TESS VALMORE

This stable war was an entertaining card. It was a nice piece of action that livened up the often dead period between PPVs

LOVATO/M. FOX Lovato got careless in the fifth and it cost her. Fox’s win couldn’t have come at a better time as she is facing Portman for the title in the upcoming PPV. I’m sure Portman was watching the bout carefully. Did she spot anything she can use?

VANCAMP/RATAJKOWSKI Ratajkowski is much more impressive stripping down to her undies for the Daily Mail than she is in the ring. She is on a seven fight winning streak. You would think that is impressive until you look at the competition. When this fight was scheduled. VanCamp had not won the title. Didn’t really matter. Ratajkowski was way over her hear with the result as expected

PALMER/LYNCH Lynch was again looked good. I thought she might step up in competition after beating Ren. She didn’t. She needs to step up to make a big move in the rankings.

R. JONES/LOPILATO Lopilato won this bout, but the is being way too busy. She fought in the May PPV, she fought this bout and she fights in the June PPV. Three fights in a little over a month. Charlize Theron, she is not. Doesn’t spell well for her June PPV performance.

AGDAL/PEREGRYM I am becoming concerned about Peregrym. She is a fine fighter, but she is now 35 and she has lost five of her last seven. She was a natural bantam and dominated the division before she moved up to lightweight. I think she needs to move back down to bantam again. She is now having trouble handling the bigger girls. She should do better at bantam

V. HUDGENS/L. COLLINS Hudgens got revenge for a loss to Collins earlier this year. That together with wins over Lowndes and Scerbo should now move up towards another title bout.

ROHRBACH/UPTON Rohrbach is defintely promising, but she was not going to beat Upton.   To do so would be an upset. You see that is why, if she won, It would be called an upset. Because she wasn’t supposed to.  Is that clear? This is another example of poor scheduling. Upton fought in the May PPV, this bout and she fights in the June PPV.  Charlize Theron,  she is not. Will it cost her against Righetti?  If it does, at least she will have an excuse.
