CELEBRITY BOXING AFTER DARK

The rematch that she’s been striving for has finally arrived: Iggy Azalea puts the gloves on once again against Gigi Hadid. Suffering from a KO8 loss in December against her, does she fair better after racking herself some more wins and getting some training? She seems to think so!

“Tonight’s the night I make Gigi Hadid a live example of why Iggy Iggz is NOT to be trifled with!” Azalea declares loudly. “I saw her post-fight the last time we fought: I’m not in HER league? Maybe I wasn’t 5 months ago, but I’m 100% sure that bytch isn’t in mine now! She’s going DOWN!”

“She was nothing back then, and she’s still nothing now.” Gigi dismisses. “I’ll be more than happy to remind her of that. Does she recognize who I’ve fought? She’s not on my level. And I don’t care who she’s trained with, what she’s done, or who this bytch she thinks she is, but I do care about lies regarding me: and the idea that Iggy freaking Azalea can actually beat Gigi freaking Hadid is the biggest one of all! And it’s going to be SQUASHED by squashing HER!”

ROUND 1: Iggy and Gigi meet each other center ring, gloves up, both wearing angry glares. Iggy moving first with quick right hands, Gigi guarding; goes for a counter-shot, only to get surprised with a left hook from the Aussie! Iggy moves in close, still swinging, but she's trading with her opponent now! The American tries her best, but Iggy's hits look a little too forceful for her liking, and a right cross gets her staggering! Iggy moves in with repeating hooks to the stomach, Gigi taking it, but her left glove manages to stop that in time! Azalea still trying to stay on her; OH, caught by an uppercut! Gigi's got her now; solid left right right left combination to the face but Iggy's UPPERCUT TO THE STOMACH! My God, Azalea's like a tank right now! Iggy pounds her into a corner, and moves up to knocking her head around! Hadid trying to fight back, but she's looking forced to block; and the bell rings to stop her anyway! Iggy's glove was away from her face, and the Aussie rapper lowers it...and gives a big smirk to Gigi! Oh, that's gonna set her off! This round was a close one, but it's going to Miss Azalea!

ROUND 2: Gigi storming right into Iggy, and it's not doing her much good! Iggy taking advantage of the unfocused American by punishing her whiffed strikes with big right hands crashing into her head! Hadid is being walked around the ring by Iggy's forceful assault, and despite everything the girl just can't get that guard up! Iggy going to the body--there, a counter hit by Gigi stops Iggy's dominance! She's trying to break through that guard, prying away at the Aussie's gloves with alternating punches, gaining some distance...it's not doing her much good, though. Iggy immediately finding the chance for a right cross, once again walloping Gigi; and the rapper looks awfully pleased with herself as the bell rings once again! This second round closes with Iggy unarguably on top; hopefully Gigi has some time to cool down!

ROUND 3: Both ladies are back in neutral, Gigi calmed down and not letting Iggy's confidence get to her. Iggy isn't rushing right at Gigi for the kill, but she's still taking the lead with forceful right hands in order to put the model on edge. Gigi is back on her feet, moving around, going under a shot to slam her left into Azalea's chest! The rapper isn't going down, still swinging and connecting when Gigi tries to capitalize. Gigi has to close up out of necessity, but now Iggy might be pushing it a bit too much; she's nice and close to Hadid, trying to penetrate the guard, but OH! Hadid with a sudden shot to the chin! Iggy trying to back up, but gets smacked with a left and a right! She's looking a little stunned, and Gigi just keeps going! After an unanswered stomach blow, Iggy bobs out of the way and finds herself on the defensive as Gigi attempts to catch up in terms of hits landed throughout the match; unfortunately for her, it's not happening. Azalea seems to have gotten smarter about fighting; she's even able to land another clean one on her opponent right before the round ends. That being said, Gigi Hadid still takes her first point lead.

ROUND 4: Gigi getting aggressive, but not overconfidently so; it seems to be working as Azalea doesn't have an answer! Gigi with a left-right-left--IGGY with a sudden right-handed haymaker she was sneaking with her glove! Hadid getting worked into the ropes with heavy-handed left hooks! Then comes a right cross, sending out a little blood from Gigi's mouth! Azalea's REALLY hitting her hard! Gigi isn't giving up, though, her lefts poking and letting her get away from Iggy for a few moments! Iggy charging at her, Gigi trying to stop her by knocking back her head--OH! The jab grazes Azalea and lets her slam Hadid right in the stomach with a big uppercut! Aussie's in a flurry, knocking her back and forth, back and forth! Gigi STILL fighting, but looking awfully dazed and shaky! Honestly, she barely looks like she knows where she is! If she can last just a bit longer like she is right now, she might be able to make it without a knockdown! Hadid swinging near Iggy; near being the keyword, because her punches just aren't making the mark! Iggy's forcing her onto the ropes once more, now she's trying to protect her chest with her guard-LEFT GLOVE collides with her face and Gigi collapses hard onto the ground! Iggy flashes her teeth with a smile as she walks back to her corner, the ref's counting Gigi Hadid out...and absolutely NO response! She's turned over to reveal shut eyes and a bloody nose. Ring that bell, because this fight is over; KO4 for Iggy Azalea!

AFTER: Iggy posing to a cheering crowd, kneeling next to the bruised-up Hadid for a photo op, gladly taken by another stablemember in Queens of the Mic. Instead of shouting and hollering, she's oddly relaxed, but obviously satisfied.

"It feels SO good to get back at her!" Iggy admits to us. "It took her 8 rounds to knock me out; after some training, some learning, and focusing, it took me HALF that. This just shows that I'm getting even better as a boxer...or that Gigi Hadid is a fraud of a fighter. Take your pick."

When asked about her sudden lack of bluster in the whole matter, Iggy responds honestly. "Yeah, she pissed me off, but she's taken care of now...unless she's stupid enough to ask for a rematch. I've got bigger
