(Written by Girls Friday/Results by Lookout!)

(Bazz Fight Club vs Girls Friday)

Intro:
A true welterweight super fight coming up! As one of the long term Queen's of the division Bridget Regan fights one of the new breed Hilary Rhoda. Bridget is 35 years old; stands 5'8 and holds a record of 24 wins, 21 by knockout, 13 defeats with 1 draw, she is a former 3 time FCBA welterweight champion.

Hilary is 30 years old, stands 5'11 and holds a record of 14 wins, all
by knockout and 3 defeats, she is a 1 time former FCBA welterweight
champion.
The girls meet at the press conference and square right up to each
other, Hilary was very outspoken on wanting to prove herself again
Bridget, leading to a little bad blood between these two.
Organisers have to separate the girls as they start telling each other
to try it, not wanting blood shed; they are told to go to their seats
to speak.
Hilary speaks first saying "losing to Righetti stung, I am right in
saying I was the first of my generation to lose to her, which makes it
worse but one thing I want is Bridget's name on my belt to go with
Upton, Moore and the other supposed big stars I've beaten"
Regan rolls her eyes at that statement, Hilary adds "I admit though;
Bridget was a star, history will say she is a pioneer and was one of
the most dominant women in all the FCBA"
With Bridget firing at her "and your point is what? That's my career
yes bytch" which gets Hilary smirking at her as if the punchline is
still to come.
"You seem confused by what I am getting at; that's all history, the R
& R era is dead! Gone are you and Amanda swapping titles like
friendship bracelets, this is my era, a much tougher one then you ever
lived in" Hilary says.
Bridget takes a deep breath to keep calm, before replying "I've fought
Theron, Landry, Moore and of course Righetti when we were all in our
best shapes, I'd take all of us over you and your generation" with
Hilary now snorting in derision.
She continues "where is Hannah f***ing Ferguson or Tahnee Atkinson?
these supposed super fighters now? Where was the challenges off them?
None of you have had the guts to fight me and I guess you think that I
am on the way out, you'll learn quickly not to mess with me"
With intense look on both fighters as they stare at each other,
security on hand in case it kicks off, instead the girls get up and
after a quick exchange of threats, they head off the stage knowing the
ring is where this is going to be dealt with.
Fight night, out comes Bridget with Monica Brant by her side; she is
wearing a white sports bra, trunks with black strips down the sides,
black shoes and black gloves with white thumbs, her hair is braided.
She has a stern look on her face as she heads to the ring, banging her
gloves together as this is the most she has been pissed off by an
opponent in the build up to a fight in a long while.
Stepping into the ring, she gives the crowd a quick wave and then
starts to warm up with Monica drilling her, knowing how big this is
going to be.
Now out comes Hilary with Taryn Terrell and Eva Carneiro by her side,
her eyes firmly locked onto the ring and her opponent as she knows
this is a career defining fight.
She is marching down to the ring wearing a black sports bra, trunks
with her 'Queen Slayer badge on (A white crown with a sword going down
it) black gloves and shoes, with her own hair braided.
Climbing into the ring; she raises her fists to the crowd, before
beginning to warm up, though her and Bridget still have their eyes
locked in an intense stare though.
That doesn't stop as they come together, getting right into each
others faces as they try to shove the other back with their bodies,
the referee needing to pry them apart already.
Asked to touch gloves; there's a moment where it looks like they might
start swinging as their arms raise up, but they do touch a glove
together and jog back to their corners.
Once back and the referee has sighed a breath of relief, the bell is
rung to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters, testing each other out with their jabs in the
early going and finding tough defences, Hilary looks happy to work off
the back foot as Bridget is moving forwards to try to bridge the
distance.
Regan parries a right to get inside to land two punches to the body
and Rhoda lands a left to the top of her head as they begin to trade
in tight.
The crowd roaring as the two fighters brawl in tight, letting their
emotions it seems dictate their actions as they let their fists go.
Till Hilary finding herself being driven back a step by the smaller
fighter; nudges her back with her left and landing a right to the top
of Bridget's head.
Bridget trying to get back in tight, ends up taking a double jab off
her nose and a right clips her cheek as Hilary keeps her back.
With Bridget struggling to find another way back in as her opponent is
