(Downunder Boxing vs Girls Friday)

Intro:
The main event in Vegas's MGM Grand sees the FCBA lightweight title on the line, Miranda Kerr challenges for the title for the first time as she takes on the champion Kendall Jenner.
Miranda is 34 year old; she stands 5'9, she holds a record of 26 wins, 24 by knockout and only 2 defeats in her career so far.
She is currently the ACB bantamweight champion, a former BBU Bantamweight and Lightweight champion and a former Queen of the ice Hotel.
Kendall is 22 years old, she stands 5'11 and holds a record of 18 wins, all by knockout and 4 defeats, she is the current FCBA lightweight champion and this is her 3rd defence.
These two have met twice before in the ring, Miranda winning both encounters with knockouts in the final rounds of the fights.
At the press conference; the fighters got into the spirit of the event by posing with their fists up, the big gold belt around Kendall's waist.
Before they smile and remind the sea of journalists that they are friends as they ask each other how the other is, a nod is exchanged before heading to their tables.
Miranda is asked to speak first "2017 was simply wow for me, the most fights I've had in a year, I won the Victoria Secret tournament and kept my ACB title, now to get a shot at the FCBA title; this year is starting off right"
She grins as she continues "as me and Kendall have shown each time we've met, I look at her like a little sister; it's hard to fight her but I've proven I can pull it out when I need to, the title is a big incentive though to do it again"
Talking about Taylor and Jennifer "I know there are two others after this title too, bring it on is all I can say to them, I don't care which one I fight, but me and Kendall will both kick their asses"
Kendall chuckles at that, replying "well maybe we should become a tag team, I mean who could live with us two in that ring" winking at Miranda.
But she gets serious as she adds "while that's all fun, let's be frank; this title means the world to me, while I love you Miranda, I won't be giving this up for anyone and anyway, I owe you a defeat after the last two time, lord knows I was close to beating you anyway"
Miranda looks a little put out by that comment, but puts her smile back on as Kendall makes her next statement aimed at Taylor Swift.
"Oh and Taylor; I promise you that I still want to kick your ass, so you better win too or don't come crying to me!"
The girls give each other a hug; though it doesn't look so much a loving one as it would have at the start of the press conference, separating to head off stage with one thing firmly on their minds, to leave with the title.
Fight night; out comes Miranda first with her coach Nikki Visser, she is wearing a pink sports bra, trunks with a white waistband, pink gloves and shoes, while her brunette hair is in a ponytail.
She is strutting to the ring with her arms up in the air; the two Aussie's looking excited as this is the chance that Miranda has wanted for years, finally she has it in her hands.
Stepping into the ring, she bounds over to her corner; climbing up to the bottom rope and flexing her arms as she gives the crowd a devilish grin before stepping down and warming up.
Now out comes the champion; Lauren Berlingeri is holding her big gold belt as cut woman Eva Carneiro stands behind them, Kendall looks around the packed arena with a deeply serious expression, she knows the risks she has put her reign under but she is determined to show why she is the champ.
Marching to the ring; she is wearing a black sports bra, black trunks with "Kendall 'the champ' Jenner" in gold letters on the waistband, gold gloves and black shoes, her brunette hair is braided and she has on her glossy red lipstick.
Stepping into the ring; Kendall roars "this is my title Miranda, you ain't taking it!" As the friends glare across the ring at each other.
Soon they are brought to the ring centre with the referee holding the belt up to the crowd, before showing the fighters, Kendall telling Miranda "that's mine; it'll never be yours as long as I have it"
Leading to Miranda squaring right up nose to nose with Kendall, that "sisterly" love they spoke about is being replaced with greed, everything they've worked for is on the line and they will smash through each other to claim it.
Asked to touch gloves; there's a tense moment where neither do anything, just staring hard at each other, till maybe offering some respite from this tension, Miranda puts her gloves out and Kendall touches them respectfully.
Stepping back to their corners, their eyes have been stuck on their opponent's throughout, the bell soon rings to start 10 rounds of FCBA lightweight championship action.

Round 1:
"Ding" out come the fighters, neither rushing out and neither though they know each others style; that also adds to them not going overboard early, just measuring each other up with their jabs early on.
Soon as Kendall tries to throw more sweeping punches to get around the guard of Kerr, she gets hit to her face with a double jab and two body shots as Miranda springs forwards.
The fighters trade on the inside; with Kerr looking the more aggressive as she seems to surprise Jenner, beating her around the body and nearly smacking her in the face with her head as she does so.
Kendall finding herself being driven towards the ropes, covering up as Miranda has control of her, throwing her left up top to keep the champ behind her guard, while the right works the body.
That's till Kendall knocks away the jab and lashes out a left cross that catches Miranda across her face, with Kendall stepping back into space to work off the back foot.
The late part of the round sees things settle down again; both circling and trading single punches as Kendall manages to get into some form of a rhythm.
Just before the bell though; Miranda slips under a right from the champ and lands a right hook across Kendall's face that puts the champ on the defensive.
The bell rings with Miranda staring Kendall down, the referee stepping between the fighters in case but they it just looks like she's trying to get into the head of Kendall.
Who brushed it off as they head to their corners, though Lauren looks a little worried for her fighter, telling her "don't let her get to you; you've improved so much these past 6 months, don't let it go to waste"

