(Nigri: 28yo, 5'7”, 124#, 11-3-0, 11KO) vs (Dawson: 38yo, 5'7", 132#, 9-7-0, 8KO)

Before: Jessica Nigri's debut for her new stable, Chimera, and she's doing it at lightweight! Jessica one of those "cusp" fighters, her weight fluctuating between 118-125, making her dangerous at bantam, but a question mark at lightweight. Her new stable head, Stephanie McMahon - says she knows a thing or two about women's bodies and was adamant that, "Nigri's future's at light. She's never going to realize her full potential dropping weight for every fight, something she had to do regularly as a bantam. At light, we may even add a few pounds of muscle without any problem."

Rosario Dawson, a wily old veteran has only had 15 FCBA fights in her 12+ year career; and hasn't fought more than three times in a year since 2012 - the ONLY time she's been in a boxing ring more than three times! So there's little chance Dawson's "ring weary" - quite the opposite. Rose looking a little thick at the weigh-in, where she tipped the scales a couple of pounds over the lightweight max, but managed to get down with some effort, and by fight time, she'll be back up over 130!

Dawson scoffs at the idea Nigri had a weight problem as a bantam. "The FCBA's always had a weight problem," Rosario said angrily. "hey let stables 'self-certify' a fighter's weight, claiming the women are celebrities, not athletes; that agents, and film companies want their stars presented a certain way. Demi Lovato's lucky if she can get down to 130 to stay under welter weight, yet time and again she's allowed to fight at fly! I could go down a list, but Nigri's stable is doing the right thing; putting her in a weight class where she belongs. Now I'll show her what a mistake that is!"

Both women highly regarded power punchers, Nigri's eleven wins all coming via KO while Dawson is eight of nine. No one expects this fight to go the distance. Dawson's the slight favorite based on having faced more big women in her career and Nigri's spectacular win-loss record is called into question by being littered with the bodies of bantams and a few flyweights!

Chimera's head trainer, Jeri Ryan, and Jessica's personal trainer, Katie Holmes, both in her corner along with cut woman, Elizabeth Berkley.
Dawson, no longer a member of any stable, calls on a former stablemate, Emma Watson, who with Lady Gaga, works her corner. Watson has first-hand knowledge of Nigri from their time together at the now defunct "Sisters in Arms" - which can't hurt Dawson's chances!

During R1: Both women come out swinging! Dawson pumping her left in Jesse's face, backing the blond up as she presses her attack, dark hair flying as she pumps her fists into the midsection of the blonde beauty! Her back on the ropes, Nigri's defense stiffens and she starts to block Dawson's relentless body attack with her elbows; gloves earmuffed to protect her head. As Rosario's attack loses steam, the buxom blond pushes off the ropes to unleash her own attack! Behind crisp left hooks and rib-cracking rights to the left side of the brunette's body, Jessica batters Dawson backward, making up all her lost territory until she bodies up to Rosario, Jessica's luscious juggs overwhelming Dawson's proud puppies as they squirm and writhe along the ropes, pumping body shots in with either hand.
Nimble Jessica Nigri quicksteps to her right to drop a chopping overhand down on the crouching brunette, buckling Rosario's legs momentarily. It's not devastating, but it does enough for Nigri to land two more hard punches (left-right) that drive Dawson's butt back between the ropes. The final minute of the round is a classic demonstration of blonde dominance as Nigri wedges her knee between Rosario's thighs to keep her trapped, then hammers away to the body with both hands to the bell.

R2: Veteran brunette took a beating in the first round, but recovers quickly and from the bell she's back on the attack once more. Having seen Jessica's quickness firsthand, and felt the sting in her fists, Rosario doesn't repeat her earlier mistake and husbands her energy, throwing two and three punch combinations, then resting a bit on defense as Nigri expends herself in fruitless attempts to replicate her earlier success with flurries of punches that crash like an incoming tide against the rocky shoal of Dawson's firm defenses. Then as Nigri's fury abates, Rosario goes back on offense, beating the blond backward again. This time when Dawson gets Nigri's butt stuffed in the ropes, she puts her weight on the younger woman, making her use up energy wrestling, rather than punching. Down the stretch, Rosario the attacker, working over Nigri's slender waist with left hooks, right crosses and an occasional uppercut into those jutting prodigious puppies Jessica flaunts in her cosplay publicity photos. At the bell, Dawson's breathing hard, but it's Nigri who's hugging herself as she heads back to her stool in what is suddenly looking like a real fight that is unexpectedly even after two action-filled rounds!

