TESS VALMORE

RATH/KING Rath got off to a good start winning three of the first four rounds to take a good lead. King cut the lead by winning round five. I thought King would probably even up the fight by taking round six. She did better than that. Half way through the round. she landed a straight right to Rath's chin and Rath went down. She managed to get to her knees, but no further as the count passed her by.

GADON/STEWART I think it is well known that I am not a fan of Stewart. Once again, she is being fed a opponent who is in her first FCBA bout. She did have to unimpressive wins in the BBU. Big Deal. Another fight to pad her record. The bout was even at two and even at four. The fight came to the expected conclusion in the fifth, as Stewart landed a right hand that sent Gadon down. She didn’t move while being counted out. Do you know how hard it is for me to have to go up and interview Stewart after a win?

LeFEVRE/ARTERTON A top ten lightweight against a fighter who has had only two fights and no wins. LeFevre had been at the Asylum 18 months ago losing to Torv by a seven round TKO. This was nothing but a stay busy bout for Arterton. She could end it anytime she wanted. That time came in the third round, when she flattened LeFevre beat Torv’s win by four rounds

K SOLO/WINTER This bout didn’t last long In the middle of the second, Winter landed a vicious right to the body that doubled Solo up. A Winter right to the chin dropped Solo. She managed to get to her feet but was smeared along the ropes and the fight was stopped giving Winter a TKO2

SWAN/SMULDERS Smulders took the first two rounds. Swan had a bid third round but Smulders managed to survive. She didn’t survive the fourth. A minute into the round Swan landed a right uppercut that dropped Smulders. Smulders was still on her back as the count reached ten

SPIRIDAKOS/BENNET This was the best fight of the night. Spiridakos gave Bennet almost all she could handle in the first. She followed up by taking the second and third rounds to build a big lead. It was comeback time for Bennet and she proceeded to win the next three rounds and even up the fight at the end of six. The bout didn’t last the seventh as Bennet landed a big right hand that sent Spiridakos down for the count.