Round 2:
The fighters are back out; again starting with jabbing attacks with Kendall working more on the back foot, using her slight reach advantage to catch Miranda coming on.
The challenger though slips inside to land a right to the ribs of Kendall and just misses with an overhand left, leaving her open to a counter straight to the top of her head.
Separating for a moment, the girls again settle into trading single punches through gaps in the others defences.
Till Miranda tries to step inside, she gets beaten to the punch by two straight punches to her lips and she misses with her own right hook.
With Kendall starting to get into her groove, keeping the fight at range and forcing Miranda to tighten her guard as the champ head hunts her with her punches.
The challenger manages to get inside after parrying a straight punch and forces the fight in tight, with both girls letting their hands go to try to take control.
The crowd roars even as the fight becomes scruffy; arms getting hit as much as bodies and faces as they touch heads.
Kendall shows she won't be bullied by her opponent, nudging her with her left and lands two cross punches across the head of Kerr to open up space.
The round ends with Kendall telling Miranda "I've told you! I am not giving up my title" with Miranda just shaking her head in reply before they head back to their corners.
Sitting on their stools; both fighters getting cleaned up as their coaches talk to them about what adjustments they need to make.

Round 3:
Meeting near the ring centre, the fighters are now fully warmed up and it shows as they move more quickly on their toes and landing more punches through to the others face.
Kendall again lands the cleaner punches as she works on the outside, her hand speed seems to be catching Miranda out.
The champ throwing more feints to make Miranda second guess, then smacks her with rights and lefts across her face.
A right across the lips of Miranda busts her bottom lip, making Kendall smirk as she now has a bullseye to aim for, with her punches aimed at it.
But Miranda blocks most of the punches, then ducks inside and lands an overhand right to push Kendall onto her heels.
The challenger lands three punches to the body and just misses with a left hook up top, getting clipped to her lips by a counter right that slows her down.
Miranda starting to look frustrated as Kendall keeps her behind her guard, she's moving her head more to be able to counter the champ.
Which she does late on as Kendall misses with a right and takes an uppercut that pushes her back, the Aussie beauty throwing a flurry of punches at the head of Jenner.
Who covers up as the round comes to it's conclusion; no incident this time as they head back to their corners, with Kendall looking pleased that she has had success these last two round.

But even as Kendall sits and watches Miranda get cleaned up, she knows though she has a long way to go to stop her.

Round 4:
This time Miranda looks to get on the front foot early, the fighters trading at the ring centre, letting their hands do the talking as they pound away with not much defence.
Miranda pushing her way inside, she slams a right to the ribs of the champion, starting to power forwards as she digs away at the body of Jenner.
But Kendall snaps a straight off the bloody lips of Miranda and a opens up space with a right on the ear of Miranda that makes her step back and shake her head.
The fighters circle and land at midrange as they look for an opening to work from but are cancelling each other out at the moment by countering each other.
Miranda steps inside after throwing a feint, landing a right hook across the face of Kendall to start to get a drive going, pounding away at the gloves of the champ.
Kendall though blocks a right and rifles her straight off the lips of Miranda, forcing her back with three punches of her own smacking the challenger on her face.
That forces Miranda to retreat and both girls start to go cagey with their attacks, measuring each other up more before letting their right go with seconds left in the round.
The bell rings with both looking annoyed, each had success but couldn't do much to show they really won the round.
Miranda keeping calm as she has the confidence of beating the champ before, so while she isn't flying; she didn't the first two fights either, so it's Kendall who still looks a little bothered at the moment.

Round 5:
Back out again to the ring centre come the fighters, snapping jabs onto the others guard as they circle with the tension rising once more in the arena.
Till they both launch at each other; leading to a heated exchange between them, sweat flies off them as the sound of leather echoes around the ring.
Kendall manages to get a right to land off the lips of her challenger, giving her a chance to build off it by landing a left hook that forces Miranda to retreat back a few steps.
That allows the American to pressure her back with punches eating away at her guard; till Miranda's back hits the ropes.
Then like a cornered beast; Miranda roars and starts throwing wild punches, Kendall unwisely stays in tight; getting into a vicious scrap that sees her nose get cut on the bridge.
Kendall finally steps back, she is on the defensive as Miranda storms forwards, the younger fighter finding her body being worked over again as the challenger looks to cut her down.
The champ takes a hard right around her guard, knocking her to the side a step and forcing her to retreat as Miranda just misses with a hard looking right haymaker.
Both settling back down as seconds tick away, scowling through their gloves at each other as they throw two and three shots at a time to try and force the other back.
The bell soon rings with the fighters looking over each other and heading back to their corners to get cleaned up as they are bloodied and their cheeks are starting to look a little puffy.
Their eyes are locked across the ring as their coaches get to work, the fans look stunned by how vicious these two are getting to take the title home.