using impressive footwork to keep herself out of danger.
Hilary looking more defensive then she ever has looked, maybe the
defeat to Amanda Righetti is still on her mind as she fights on the
outside, keeping Bridget back with straight punches aimed at her head.
Late in the round; Bridget ducks a left cross and comes up with an
overhand right that knocks Hilary back a step, Hilary stuck behind her
guard as Bridget forces her backwards with her punches digging into
the sides of the bigger brunette.
The bell rings with the fighters bumping shoulders as they go to their
corners, Taryn telling Hilary "come on babe! You started well but we
both know you can beat Bridget without hiding"
Hilary looking put out by that comment, banging her gloves together as
she stares at her opponent, whose been staring at her all the time
she's been cleaned up by her corner.
Round 2:
Coming together early; they start trading at the ring centre, going
toe to toe as Hilary looks to have taken her coached words to heart.
Bridget shoves her way to the inside, landing three punches into the
abs of Hilary to make her groan out, with Bridget keeping in tight to
shove Hilary onto her heels.
That leads to Hilary being forced onto the ropes, covering up as
Bridget hammers away at her, the body is the main target of Regan as
she has her head down.
Hilary shoves Bridget back to open up space, snapping a straight into
the nose of Bridget to start forcing her back across the ring.
Both fighters trading hard punches near the ring centre till they
separate to take a moment to reset and work out what to do next.
Bridget makes her decision quicker as she snaps a jab under the chin
of Hilary and lands a right under her ribs causing her to loudly
grunt.
Once more Hilary is stuck on the defensive as Bridget looks really up
for hurting Rhoda, digging at the abs of her opponent to open her up
to a left hook that knocks Hilary into a corner.
The round ends with Hilary looking pissed off, stomping back to her
corner to argue with Taryn, while Bridget smiles on the way back to
her corner.
Bridget nods to Monica, telling her "what the hell is the bull around
her" pointing at Hilary, "I've got her worked out already!" Shouting
it so everyone in the ring can hear it, maybe trying to get into the
head of her opponent.
Round 3:
Heading out their corners to the ring centre; trading single punches
as they circle early on, with Bridget moving her head more to dodge
the punches aimed at her head.
Before she moves to the inside with a right under the ribs of Hilary
making her opponent cry out, Bridget driving her onto her back foot
again.
Hilary looking frustrated as she is pinned behind her guard again,
Bridget grunting with effort as she hammers away at the gloves of her
bigger opponent.
The actress is smirking as she uses her jab to keep Hilary on the back
foot and lands a right hook up top to knock her onto the ropes.
The younger fighter clinching up with Bridget, who can be heard
taunting her with "come on coward! Fight me bytch!" As she is clearly
getting to Hilary judging by her expression and red face.
Separated; Hilary comes back at Bridget with several wild thrown
punches that miss and Bridget counters with punches landing off the
lips of her opponent till she busts the bottom lip of Hilary.
That puts Hilary back behind her guard as Bridget pounds her back to a
corner, Bridget hammers the body of her opponent, then snaps her head
back with a straight when Hilary tries to open up.
As the bell rings; it's another dominant round for Bridget as she
smiles over at Monica, while Hilary wipes blood from her lips, making
her look even more upset.
Sitting on her stool; Hilary needs a pep talk from Taryn, who tells
her "keep your head up, you know you can beat her so don't look at me
with those puppy eyes!"
Round 4:
Bridget looks to herd Hilary back again early, but Hilary is happy to
meet the challenge of her opponent it seems, leading to another fiery
exchange near the ring centre.
The dominant Bridget does manage to land two cross punches to the face
of Hilary to drive her back a step, with a follow up of two rights
into the abs of her rival to force some more gasps out of Rhoda.
But as she looks to build on it; Hilary catches her across the top of
her head with a right cross, then moves into space to take a moment to
reset.
Bridget keeps the pressure on, landing a barrage of punches onto the
gloves of her opponent to keep her stuck on retreat mode.
With Regan keeping on the attack with her punches coming down to the
body of Rhoda now, that leaves her open to a counter attack though,
one Hilary takes with a right cross that turns the head of Bridget.
The fight turns slightly when Hilary lands a left hook to allow her to
start powering Bridget back towards the ropes for the first time in
the fight.
Hilary lands a double jab to the nose of Bridget to open up a cut on
