BEFORE:
The blatant self-promotion for the newest member of the VIX team a little too heavy-handed for most people’s liking, but screw ‘em, Georgia Mae Gibbs thinks, as she smiles at the HUGE-ass banner (showing off her bikini-clad body from head-to-toe) fluttering at the back of the auditorium where she’s answering pre-fight questions from the audience.


“I’m sorry, what was that you said?” Georgia clearly distracted by the sight of her own body hugged in pink bikini, flaunted for all to see (and we can hardly blame her), but that earns a scoff and scorn from her opponent tonight - Ms Bruna Lirio, who’s leaning back in her chair just waiting for her turn to speak. 


“Heh. You’re easily distracted, no? Maybe I should place a mirror in my corner so you can concentrate on kissing your own ass, blondie?” 


The room erupts in laughter, but Georgia merely responds with a small smile at one corner of her mouth, before continuing to answer the original question.


“We’re kind of equal in height and weight. That’s why management thought this might be a good fight. And I agree.” She turns to Bruna, who’s still shaking her head at the other end of the table. “I like almost everything about her… especially her sense of humour and stellar personality. We’ll see who’s laughing at the end of the fight...”


Awkward silence from the crowds as they wonder if Georgia means what she’s saying or is merely trying to get under Bruna’s skin with some reverse psychology. Regardless, it seems to be working. Bruna sitting up finally, looking confused, before replying:


“Enough with the talk, blondie b*tch,” she mutters in her thick Brazilian accent. “Let’s get you beat up and shipped home.” 


The venue for this CBAD bout is none other than VIX Headquarters and Gym, the traditional home of our Scouting Mission cards and where Georgia herself found herself signing a contract after her very first fight. Now, girls in similar fight attire at opposing ends of the ring: Georgia in dark-blue bikini top, black/white trunks, donning red gloves. Bruna in black top (sports bra), white trunks, bunching together yellow gloves. The ref sounds the bell and here we go! 


ROUND 1:
Bruna coming in close for comfort, surprising Georgia, who’s used to fighting from afar especially in the early rounds. Now her cute nose getting punted in by errant right hands, and Georgia forced to cover up to defend, only to allow Bruna more straight hands into her body. Georgia using those legs though to evenly match the brunette’s advance, negating her close quarters punches later in the round with dissuading jabs of her own to her face. Good round for Bruna though as she takes her foe for a ride and stays through to her initial threats. 


ROUND 2:
Georgia pounding on both sides of her own head in between rounds in order to wake herself up. F*ck this new girl if she thinks she can make a fool out of her. Bruna still smiling at winning the first round, doesn’t expect the blonde to be the one now barreling towards her all of a sudden, until it’s too late - right hand crashes into her mouth and up the nose as she pulls her guard up a bit too late. UGH. Bruna’s eyes watering as more blows land on her nose and lips. She tries backtracking, face turned to one side in order to stop the blows from coming, but her weaving not enough. Georgia coming in close, looping a snap uppercut to the jawline - WHAP into the chin, then burying fists into the belly over and over in quick-fire action, to stack Lirio up and run away with the points. Bruna panting heavily as she makes it out alive by clinching herself forward. Both girls now digging fists into each other’s lean frames as they jostle about on the ropes and try and push each other forward and back. The round ends with a nice pivot to the newest member of the VIX team, who’s found her mojo back and intends to keep it that way.


ROUND 3:
Lirio, however, has other plans. The girls now at one round a piece, but showing hesitation as we start the third. Bruna coming in for a barrage of her own, making Georgia recoil by instinct, only to have the brunette skip backwards suddenly or to the side, using a feint to punish the blonde in the stomach and chest when Georgia walks right into it. After the third time this happens, Georgia huffs in irritation, decides to rush forward with a flurry of jabs that land on the face and then the body. Lirio covering up, decides it’s time to cash in and run, and she manages to evade the blonde’s attacks for the rest of the round and lets the time run out. Smart cookie, this Brazilian girl, and the result is she manages to take the round by close margin, leaving Georgia panting hard on the ropes as she expends herself chasing at air.


ROUND 4: 
Bruna charges when the bell rings, knows this is her chance to put her opponent away. There’s a wild exchange in the middle of the ring as the girls take turns slamming fists into each other’s faces, then clamping hooks into each other’s bodies. Tummies jerking left and right from the unblocked blows, with both girls too focused on dishing out punishment instead of protecting themselves. It’s a classic rookie mistake and sooner or later, one lady has to give ground. In this case, it’s Lirio who breaks first, gradually taking more shots to the midsection then she’s giving out, now being driven backwards to the ropes as Georgia makes her fists work into overdrive. At the end of the round, Gibbs is pinning her foe to the ropes, one hand stuffed into Lirio’s belly over and over again in some wild brawling action that goes terribly wrong for the Brazilian!


ROUND 5:
OUCH! What a wild brawl that last round! Girls eager to get back into the thick of it, but it looks like Lirio’s bent over slightly, stomach bruised and showing signs of abuse. Here comes Georgia, ZERO mercy in her eyes. For such a gorgeous, heavenly face, she’s anything but, as she comes crashing straight into Bruna, both fists already long primed and slammed into the chest and body. Both girls go crashing back into the turnbuckle, with Bruna shocked, livid and panic in her eyes, and for the first minute she fights back like a wildcat cornered, stunning Georgia in the head repeatedly and even making her squeal with some hard shots to her breasts. But the blonde not to be denied her win, not when it’s her first fight officially under the VIX label - she’s fully aware of all the eyes on her in the VIX headquarters, and she’s fighting like she’s got everything to prove and lose at the same time. Georgia just pounding away with all her remaining strength, as fists crash and pound into Bruna’s body with reckless abandon. When the Brazilian can’t take it anymore, she slumps forward into waiting arms, and the Vixen STILL isn’t done: uppercut after uppercut into the belly sealing the kiss, jerking the poor girl’s body in half like a rag doll. Final blow up into the chin is a mere formality as Georgia allows Bruna to collapse face first into the canvas. There’s no need for a count out in this case, ladies and gentlemen… 


Official Decision: Georgia Mae Gibbs defeats Bruna Lirio via KO5!


AFTER:
Georgia Mae Gibbs certainly doesn’t disappoint - she’s spent, of course, but adrenaline still coursing through her veins as she celebrates with a WHOOP and fling of her arms around Head Trainer Corey Saucier’s neck, giving him a tight congratulatory hug. A good win for sure for the rookie, but make no mistake… against another rookie. Only time will tell how well Georgia plays with the big girls in this arena.


As for Lirio, she’s unfortunate victim of collateral damage. The Brazilian looking sultry as she’s slumped in corner, but looks eager to fight again in the ring one day judging from the look of contempt for Georgia celebrating at the other corner. For now, no acknowledgement or show of sportsmanship from Gibbs as she completely ignores the trash, the blonde only concerned with leaving a path of bodies in her wake and has little time for making any friends...