Round 6:
Pushing out of their corners, the fighters circle each other looking for a better angle to attack from, fighting from behind their guards as they trade jabs.
Till Miranda uses a feint to open up Kendall's defence, throwing a right hook over the top that catches Jenner and lands a follow up left cross that shoves the champ onto her heels.
The challenger getting right into champs face as she lands away to the body, forcing Kendall's guard to dip, then she lands an overhand right to knock Kendall onto the ropes.
Kendall forced to cover up as Miranda begins to really open up, working around the guard of the youngster to pound her.
The champion needs to clinch up, both fighters looking happy to take a moments break, the referee needed to break them apart to continue.
Once apart; Kendall gets some space to work in and starts catching Miranda coming in on her lips and nose to keep her at distance.
The rest of the round settles down into both fighters managing to land some big shots through the others guard, but getting hit to keep them back when they try to step forwards.
Till late in the round; Kendall catches Miranda across the top of her head with a left cross and snaps her head back with a straight punch, the champion finishing the round strongly as she backs Kerr towards the ropes.
The bell rings before she can push her the rest of the way, the girls look each other up and down; seeing the damage they've done and hoping that they can put the other down.
Sitting on their stools, neither corner can think about the scorecards because they can't work out whose winning this, instead cleaning their fighters up; both looking sore as they wince when being touched.

Round 7:
Fighting early this round at midrange, it's Kendall whose looking to be more aggressive as she comes out head hunting and stepping in closer, maybe trying to force something out the round.
But Miranda isn't going to fall foul of that so easily, letting Kendall smack off her gloves as she moves onto the back foot, throwing a few jabs in reply at the body of her taller opponent.
The champ manages to land a right over the top of Kerr's guard, follows up with a left cross that puts the Aussie onto her heels.
But as she steps forwards; KENDALL GETS CAUGHT WITH AN UPPERCUT THAT PUTS HER ONTO HER ASS! The crowd roars as Miranda jogs to a neutral corner.
The referee begins to count 1..2....3 as Kendall rubs her jaw and shakes her head to clear the cobwebs 4...5...6.. She turns and starts pushing herself up 7...8... Standing up, she blinks a few times but nods she is OK and puts her fists up.
Allowed to continue; Kendall covers up and retreats as Miranda comes flying forwards, Miranda slams three punches into the guard of Jenner to nearly smash it into her face.
Miranda manages to force Kendall onto the ropes; where the fighters go hard on each other, smashing rights and lefts across faces.
Kendall needs to clinch up with Miranda, the challenger pressing her on the ropes as the referee struggles to break them apart.
After being separated; Miranda continues to herd Kendall around the ring till the bell rings to end the round, Miranda looking hyped right now, wanting to finish this soon and knowing that she has taken a big step forwards.
Kendall looks to stay calm though, Lauren telling her what to do to stay in this fight and to turn it around, her fans though doesn't look so hopeful.

Round 8:
Miranda looks to end this now; hammering away at Kendall's guard, she works on trying to break it as the champ stays on the back foot.
The Aussie snaps a straight off the bloody nose of Kendall to knock her back a step and Kendall yelps as Miranda backs her up.
The challenger misses a right hook as Kendall leans back; the champ countering with a jab onto the nose of Miranda.
Kendall lands an uppercut of her own that rocks Miranda's head back and suddenly it's Kendall whose bringing the fight to her opponent.
The girls fall in tight, working on the inside as both are looking hurt from this physical war, with Kendall using her left shoulder to push Miranda onto the ropes.
Kendall lashing out over the top with a right as she moves back and Miranda now covers up as the champion looks to batter her into submission, throwing punches one after the other into her defences.
Miranda though parries a right and snaps a straight to the bloody nose of Kendall to force her back, the momentum changing once again as now the challenger is driving the champ back.
But as she tries to drive forwards; Miranda misses a left cross and Kendall digs a straight into the left eye of her opponent to make her yelp and pounds away with rights and lefts slamming into the face of Kerr.
Soon though the bell rings with the champion getting her fans back on side after a tough last round, she gets a nod from Lauren to say good job.
Miranda looking a little unnerved as she sits and stares at her opponent, she wonders how much tougher she has gotten since the last time they fought, "it won't matter" she whispers to herself.

