BEFORE:
After getting herself humiliated in front of thousands of fans the last time Felicity fought in the ring, the Star Wars starlet is ready to secure a comeback here tonight against Aussie sensation and S-Club 7 alumnae, Rachel Stevens.

“It was personal, what Emilia did to me in front of all my fans. I can't let it happen again and mark my words when I say this isn't the end between us,” Jones remaining stoic at the pre-fight conference.

Tonight she does battle with arguably a veteran of the ring, although Stevens facing her fair share of trouble recently herself.

“I’m glad to get a chance to fight. Period.. Even if it means beating down a rookie to prove I’ve still got what it takes.”

Girls stand face-to-face at the dial, lean bodies doing nothing to betray their actual age. Nonetheless, either lady mature enough to offer respect to the other, shaking hands before heading to the ring for their final prep. Felicity in black cloth bikini, cute little bows tied in different directions top versus bottom, choosing a pair of dark blue gloves as her team tightens the strings. Rachel going for a light grey beach bikini, showing off plenty of skin and donning red gloves to close off the outfit. Referee rings the bell and here we go with ten rounds of Fly-action!

ROUND 1:
Girls circle with steady movement, cautious jabbing at the guard leaves much to the imagination with this slow start of the second match. Don’t think it’s either girls’ age coming to haunt them early - just their personal styles. Felicity having learnt not to be overzealous and Stevens equally unsure about what to expect early on from her new opponent. Towards the last minute though they pick up the tempo, Felicity jumping inwards on sudden occasions and landing multiple clean shots to the face and tummy, frustrating Stevens before she can swing back any counter-blows. Felicity already back to original position, grinning behind gloves. Jones takes the first round in his manner - it looks like she’s been training hard and diligently implementing her game plan since her last fight went south.

ROUND 2:
Rachel Stevens determined to frustrate that plan, however. She hangs back in the next round, lets Jones come to her instead. Telltale signs of Felicity’s offensive strategy clear as day, and when Jones’ betrays movement of advancing on her, Rachel times her shots a little quicker, with a little more anticipation, and it works - Felicity stunned when her own punches land on forearms, before her face impacted by one, two, three hands from Stevens. And *still* she doesn’t seem to learn her lesson... Felicity still coming forward until Rachel keeps up the pressure, harassing till the end of the round with unabated jab jab jab at face and body. It seems like Stevens has broken the brunette’s code - what game plan will Felicity have now to stop the external bleeding?

ROUND 3:
Felicity’s new answer? Raw power. She surprises Rachel early in the third by meeting her head on, absorbing a couple of light blows to the head but then ROARS back with a tight hook that rattles the Aussie singer. Rachel’s expression says it all - like getting hit by a freight truck by that shot, realising there’s surprising power hidden in the Brit’s sprung up body as she lets loose again and has to absorb another powershot, this time forcing her back into the ropes. Rachel turtles at the oncoming onslaught, with Felicity ignoring the arms and instead plunging lefts and rights into her lean body. Stevens holding on between the gruntings by clinching up, and spends the last minute in damage control mode as she tries to wrestle with Jones on the ropes to negate more punishment. Regardless, when the bell rings it’s clearly Felicity’s round.

ROUND 4:
We’ve got to give it to Stevens though - she knows how to adapt to her opponent’s tactics. Start of the fourth and as expected, Felicity charges in again to dish out more. Stevens however has other plans, skirting away and not letting herself get within punching distance, adapting to the Brit’s brawling attitude with her own evasive tactics, then switching to hit-and-run, spray-and-pay jabbing as she lets her opponent run recklessly in her direction, side-steps to avoid, then strikes at her face and body. Jones understandably frustrated - her attacks barely landing and now back to square one when another straight hand crunches into her cheek. Last minute of the round and finally she decides to stop the reckless charges. Both girls circle and close distance slowly, breathing hard, with Rachel testing out more jabs but not landing as often any longer. Felicity more deliberate and focused, managing to score with quick flick flick into Rachel’s nose, but more to show everyone that she’s still in this fight than to hurt Stevens. Looks like both girls still have a long way to go in order to bring the other to bear.

ROUND 5:
Rachel falling back on what’s worked in the past: using her feet to come in swinging with both hands, scoring and scaring, then getting out of the way of Felicity’s return hands. Felicity herself realising the irony of this sequence, with her opponent using her own earlier strategy against her to now establish dominance. However, this familiarity with own rhythm allows her to time her next combo down carefully to the wire. As Rachel again jumps in to strike like a viper, Felicity is already one step ahead: arm cocked back and ready to spring forward. Moment of surprise on Rachel’s face as she realises her over-eagerness too late: Felicity’s right hand soars in and flattens her nose, then another left hand crunches in from the other side, snapping her head back painfully. UGGH! Rachel flies back in a daze, shaking her head in pain. Felicity stepping forward one foot, one swing at a time: a hook crashing into flimsy guard, advance, another fist buried into bronzed belly, advance. Then, a final uppercut stacks the Australian girl up as it lands on the jaw… SHE’S STUNNED AND SWAYING ON THE SPOT, before CRUMPLING to canvas in a heap! Referee takes one look and decides it’s over! The Aussie’s completely knocked out COLD!

Official Decision: Felicity Jones defeats Rachel Stevens via KO5!

AFTER:
An impressive performance tonight from Felicity Jones. Though the Brit actress may be still testing her sea legs, there's nothing like silencing the critics with a fifth round knockout of a veteran like Stevens.

Rachel pouting slightly in corner, slumped back and taking deep breaths from the exertion. We don't want to be premature but perhaps the Aussie darling’s past her prime in 2018. This sorry sight’s not stopping Felicity from celebrating though, giving a refined British wave to the audience at four corners of the ring, like the Queen of the UK herself showing off her status of royalty.

And that concludes the second bout of the evening. I have it on good word that we’ve raised a good $100,000 so far already out of the gate receipts and betting lines alone, so keep it up folks!
