(Girls Friday vs Foxfire Atlantic Boxing)

Intro:
Brazil vs France in the lightweight division as Alessandra Ambrosio
fights Malika Menard on the Crossover PPV.
Alessandra is 36 years old, stands at 5'9 1/2, her record stands at 12
wins, all by knockout and 3 defeats.
Malika is 3 years old, also stands at 5'9 1/2 and holds a record of 20
wins, 15 by knockout and 8 defeats, she's a former BBU lightweight
champion.

Before the fight, both girls met up at the press event, a tense
staredown as the girls go nose to nose, before they turn and head to
their tables.
Alessandra is told to speak first, her warm smile greeting the crowd
of journalists as she says "well I've had my vacation" winking as she
speaks about not having a fight last month on the PPV.
She changes the subject to Malika "jokes aside I have to be honest, I
missed out on a few things in the BBU, things I may still correct
someday I might add, one of course being the BBU lightweight title
itself, while there were fighters I wanted badly, Malika being one of
them"
Finishing her statement with "Malika will be a tough proposition but
welcome to my knockout party babe, it's the best nice sleep you've had
in your life" winking to Menard.
Malika smirking as she replies with help from a translator "haha so
you have been wanting to fight little me, you could have said anytime
as I know you are a good boxer, but I'm better"
Alessandra nodding with a smile as Malika adds "I've always wanted to
do these crossovers before, now I'm fighting both sides of the
Atlantic and proving I'm the cream of the crop"
She finishes by saying "one win here and you never know, I may
suddenly be in demand round here, I am La Grande Malika after all"
Both girls are brought back together, smiling as they look each other
up and down, Alessandra asking "so we wanted each other then?" Malika
answering "yep" in French as both chuckle and shake hands.