R3: More of the same! Jessica getting advice between rounds, but getting advice and putting it to use are two different things and early-on Dawson's again swarming all over the young blonde! Nigri being buffeted badly at times, but she's also doing a good job of clinching and crowding Rosario to muffle much of her power. Dawson the older fighter, looking to end the fight this round, throwing everything by her corner stool at the young woman, but Nigri's nimble feet, quick hands and her ability to move laterally are making life difficult for the older, less "sharp" brunette.
You can win a fight using guile, quickness, solid defense and nimble feet, but it sure helps if you can hit your opponent once in a while, and this round Jessica Nigri's so busy ducking, defending, and dancing, she's not throwing at lot of punches, and those aren't landing with any observable authority. Fans on the opposite side of the ring from your reporter's ringside seats enjoying themselves as Nigri spends most of the third round with her cute, tight, butt hanging out through the ropes right in front of them, her glutes jiggling and bouncing as Dawson's fists beat a tattoo on the front of her lush young body. At the bell, Rosario whirls away, arms raised overhead as she wins the round wide. There's less bounce in Jessica Nigri's step than there is in her top, or her bottom, as she trudges to her corner!

R4: Holmes and Ryan both in Jessica's face between rounds; Holmes earning her money, struggling to advise her fighter with Jeri Ryan's DD's in her ear as Jeri berates Katie - and Jessica - for in her opinion, "...makin' me look bad!" (Seems good ol' Jer's got her priorities straight!)
Something somebody says (Holmes? Ryan? Theron from her ringside seat?) must've registered because right from the bell for the fourth round, Nigri looks like the fighter who devastated the bantam ranks in 2017! Her punches are crisper; her footwork steadier; her combinations ticking like a Swiss watch (do they still make watches in Switzerland or only chocolate?) Whatever the reason, Jesse's opening salvo puts Dawson on her heels; then using movement and combinations, Jesse forces Rosario to fight uphill the rest of the round!
Nigri up-tempos the final minute of the round, taking a page from Sugar Ray Leonard and other Hall of Fame fighters, putting on a display of their dominance to leave the judges with a positive impression. Jessica, hooks, hooks, hooks, then again she buckles Rose's knees with a huge right hand! Dawson hanging on, arms wrapped around Nigri's waist; her face in the blonde's heaving bosom. Nigri thumping both of Rosario's flanks as she bulldozes her back onto the ropes. Jesse sets up on Rosario's chest, slamming punches with both fists into her belly. BELL! BELL! Nigri in the zone, doesn't hear the bell, or it doesn't register, and she's still punching furiously when the referee jumps in to drag her away from Dawson who sags into the ropes, her left arm draped over the top strand to hold her up. Big finish to a strong round clearly goes Nigri's way by a wide margin!