Round 9:
Both women push out their corners; they are sore to say the least as they meet and start trading, with Miranda looking to get right into Kendall's face and finish this.
Problem for her is that Kendall seems to have found a second wind of sorts after being put down, with Kendall matching Miranda early in the round as they trade at midrange.
The challenger manages to get a hard right to the body of the champ to force a gasp from her, a follow up overhand left misses though, leading to her getting clipped across her bloody lips to cause her to grimace.
A double jab off the top of her head pushes her back a step and Miranda is looking frustrated as she swings a wild right that just finds air and she takes another straight to her nose.
A follow up left hook turns Miranda's head and as her guard opens up, Kendall's eyes light up and she hammers three punches straight into the face of her challenger, battering Kerr back onto her heels.
Miranda forced on the defensive and on the ropes; Kendall picking her off, not just throwing wild punches to try to end this, instead working the body to open up the Australian, then throwing through gaps in her guard.
The challenger starts to fire back; leading to a scruffy exchange between the two as they try to control each other and land a big punch.
Miranda doesn't enjoy being under fire and clinches up with Kendall, they both grimace as they lock up and rest against each other, till they are pulled apart.
The last few seconds of the round sees both just throw punches, giving their all to batter each other into a mess and as the bell rings, they both look like they could collapse onto each other.
Neither races back to their corners, their coaches working hard with their cut people to get these two proud women ready for what could be the longest 3 minutes of their lives!

Round 10:
Out come the fighters, touching gloves as they show each other respect; their eyes though show the steely determination they have to take this fight off the other.
Both try to get up on their toes, though there's not much spring in their legs, they circle and trade stiff jabs through the others guards, trying to set up the finish.
Miranda gets inside to work the body of Kendall; whose eyes shut as she is driven back two steps, but shoves the challenger back to create space.
But Miranda is looking hungry as she comes back forwards; missing with a right hook and TAKES ONE FROM KENDALL ON HER CHIN TO ROCK HER, A FOLLOW UP LEFT PUTS MIRANDA ON HER BACK!
The crowd can't believe it! Kendall looks to have found the off button finally of Miranda 1...2...3...4... But Miranda crawls slowly to the ropes 5...6.. Getting to them; she starts pushing herself up them 7....8...9 Miranda is up! Blinking rapidly as she tries to clear her head.
The referee after checking a hurt looking Miranda, must give her the benefit of the doubt as he let's the fight continue, maybe thinking with just over a minute to go that she might survive the round.
BUT KENDALL IS STRAIGHT ON HER, A RIGHT PIERCES THE GUARD OF MIRANDA TO KNOCK HER HEAD BACK AND THE CHAMPION JUST KEEPS THROWING PUNCH AFTER PUNCH INTO A SLUMPING MIRANDA'S FACE TILL THE REFEREE JUMPS IN AND STOPS THE FIGHT!

Winner and still FCBA lightweight champion Kendall Jenner TKO Round 10

After:
After the fight is stopped; Kendall is quick to go over to Miranda and hugs her, telling her "I'm so sorry I had to be such a bytch, I hope you forgive me"
With Miranda upset that she lost her chance at glory, but she hugs Kendall back and replies "it's OK; we were both desperate for this, you earned this tonight" both crying on the others shoulder as the crowd stand and applaud both women for a great fight.
After they release each other from the hug; their coaches need to help both to their corners, they beat the living hell out of each other and it shows by the blood on their faces, on their busts and their swollen faces, neither will be modelling this week.
Once they are cleaned up and feel good enough to stand up; they head to the ring centre for the final announcement, with Kendall getting a chant as her arm is raised.
The youngster is still sobbing as this might rank as a personal best win as she finally slay one demon in her career, she proved she can beat Miranda after two long years and now three vicious fights.
Kendall gets the title and Miranda graciously congratulates her, with both smiling now that the tension between them is gone and they have cleared the air somewhat.
Miranda gives Kendall one thing to remember "promise me you will wreck Taylor OK? I will f*** up Jennifer for us both" with Kendall nodding in reply with a big smile on her face.
Kerr leaves the ring with Nikki's help to a loud roar from the fans, with Miranda now on her way to the PPV to fight Jennifer Lawrence.
While the champion raises the belt above her head, wincing as she does it and now knowing that her and her bitter enemy Taylor Swift will meet for this big gold belt at the PPV, a real grudge match with the title on the line, what more could you ask for as they say.
Kendall herself clearly looking forward to it as she leaves the ring, telling Lauren "Taylor is going to feel my wrath soon enough, I can't wait to bury her in that ring"
But will the gamble pay off for Kendall or will Taylor Swift get revenge and claim the title for herself? Not long to find out now!