Fight night, Alessandra comes out first with Lauren Berlingeri and Eva
Carneiro with her, she is wearing a yellow bikini and gloves, her
brunette hair pulled back into a ponytail.
She gives the crowd her belly dancing entrance with a warm smile, the
crowd loving it as Alessandra waves and begins her walk down to the
ring.
Climbing into the ring, Alessandra pumps her fists to the fans as she
heads to her corner, smiling as she warms up with Lauren.
Out comes Malika, she has Sophia Myles with her as she wears a navy
blue bikini and gloves, her own brunette hair is in a ponytail too.
She walks down to the ring calmly, shaking her arms to keep them loose
as she focuses on the ring, nodding to some fans of hers at ringside.
She climbs into the ring and bows to each side of the ring, nodding to
Alessandra before she heads to her corner to go through her routine.
Both are brought to the ring centre, no smiles now, both staring at
each other hard, no malice behind those stares, they want to win so
badly though and continue their journeys.
Asked to touch gloves, the girls respectfully do so, jogging back to
their corners ready to fight, the referee signals for the bell to
begin 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the girls up on their toes, they test each others defences
out as they move around the other, Malika looking the sharper early on
with her punches and movement.
Alessandra steps forwards more aggressively to catch Malika with a
right cross and a left to the body, pushing Menard back a step.
But she misses with a follow up right as Malika steps back and lands a
double jab, then she moves quickly forwards to add a right to the body
and a left up top.
Alessandra being backed up by Malika, whose giving the Brazilian a
taste of her power, pressing her back a few steps with some nice body
shots.
But Ambrosio steps back to create space and as Malika misses with a
straight, she steps back in to land a two punch combo to the cheeks of
the French model.
Both fighters end up in tight trading, Alessandra looks to be backing
up Malika towards the ropes, the tough Menard takes the punches well
and moves away from Ambrosio as she is getting nearer the ropes.
As Alessandra tries to press Malika back, instead she has a right
cross parried and eats a straight to her nose and a left hook soon
follows.
Alessandra shaking it off, but the later part of the round is mostly
Malika, showing impressive footwork that helped get her the BBU
lightweight title last year.
She lands a right to the cheek of Alessandra and two body shots to
each side at the end of the round, Malika bouncing on her toes as she
heads back to her corner with a smile etched onto her face.
Alessandra doesn't look too worried, she knows she probably lost that
round, but she gave Malika several things to think about.
Round 2:
Both fighters come out more quickly, both head hunting as they circle
the other, Malika’s hand speed again giving her a slight early
advantage as Alessandra looks on the defensive.
That changes as Malika tries to come forwards with a right, Alessandra
leans out the way and landing a counter right of her own to the lips.
Both fighters land some good straight shots, again though Alessandra
times a right to parry and snaps two hooks to the cheeks of Malika to
cause her to groan out loudly.
As Malika covers up and takes a step back, Alessandra keeps in tight
though, working the body of the French girl to press her back towards
a set of ropes.
Malika having to fight back, snapping two punches into the face of
Alessandra to slow her assault down, both girls plant their feet to
trade.
After they connect with several hard shots across the others face,
Malika goes to land a right hook that Alessandra ducks under a lands
an overhand right.
Malika stumbles back a step and has to cover up as Alessandra presses
her back, the Brazilian model hammering the arms of her opponent.
Alessandra lands a straight through the guard to knock Malika towards
a corner, but Menard like a cat, springs back at her opponent with
both swinging wildly.
Not long left in the round, Malika starting to back up Alessandra,
till she takes a hard right flush on her cheek, then it's Alessandra
pushing Malika back as they go back and forth with time ticking away.
The bell rings with both fighters grinning as they turn back to their
corners, their coaches not as pleased as they clean up both fighters
marked up faces, knowing that this is very close.
Round 3:
The fighters trade single punches early on, Malika moving more quickly
around Alessandra, knowing she can't be stuck in front of her
opponent.
Alessandra misses with a left cross as Malika slips under and comes
back with a left hook that catches Ambrosio to turn her head.
Malika pushing Alessandra back with body shots, working her abs and
moving back when Alessandra tries to catch her coming.
But Alessandra does catch her with a double jab as she comes in to try
to land a left cross, Malika trying to get back to long range.
Alessandra keeps in close and soon the girls are trading in tight
again, both working the others body, then trying to sneak uppercuts to
the others chin that instead miss as the girls separate.
Both circling as they measure each other up, Malika again catching
Alessandra with the cleaner shots as she literally beats her to the
punch.
Till a left gets parried by Alessandra and she lands a left hook that
turns Malika’s head, then Alessandra presses Malika back to the ropes
with a flurry of punches.
The round coming to an end as Alessandra and Malika try while the
French pageant winner is pressed onto the ropes.
Soon the round ends with Alessandra finishing strongly but Malika
looks the happier, though their coaches again look worried, both were
hoping their fighter would have had a dominant lead to build off.
Round 4:
Malika starting quickly as she dances around Alessandra with her jab
as her main weapon, looking comfortable as her opponent stays behind
her guard.
But as she goes to land a straight, Alessandra parries it aside and
lands a straight of her own to the lips of Malika, before adding
another two shots to her cheeks.
Malika trying to create that space again with her footwork, the
problem is that Alessandra is keeping in close to her, banging away to
the body and guard of her beautiful opponent.
Ducking under an attempted counter by Malika, Alessandra comes back up
and catches her with an overhand right that puts her onto her heels in
retreat.
Pressed onto the ropes, Malika covers up as Alessandra works her over
with punches up top and to the body, it's the first real sustained
dominant moment for both fighters.
Menard has to clinch up to stop being beaten on the ropes, Ambrosio
presses her onto the ropes to try and show her dominance, before the
referee pries them apart.
Malika moves back towards the centre of the ring, catching an
overexcited Alessandra coming in as the Brazilian tries to do more
serious damage.
But Alessandra is coming with wild shots and Malika easily dances out
the way of them.
The round ends with the fighters trading in the ring centre, the crowd
loving this as they step back and stare hard at each other, before
heading to their corners.
Sitting on their stools, both are starting to look beat up, their
cheeks have red marks on, bodies a pink hue as they sit and think
about how they are going to win.
Round 5:
Malika looking to get back at Alessandra, surprises her early on by
attacking straight on, she lands a double jab and a right cross to
back up her opponent as she is desperate to win.
She lands a right to the ribs of Alessandra, getting a groan from her
lips, Malika pressing Alessandra back towards the ropes.
But Alessandra plants her feet after she lands a big right across the
chin of Malika to stun her for a moment, enough to start backing her
up.
Malika nudges Alessandra back with a left to her jugs and gets into
space to shake her head, the girls trade single punches as they circle
each other.
The French girl is able to duck under a right and land two body shots
in to force a gasp from Alessandra, pressing her back towards the
ropes.
Alessandra covering up as now she is the one under a barrage of
punches, she has to clinch up to stop being assaulted.
The referee pulls the girls apart, Alessandra catching Malika with a
left cross as the fighters are told to continue.
Malika taking a step back as Alessandra comes up the centre to land
two straight punches through the guard to the nose of Menard.
Alessandra finishing the round strongly as she backs up Malika, the
bell ending the round with Menard looking frustrated, she had a great
run through most of the round, but couldn't keep it going for the full
round.
Round 6:
Both fighters looking to take control of the fight as they know this
has been a very tight contest up to now, Malika landing a jab early
and a right to the ribs.
She tries to build off that but Alessandra steps in close with both
forced to trade on the inside, working the others body and sneaking
shots up top.
Malika pushes Alessandra with her left forearm to create space, just
missing with a right hook as Alessandra expected it.
Instead as Malika tries to land a right hook, Alessandra ducks under
it and snaps her own left hook that cracks Malika on her chin.
Down goes Malika! She lands on her back with her eyes open, blinking
as she tries to clear her head, the referee counting above her as
Alessandra waits in a neutral corner.
Malika turns to her front as she pushes herself up to beat the count
at 8, shaking her head to clear it as the referee checks her over.
Allowed to continue, Malika fighting on the back foot, Alessandra
trying to land the big knock out punch, she isn't connecting as she's
coming on too quickly, Malika able to defend herself with her jab
flicking out.
Alessandra slows down as she realises her mistake, parrying a jab to
land a left cross to push Malika onto the ropes.
The French model is covering up as she takes a pounding to the body,
the round ending with Malika screaming out in frustration as she heads
to her corner, her eyes shut in pain as she sits on her stool, rubbing
her sore body.
Alessandra sitting on her stool with a smile on her face, Lauren
telling her to keep focused, she hasn't won yet, getting a nod from
Ambrosio.
Round 7:
Malika trying to fight off the back foot as she comes out, jabbing
away at Alessandra as she tries to find a way back into this fight.
Alessandra though parries a jab and just misses with a right of her
own as Malika steps back out the way, moving back with her opponent
hunting her down.
Soon though Alessandra gets to the inside as she lands two straight
punches to knock Malika’s head back and as the younger fighter tries
to land a right cross, Alessandra ducks and lands an uppercut that
puts Malika down to her back.
The referee checks on Malika, who has her eyes shut and she's knocked
clean out, the ref waving the fight off.