R5: Dawson's corner in disarray! Emma Watson, irate, scrambles thru the ropes and chases the referee across the ring, grabs him by the shirt and spins him around. The petite little brunette up on her tip-toes, perky breasts shoved in the grinning referee's chest as she sprays saliva; screaming at him about Jessica Nigri "...b*tch hit my girl after the bell...a coupla damm times. You lilly livered coward; what 'ere you lookin' aht... blondie's tits?"
While Emma's distracting everyone, Lady Gaga must've given Rosario something in the way of a 'pick-me-up' because just a minute or so later, Dawson's on her feet slapping her gloves together; seemingly fresher than when the fight began. In the opposing corner, Nigri's leaning over, elbows on her thighs, head bowed, nodding as Holmes whispers trainers words of wisdom - while holding Ryan at bay with her straight left arm. Neither Holmes nor Ryan seem to notice - or care - Holmes' straight arm extends to her handful of Jeri's right breast.
Dawson and Nigri reprise the first minute of the fight - and just about every other minute thereafter - when they both come out throwing bombs! Yet despite the seeming all-out offense, both are showing some respectable defense as well. With all the leather being thrown around, only about a quarter of it lands anything like solidly. But when they connect, they do damage! Jessica rocked by a Dawson right hand, then puts a shimmy in Rosario's thighs with a whiplash left hook. Back and forth across the ring and along the ropes they each have their moments; then the other takes control and batters her opponent backward. The fans are on their feet... even other fighters there to cheer friends - or jeer rivals - stand and scream at the two women in the ring who are clearly giving their all.
From out of dressing rooms, half-clad women in robes, or their naked bodies swathed in damp towels, come to the back of the arena to see what the fuss is about, only to find themselves caught up in the excitement! After two minutes of trading punches and inflicting damage, neither has been able to separate herself from the other. Then Jessica lands a right hand that shakes Rosario to her core. A second right hand buckles Dawson's knees and Rosario stumbles back against the ropes! Jessica steps with her and bodies up, plunging her left into Dawson's 38 year old abs. Another left hook to the belly doubles Rosario over, her hands grabbing Nigri's hips and pulling her into a bearhug!
They grapple in Dawson's corner with Nigri's back against the turnbuckles. Then she spins them around and stacks Rosario up with a forearm across her chest and drives one... two... three...(!) straight rights into Dawson's solar plexus! Rosario sits down on the middle turnbuckle her forehead in Jessica's cleavage, her hands on the insides of Nigri's elbows, trying to hold her arms. Just as Jessica manages to pull free, the bell rings and this time the referee jumps in immediately to wrap his arms around Jessica from behind and pulls her off of Rosario just as Watson shoves Dawson's stool under her butt!
Fast finish proves the difference for Jessica Nigri who's finally beginning to open some distance between herself and Rosario.

R6: This time, Rosario's still on her stool at the bell and gets a helping hand on the butt from Lady Gaga to get her on her feet as Jesse Nigri comes bouncing out of her corner to engage. Dawson launches a huge right hand hoping to catch the eager youngster unprepared, but Jessica easily slips the punch and drills Rose right between the tits with a straight right hand! Dawson almost sits down, but keeps her feet as she stumbles backward, fortunately so - because a follow-on left hook by Nigri whistles just inches in front of her nose!
As Rosario stutter-steps back, Jessica keeps coming forward, throwing punches with both hands - most landing on Dawson's gloves, forearms, biceps, shoulders or high on her head. Rosario's so busy ducking, blocking, and backing up she doesn't have time to throw any punches of her own. Jessica finally gets her emotions under control and pauses, takes a deep breath, then marches forward after Dawson who's leaning on the ropes trying to catch her breath. Jessica motions to Rosario to "put em up" and waits until Dawson raises her gloves before she attacks.
Two lefts followed by a hard, sweeping right hand to the side of Rosario's face spell the end for the over matched veteran. Rosario's head swivels to her right, then her knees unhinge and she corkscrews to the mat face first, landing spread-eagled at the referee's feet. He looks down at her, looks up at Jessica Nigri and shakes his head, then waves his arms overhead calling the fight. It goes into the book as a Jessica Nigri win via KO6 at 2:07 of the round!

After: Jessica's stood over an even dozen opponents now, but unlike most of the rest, she's not going to be able to JMD Dawson....even if she wanted, which she later is adamant she did NOT want to do. "She's a great old actress and a good fighter. I don't know why she never really got it going in the ring, but from what I saw - and felt - in the ring tonight, she must've been a real handful ten or so years ago. I'm just glad I got the chance to fight her, this is what Stephanie promised me when Chimera signed me, fights to help make me a better fighter and, eventually, a lightweight contender."

Rosario was understandably downcast after losing to a young woman with less fights on her resume than Dawson has had in her career. "I suppose that's why I don't fight that often. I guess it takes a few months for me to forget how it feels to be hit and sign for another fight. Looking at my record, it appears I was a lot smarter when I was younger. I went six years without a fight, then I let myself be talked into giving it another try at 33 yo. I went 3-1 that year and I was hooked. Now, I guess this is a sign I should take another six years off to think before I step into another ring to fight. Thank you, and good-bye."
