precision in a hectic opener and it's almost like they want to win this one too much; accidental clash of heads just past the two minute mark calms things down but Jessica gets more aggressive from there on - yet she keeps misfiring badly over the top and Dixon lands the biggest punch of the round when she smacks the older brunette across the mouth right at the bell.

Round 2:
More frantic action in the second as Alesha keeps smacking the German foe upstairs and the high guard begins to leak punches during the opening minute. Jessica gets wobbled on her heels and has to seek respite in defensive circles but she struggles to find her balance and Dixon cleans out her tummy before clipping the rack in a welcomed change of targets. However she's really keen to disfigure the German actress down the stretch and becomes too predictable in her strikes which allows Schwarz to clinch her and drag into a lenghty stalemate on the ropes. The ref separates them and Alesha cracks a nasty hook on the nasal ridge setting up another hook on the fly that tags the German's temple and wobbles her against the turnbuckle. Another jabbing rally splits the gloves and knocks Jessica's head back as only the bell halts the singer's furious assault.

Round 3:
This is a major turnaround from their last meeting as Alesha shows no signs of mental weakness - perhaps she believes the rumours about Schwarz hanging up her mitts after this one and drives forward with more head hunting assault. Jessica's forced to duck away from most of these punches and she lacks the speed to counter-punch herself into contention. She spends majority of the round backing away from the close range exchange and only lands the meaningful strikes when Alesha appears to slow down in the final minute following an unsuccessful pursuit. A lenghty clinch brings the round to a close and Denise van Outen can't decide whether any of these two hellcats deserved to win it.

Round 4:
Alesha comes flying in with another jabbing assault but gets blitzed for a nasty overhand as Schwarz ducks underneath the initial punch and camps in the singer's cleavage. Ugh! Alesha's not used to classic JMD muggin' and wobbles on her heels while the Hall Of Famer slams a left cross on the nose followed by another vicious one on the jaw... and Dixon sails off on her heels as she gets knocked back and drops her arms... Schwarz pounces on the exposed target and whips a left/right combo on the nose followed by another belting hook on the liver area... AND THAT'S TOO MUCH FOR DIXON who goes down on her backside!!! That last punch seems to be the moneymaker as the singer yelps out in pain and hugs the aching area but bravely gets up at seven.. still, she's glued to her spot when the German resumes the pounding and splits her mitts before rocking her head back & forth... another left hook finds the nasal ridge but Dixon really keeps her arms too low here and gets pummelled into the corner where Schwarz lets it loose and buries the fellow brunette under a barrage of leather....Alesha whimpers under the onslaught and soaks up so much juice her lips begin to bleed and a clubbing left hook on the ear SENDS HER FACE DOWN at Jessica's feet with several seconds still left on the clock... That's two knockdowns in this round; add them to the pounding from three weeks back and it's all over for the proud singer who is released from her misery with a dubious punchbag status if she keeps going down at this rate... KO4 Jessica Schwarz!!!

AFTER: "I hope you'll ever get up again!", Jessica seems relieved that she got through this one and admits we might never see her in the ring again. "I don't even enjoy busting this slut up anymore... well, that's not exactly true... gimme five minutes and I'd whup her ass raw!!! But when I retire, I'd like to be in the main event and all that... I was asked to step aside for Cheryl Cole and her title challenge but maybe I should go back to Germany and see if they accept my demands? It's still up in the air.... five, six months and it's all over... I just don't know!""