Winner: Alessandra Ambrosio KO Round 7

After:
Alessandra rushes to the ropes and mounts the bottom one to shout to
the crowd "another one to the list!" Raising her arms as the crowd
cheer her on another big knockout.
While the doctor is quick to rush into the ring to check on Malika,
getting the smelling salts out and waking the sleeping French woman
from her slumber.
Alessandra heads over to check on Malika, kneeling down and helping
her sit up as the girls share a grin and a tell the other that they
enjoyed the fight.
As their coaches come over, Alessandra let's Sophia to help up her
fighter and out of the ring as Lauren and Ambrosio hug each other.
Malika gets a cheer from the crowd, who appreciate the effort she put
in, Malika smiling as she knows she can make it in the FCBA with one
big win, she's getting closer with each fight.
While in the ring, Alessandra blows kisses to the crowd, her body too
sore to do much more as she gets a lot of love from her fans.
Before she steps out of the ring with her corner crew behind her, then
she heads to the back and is stopped by the press after a few words.
"Malika showed why the BBU girls are not to be taken lightly, she's a
former champion and while she couldn't take my power all night, I mean
who can" Alessandra winking at that part.
"She came out the blocks quickly, kept me guessing and showed her
toughness to get up and continue annoying me with her skills" admits
Alessandra as she smiles warmly to cameras filming these comments.
Asked about the lightweight title situation, she quickly answers "of
course I want to be the champ, after all the controversy not that long
ago, I'm happy to go back to building my skills up and I have big
fights in mind, you know beach boxing is my favourite time of year,
Lima and me would be fun but you know I fancy a crack at Bar Refaeli"
Grinning as she finishes with "I know Bar sees herself as the Queen of
the beaches, so let's find out shall we who rules the beaches" then
saunters off to her locker room with the challenge in the air.
The press show excitement on if that fight will take place, two
stunning supermodels who happen to be top 25 fighters looking to be
the best.
