(Free Agent vs Free Agent)

Intro:
A clash of two different generations tonight as Abigail Breslin meets Fergie; this fight taking place not too far from Fergie's hometown as it takes place in the Staples Center in LA.
Abigail is 21 years old, stands 5'1 and holds a record of 3 wins, all by knockout and only 1 defeat, she won the 2017 New Blood flyweight tournament.
Her opponent Fergie is double her age at 42 years old, she stands 5'1 3/4, her record stands at 4 wins, all by knockout and 8 defeats.
The fighters met at the press event and seemed to be OK around each other, taking photos together without any incidents before sitting at their tables.
Abigail speaks first "last time out I made sure to prove that I am the undisputed New Blood champion by beating that overrated Chloe Moretz, now it's time to start moving up the rankings by beating the bigger fish"
She adds "Fergie is twice my age, so I have to be totally honest as much as she will hate me, but she doesn't have anything that worries me, this is a fight simply to get up the rankings"
As she suggested; Fergie looks upset but she takes a breath and replies "I won't be too harsh on Abigail, she is young and naive, so of course she doesn't fully understand what I bring to the ring"
Continuing "I am a better all round boxer then she is, where Abi acts like a sledgehammer; I will not just stand and let her hit me, so don't get too big for your boots little missy"
Abigail doesn't exactly look impressed by the speech, just staring over at Fergie with a big grin on her face, before the women head off stage.
Fight night, out comes Abigail wearing a baby blue sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, while her blonde hair is in a ponytail.
She looks excited to get this on as she heads to the ring, waving to the fans with a big smile on her face, even jogging up the steps into the ring, while waving Fergie to bring it on.
Now out comes the former Black eyed peas singer Fergie; she is wearing all black tonight, sports bra, trunks, gloves and shoes, while her brunette hair is up in a ponytail too.
She doesn't seem to care about her opponent as she chats to her coach on the way to the ring, not even looking at Abigail till she gets into the ring.
Once both are in the ring, they quickly come to the ring centre for the referee to go through the instructions and stare each other down.
Asked to touch gloves, they touch them up without any issues, just both grinning at each other as they are both confident of victory, the referee soon rings the bell to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters with Fergie looking to move and counter Abigail; while the youngster is in bulldozer mode it seems, just stalking forwards.
It's the movement of Fergie though that is allowing her to score the better punches early on, taking a few glancing shots around the top of her head.
Fergie landing through gaps in Abigail's defence, the rookie is looking too keen to rush forwards and is being punished as pundits all agreeing that she is losing points.
A double jab lands through Abigail's guard, with Fergie ripping a right across the face of the blonde to starting to push Breslin back.
But as she tries to get into the face of her own, it leads to a fiery exchange and as she tries to get back into the space, Abigail steps inside to bang away at the body of Fergie.
The older fighter needs to shove Abigail back, she can't keep her too far back though as the fighters are back at it, slugging it out and Fergie is being driven backwards.
It's Abigail finishing the round strongly as Fergie doesn't seem able to keep her off her, the powerful blonde ripping away at the body of the singer as she knocks her onto the ropes.
The bell rings with neither looking particularly happy, Fergie though knows that she has probably done enough to win the first round, problem is can she keep Abigail off her game long enough to win this?

Round 2:
Out come the fighters with Fergie trying to settle back into the counter style that worked well in the opening round, with both fighters trading stiff jabs.
Abigail looks a little more patience, learning her lesson it seems as she waits for an opening to appear then trying to force open one herself.
A missed right from Fergie gives that chance as Abigail steps inside to bang away to the body, ripping the air from the lungs of Fergie, who groans and grimaces.
She tries to step back to recover; Fergie hasn't the speed though and ends up taking a harsh looking right across her face to drive her onto her heels.
Abigail gives her no time to breath, keeping the pressure on by slamming punch after punch into her guard, before changing things up to land some back to the sides of her opponents body.
Fergie tries to fight back, that just ends with her taking a stiff straight onto her nose and a left hook that makes her stumble off to the side.
The singer turns around in time to take another left that opens up a cut under her left eye, making Fergie loudly cry out in pain as the crowd see the youngster just maul her for a lack of a better term onto the the ropes.
The referee seems to be watching closely as Fergie's face takes a lot of punishment, her nose is soon bleeding as Abigail almost looks demonic the way she is beating her opponent without looking like she cares one bit.
The bell rings to "save" Fergie; the cameras catch her face which is certainly looking no where near the beautiful one that stepped in the ring tonight.
Abigail looks somewhat proud of her work as she takes a breath and a drink in her corner, watching Fergie getting cleaned up as the referee asks Fergie if she wants to continue, with the singer nodding that she still wants a go at Breslin.

Round 3:
Fergie is up and about, Abigail doesn't take long to get her rhythm going though as she marks up her opponents face with her jab.
The older fighter tries to fire back with real power; she is too slow it seems as Breslin simply moves out the way of her punches.
BEFORE ABIGAIL DUCKS UNDER A RIGHT HOOK AND COMES BACK UP WITH HER OWN ACROSS FERGIE'S CHIN, KNOCKING HER FLAT ON HER STOMACH! THE REFEREE IS QUICK TO CHECK HER AND WAVES THE FIGHT OFF, FERGIE IS KNOCKED OUT!

Winner Abigail Breslin KO Round 3

After:
It was a result that was expected by pundits, but credit has to be given to Abigail for following through with a merciless beating.
Fergie is checked on and the doctor waves for a stretcher, medics in to help put Fergie on the stretcher and out the ring as the crowd give her a respectful round of applause.
For all the blusher Abigail came in with, she does look worried for Fergie as is led out the ring, her coach assuring her that she'll be OK.
Soon she gets into the spirit of celebrating; jumping up onto the middle rope of her corner, she raises her fists into the air as her fans give her a loud cheer.
Jumping back down; Abigail talking to her coach on what they should do to celebrate since they've an early night, Abigail smiling as they plan to hit the town.
Leaving the ring, Abigail high fives a few of the fans in the front row, some wondering how far can she go, others thinking more of the short term as they question if she should continue looking for easy options or go big and make a big statement.
It probably won't be long till we find out as Abigail says to her rivals through the camera "come on girls, I'm ready to blast my way through you all!" Winking before she jogs up the ramp and away.
