Emmanuelle Chriqui vs Fiona Wade

BEFORE: Only few BBU regulars have claimed a scalp of a FCBA veteran over here in Europe so when the opportunity to fight Emmanuelle Chriqui came along, Emmerdale's Fiona Wade didn't hesitate any minute and jumped on her biggest boxing adventure to date and agreed to fight the Canadian actress under the Sundown Showdown PPV banner tonight.

According to some, Fiona is the hottest babe on the Emmerdale cast since the departure of Roxanne Pallett but Emmanuelle gives her a solid run in the exotic looks department and this fight should be a real cracker for anyone who thinks that brunettes simply do it better!
Chriqui's BBU crossover career has brought mixed results so far, she embarked on a Canadian tour fighting her fellow compatriots but after stopping Emily Rose back in March, she succumbed to both Emilie Ullerup and Sarah Gadon which raises immediate questions regarding her favorite status against Wade.

Emmanuelle Chriqui wears a red bikini set and black gloves. Raven-black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Fiona Wade wears a silver bikini set with blue trim, blue knickers and matching blue gloves. Long nightshade black hair tied in a curly ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Fiona turns up the heat from the word go and tackles the Canadian veteran to indicate she's hardly impressed by her otherwise stout resume, she jabs through Emmanuelle's guard and knocks her head back while targeting the temples with quick swings in the proccess.
Chriqui's footwork is good enough to prevent imminient trouble but the offensive execution is flawed and leaves the older brunette bouncing off Fiona's high guard repeatedly. Meanwhile the Brit keeps looping more dangerous hooks and nails the Canadian on the temples which forces Ems out to mid-distance where she can hold her own even though the artistic impression remains with the local woman.
However Wade's unable to make further progress and BBU TV's Denise van Outen reckons she'll have trouble dominating the older actress if she lets her get away from close range.

Round 2:
Chriqui uses her experience to force another hectic pursuit from the smaller brunette and remains comfortable in mid-range which in turn makes Wade look very annoyed when she finds nothing but thin air in a failed attempt to close her down.
The Canadian's mobility proves superior down the stretch and she gives the Emmerdale babe a tough lesson in the footwork department before settling into a counter-punching mode to further slow the younger opponent down.
Wade only lands the single punches in this round and eats a couple of dangerous cross routes in response but it's obvious that Emmanuelle hasn't kicked into higher gear yet even if it means she allows Fiona to secure the scorecards advantage early on.

Round 3:
There's no national Canadian pride at stake so perhaps that's why Chriqui keeps her composure after a relatively anonymous start but when Wade fails to connect with another jabbing drive early in the third, she leaps forward and nails the Brit on the jaw before blasting her against the ribcage for a good measure. Both women have strayed away from the body assault so far and the first real shot on target bends the younger brunette into a crippling hook on the jaw moments later! Ugh! Fiona loses her balance and tries to lock a clinch but Emmanuelle hauls in a right/left combo on the nose and adds another belting cross on the navel that stuffs Wade in the center of the ring. A quick switch upstairs rocks the Emmerdale woman into more spasms forcing Chriqui to pound her back to the ropes in no time. Wade can barely keep her balance and eats a mouthful of leather come the final minute when the Canadian rains punches over the top and exposes the fellow brunette's subpar resistance. Another quick hook on the liver area drops Fiona into more spasms and the bell couldn't have come any sooner to save her from a looming disaster!

Round 4:
Emmanuelle really turned it on out of nowhere in the latter stages of the previous round and now she looks set to carry on with the stalking procedure, she closes the English brunette down and clobbers her over the top to immediately drop her on the heels. Fiona gasps for air but misses the jabbing response and can't find her range while saddled on the back foot - Chriqui blasts her across the nose with a brutal left hook and tears a patch under the left eye with a quick follow up that caves the Emmerdale brunette on jelly knees. Wade didn't have much of a footwork advantage before and it only gets worse here as she gets rattled with more strikes from point-blank range and is forced back to the ropes under the strenght and precision of the Canadian's punches. Ems gets a little vocal as she rides the aggressive wave and picks off the subdued opponent straight up the middle thereafter. Fiona's head rocks back & forth and she groans out in pain while trying to hang on behind a tight earmuff.
Still, it's leaking punches alright and for the second consecutive round, the bell saves her from a looming demise! However this comes at a price as her left eye has swollen badly and Denise van Outen thinks she's seen the proud Brit swallowing some tears there as she heads back to her corner.

Round 5:
"Yeah, I'm gonna f### her up now!", Emmanuelle tells Alpha Boxing Club trainer Alyssa Milano and she roars back from her corner to connect with Fiona's otherwise pretty face seconds into the fifth. The Emmerdale brunette has nowhere to hide in the ring and since she's losing the footwork and bendiness battle, she might as well slug it out and hope for a miracle. She lands a nice hooking cross on Chriqui's mouth at first but then gets blasted with a vicious hook on the temple herself and immediately half-spins to her heels unable to plant her front (left) leg into a standard position anymore. Emmanuelle is quick to send in more aerial strikes but finally explores the one hole that was always there for the taking with Wade's defense going AWOL lately... she nails her fellow brunette on the liver AND CHOPS HER DOWN TO THE CANVAS in no time!!! Fiona just couldn 't embrace all the heat thrown at her anymore and folded like a cheap tent... she spits out her gumshield and groans her heart out... a desperate recovery effort allows her to sit on her heels at seven but then she realizes the swelling around the left eye has grown into a golf ball-size and there's just no way back form all this damage. She slides down onto her back again and the count passes her by! KO5 Emmanuelle Chriqui!!!

AFTER: "I told ya, you're going down, bytch!", Ems gloats over the fallen brunette for a while but then heads back to coach Milano and tries to calm herself down before accepting the official decision.
By the time her arm is raised in the air, poor Fiona is left sitting on her stool and hugs her aching midsection while the BBU medical crew attends to the eye swelling.
Denise van Outen reckons that Chriqui didn't come to BBU to simply wreck havoc among the Emmerdale cast but a potential fight with Roxanne Pallett would have sold out the house anywhere in this country so maybe there's some hope left for that blockbuster affair even if the Cumbrian girl is busy with her FCBA career right now.
However even the BBU TV's lead anchor is unable to reveal Chriqui's imminient plans, Alpha manager Jennifer Connelly is unavailable for comment tonight and Emmanuelle herself handles the press office day-to-day duties outside of extending her active boxing tenure in Europe.
Coach Milano claims she's not authorized to comment on the stable's schedule but doesn't confirm the Wade fight being a one-off either so there's every chance we get to see the Montreal-born brunette in future outings sooner rather than later. And what exactly is Samia Ghadie doing these days anyway?