the bridge, that annoys Regan into fighting back hard.
It leads to a grandstand finish to the round, the girls ripping hard
shots across each others faces and to the body, sweat and blood flies
off both fighters.
Once the bell rings, both fighters smile as they enjoyed battering
each other, getting to their corners and sitting down on their stools,
blood drips onto their busts from their different cuts with corner
teams working to clean them up.
Bridget admits "she has guts I'll give her that, maybe she is just
plain stupid though" winking to Monica, before she winces as her nose
is patched up.
While in the other corner; Hilary knows that she is behind on the
scorecards, but she is looking like she has hope after a goof finish
to the round, her body is looking reddened though, is it becoming too
late for a comeback?
Round 5:
Bridget looks to keep the pressure on Hilary by keeping in tight, that
leads to the fighters trading single punches in close range to start
the round.
The older fighter slams two punches to the sides of Hilary, but she
takes a straight onto her bloody nose and gets hit with a left hook to
make her back off.
But Hilary keeps at her with two straight punches knocking the head of
Bridget back, with Bridget forced behind her guard as a flurry of
punches are sent towards her head.
A right uppercut gets through the gloves of Bridget to open her up to
more pounding punches to her bloody nose to knock Regan onto the
ropes.
Bridget clinches up with Hilary; this being the first time she looks
in any real trouble as Hilary now taunts Bridget "you're all talk
s***!"
The referee breaks them apart; with Bridget coming back into the face
of Hilary with a straight to her lips and a left to her body.
Now the older fighter is able to push Hilary back a few steps, but she
takes a right hook that knocks some spit out of her mouth as she left
herself too open up top.
Hilary opens up on Bridget with a barrage that knocks the head back of
Bridget and makes her stumble onto the ropes.
With Rhoda keeping her pinned onto the ropes, slamming her punches off
the gloves of Regan, who looks to be worried by the assault she is
under.
Late in the round; Bridget is able to clinch up, holding tightly as
the girls grapple on the ropes and the bell rings to end the round
with the referee prying the girls apart.
Staring at her each, both have been hurt in this fight and they are
looking at the damage they've done, then head back to their corners.
Both needing to be patched up, their faces swelling up but they still
want a piece of each other, stepping up before the bell ready to go
again.
Round 6:
Meeting at the ring centre; they start off trading measuring jabs as
neither wants to make a mistake, this plays into Hilary's fists as the
bigger fighter boxes happily off the back foot as Bridget is letting
her somewhat off the hook compared to the early rounds.
Bridget stepping inside to land a right to the body of Hilary, but
takes a straight onto her bloody nose to make her cry out.
A follow up right hook puts Bridget onto the back foot; AN UPPERCUT
FOLLOWS UP THAT ROCKS REGAN WITH A LEFT HOOK FINISHES THE JOB OF
PUTTING DOWN BRIDGET TO HER BACK!
The referee begins to count 1...2..3...4 Bridget stirs as she turns
towards the ropes and tries to pull herself up 5...6...7..8 but her
grip slips as she is too dazed and 9....10 she is counted out!

Winner Hilary Rhoda KO Round 6

After:
A great comeback for Hilary after a terrible middle part of the fight,
the Bazz corner must be kicking themselves that Bridget wasn't able to
finish this when she had Hilary on the ropes.
The winner pounding her chest as she yells to the crowd "this is my
time!" Going back to what she has been saying, that the R & R era is
over and the new Generation has officially taken over.
Judging by the look of rage on Bridget's face as she sits leaning
against the ropes, she disagrees with that statement and looks like
she wants another crack at Hilary someday.
Monica helping Bridget back to her corner to patch her up, telling her
fighter "use this angry babe from now, this is still your division and
you need to prove it from now on right!" As Bridget nods.
The Bazz girls leave the ring together with a chant for Bridget
ringing out around the arena, the crowd love her and the rough patch
she is in certainly isn't going to change that.
While the Girls Friday crew all hugging each other, Taryn and Eva
telling Hilary how proud they are that she came through this fight,
even after being pushed around for so long in the fight.
Hilary getting her hand raised to a loud cheer, pounding her chest
with her free hand as she made another big statement tonight.
Leaving the ring with her corner crew; Hilary wanting this year to be
hers after taking a backseat to a degree from women like Hannah
Ferguson and Kate Upton.
