BEFORE:

"I'm better than she is," says Taylor with a nod. "If I had beaten Moretz in the 'New Blood' tournament, I'd have beaten her in the finals. Well, tonight, I get my shot at her, and I won't waste it."

"I think Taylor," says Ariel with a smile, "Has me confused with someone she can BEAT."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Hang Loose' by Alabama Shakes, a favorite of the lady coming to the ring right now, the lovely Taylor Spreitler of CBS's 'Kevin Can Wait'!"

McCarthy: "Who has all of ONE FCBA win and it was against that old has-been Melissa Joan Hart!"

Cassie: "Who is FOUR YEARS younger than YOU!"

McCarthy: "She is NOT! And, even if she is, I'm hotter now and I was hotter even back when she was hot and she never really WAS hot!"

Tess: "And, if anyone actually understood what Mac just said, please call 1-800-ASYLUM0 and explain it to the rest of us..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Walmart!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, but do NOT call that number, because the LAST thing we need on this broadcast is to start taking CALLS. Spreitler into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing a lovely lilac number and is clearly in great shape for this one. And, that's 'I Knew You Were Trouble', and here comes the singer of THIS version of the song, the first member of 'Front Street 2.0' to climb into the ring, Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter, now sporting some red hair!"

Cassie: "And, obviously, the front office at Front Street thinks a lot of Winter, as it decided to retain her when it shook up the roster."

O'Dell: "Ariel into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal that white number we've seen before and those dangerous curves we talked about. Ladies about ready to go, so it's time for some picks. Tess likes Ariel. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Oh, she's a typical Dancing Hooker, but Spreitler's a typical Dancing Hooker opponent. Winter."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. No mystery about what Winter wants to do here. Ariel thinking close and bang and Spreitler clearly ready for that, as she's using a fade-step and circle early, looking to stay off square. Winter looking to match footwork, but Taylor getting the jab on and scoring points early."

McCarthy: "This is good stuff from the Spreitler kid. I expected her to come out and bang with Winter, but she's showing some J-Mac-like intelligence instead!"

Tess: "Truck, check and see if you can't find out if, in the history of mankind, that's the first time 'J-Mac' and 'intelligence' have ever been used in the same sentence..."

McCarthy" "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys and warn your livers, because it might be a long night. Winter getting the lay of the land a little better here now, she's getting more leather on target as we head into the second half of the round. Spreitler still doing well with the jab, though, and now getting some right hands on target off it."

Cassie: "Key here is, Taylor doesn't want a lot of space. She's not trying to dance or stick and move. It's a very subtle use of footwork and it's an effective one."

O'Dell: "Final seconds ticking away in the first round. Winter lands a GOOD combination. Best punches of the fight right there. Taylor covers up, gives some ground, but gets right back to work with the left hand and the fade-step. Five seconds to go in the round, and there's the bell. Close first. Spreitler."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins the way the first ended. Taylor's got a fight plan in place and she's working it. That little drop step and circle, to her right, away from Ariel's power, has been successful so far. For her part, Winter, with those new auburn locks, still wants to close and she's working hard to solve the geometric equation here."

Cassie: "These are the kinds of things young fighters need to work on, dealing with different tactics opponents will use to try to take away what you do best."

O'Dell: "And, while Winter's doing that, Spreitler's doing some more scoring with that jab. She's dropping in those right hands here and there as well, getting points on the board. Winter, meanwhile, getting some leather home when she's able to square, mostly to the body, which is her wont..."

McCarthy: "Her what?"

Tess: "Her wont."

McCarthy: "Won't what? Neither of you are making any sense!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Down the stretch in the second, and Spreitler still having slightly the better of things, as she's getting the spacing she wants and scoring from the spots she wants to be in. Ten seconds to go. Ariel stepping to and landing another solid combination and there's the bell. Again, close to Spreitler."

Tess: "And, Taylor's now up 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Pattern set in the third. Winter trying to close and bang, Spreitler staying off square with the fade-step and circle..."

Cassie: "And, I want to point out how important that fade step is, again, for distance reasons. Boxing is all about angles and distance and one changes with the other. What Taylor's doing here is creating the angles and the spacing she wants with that fade-step and she's making things harder on Ariel with it."

O'Dell: "Winter resolute. Not getting frustrated or sloppy. She's continuing to work the feet, look for solutions to the geometry, and, when she can square, she gets off and in combination, too. Good right hand in that mix that, again, made Spreitler cover up briefly, but the blonde right back to moving and jabbing."

Tess: "One thing I like about Winter. Some girls who like to bang don't put punches together as much as they should in close, but Ariel not a one-punch girl in those situations."

O'Dell: "Hasn't been in the fights we've seen, that's for sure. Good straight right hand from Spreitler there and WINTER FOLLOWS WITH A HARD RIGHT HAND! That backed Taylor up and got her attention for sure. Five seconds to go in the third. Winter stepping to and landing a good left hook and there's the bell. Another close one. Ariel."

McCarthy: "And, Spreitler still leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth underway and Spreitler sticking with that fade-step. Always working to her right, away from Winter's power. Ariel stepping in, landing a good combination, making Taylor cover up and then HURTING HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Winter staggers the blonde with a booming right!"

Cassie: "Spreitler did well to stay on her feet. That was one heck of a punch!"

O'Dell: "And now Ariel going all in. She's getting square now and battering Taylor backward with barrage after barrage of leather. Spreitler keeping the guard high, trying to tie up, but Ariel shoving her off and ROCKING HER AGAIN WITH A SHORT LEFT! Spreitler in deep trouble, Mac..."

McCarthy: "But, there are only thirty seconds left. Kid just needs to hang on..."

O'Dell: "For dear life, and that's what she's trying to do. Winter just letting both hands go, has the blonde on the ropes both literally and figuratively. Ten seconds to go. Good right hand from Ariel shook Taylor. Referee looking in closely, but there's the bell, and none too soon. Shutout, Winter."

Tess: "And, we're even at 38 on the cards...but the fight looks anything but even right now."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Winter looking to finish now. She's got Spreitler in trouble and she knows it. Ariel all up in the blonde's grill, working body, then head, then back to the body. Spreitler working to keep that guard high, but Winter just PUNISHING her to the ribs and midsection, making her pay in a big way..."

Cassie: "Those shots, even if they don't bring the guard down, they'll have an effect. Taylor can't keep taking those all night."

O'Dell: "Question is, can she take them long enough to shake the cobwebs. AND THERE'S A NASTY HOOK TO THE BELLY! Spreitler doubled up and an UPPERCUT TO THE CHIN AND DOWN GOES TAYLOR! A blistering uppercut from Winter and Spreitler splashed to her back!"

Tess: "Not going to be easy to get up from that..."

McCarthy: "What would YOU know, Walmart?"

O'Dell: "Ariel to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Spreitler eyes open, staring up at the referee. Five. Six. Taylor with a glove clutching that belly, not moving, just watching. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's over! That quickly, it's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is Ariel 'Dangerous Curves' Winter!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Ariel Winter, and, Ariel, she gave you some problems early, but, it looks like you eventually solved her."

Ariel (nodding): "Yeah, she was trying to avoid trading with me, and, that's actually a good idea on her part. But, the thing is, she wasn't going to be able to do that all night. Sooner or later, I was going to get her, and I did."

Tess: "I don't want to come off as being cruel here, but, you've suddenly got only half as much competition within the Front Street flyweight division. How do you feel about that?"

Ariel: "I'm not worried about that now, and I wasn't worried about it then. I do my thing. And, as long as I do it as well as I know how to do it, it's not going to matter how many other flyweights are in the stable."
