Maisie Williams vs Juno Temple
(Girls Friday vs Foxfire Atlantic Boxing)
(4-2, 4 KO vs 4-3, 4 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: It's been a very busy week for Maisie Williams as she's fought the one and only 'Fittest Flyweight of the FCBA' Vanessa Hudgens on Monday only to fly back to the UK immediately afterwards and enter tonight's BBU PPV as the heads-up favorite against a genuine FCBA tweener Juno Temple.
Denise van Outen thinks that Maisie could be well poised to become the unofficial BBU strawweight champion as she's got the upside over Lorna Fitzgerald and Lucy Fallon to name the most obvious suspects but apparenly her boxing career is about to skyrocket beyond BBU's salary cap sooner rather than later.
One simply doesn't enjoy an American market debut against someone like Vanessa Hudgens without being piloted into future international stardom!

Back to the Cardiff Arena though where the Temple of Juno is allegedly ready to take over the command.
The pesky Londoner couldn't handle Shenae Grimes on her FCBA comeback earlier this month but she's got more than enough to handle the pint-sized Williams tonight! The goddess character play has been pursued by the Foxfire Atlantic entourage to distance the blonde from all the mere mortals but Maisie is clearly not impressed by this gimmick: "If you're the new goddess then why I don't see you on TV lately? I mean the real hit shows like uhmm.. Game of Thrones? A goddess who can't swim with the sharks is well, an impostor!"
Juno finds this impudence annoying, but not enough to be angry... yet: "You will learn it is not wise to taunt a Goddess."
To which Maisie says: "I don't want to taunt you, your Goddessness--I just want to knock you out."
Gotta love this traditional flyweight bickering!

Maisie Williams wears a dark green bikini set with silver trim and silver gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves.
Juno Temple wears a red bikini set and black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Juno's on a recovery mission, losing to Vanessa Hudgens is no reason to be ashamed of but losing to Shenae Grimes?
The strength of schedule speaks against the blonde and she just rips into Maisie's body from the word go trying to upstage the high-flying prospect from the Newcastle-based stable.
Even if Maisie expected this blitz, she just doesn't move fast enough to avoid it and bends forward while Juno wrecks havoc in her midsection! Juno leans on her rival so much that she almost head-butts her in the proccess but the offensive rush forces the Game of Thrones stalwart to yield real estate and allows the blonde to pick her off along the ropes down the stretch. Maybe it's the jet lag or outright fatigue following the Hudgens test but Williams just isn't at the races during the opener and gets shut down in the corner with Temple raining punches like skittles.
She lacks the truly big punch to rattle the brunette off her comfort zone but the sheer intensity of her attacks do the job and leave her as a clear winner of that opening skirmish.

Round 2:
Girls Friday's coach Lauren Berlingeri tries to fuel Maisie's comeback as things tend to spiral out of control in the 110 lbs division quickly; Maisie tries to slug it out from the inside and pays back the midsection favor by clipping the blonde on the jugs and drilling her liver area shortly afterwards.
Apparently Juno didn't anticipate anything but a lukewarm resistance from the fatigued brunette so she gets caught napping with the body assault and caves in on her heels when Maisie rips through her breadbasket and outworks her in close range.
Both girls slug it out in all-or-nothing fashion and Denise van Outen reckons Maisie won't try to drag this one out since she's into overtime mode based on the Hudgens marathon already.
Will Juno be happy to see out Maisie's rush before she can wear her down late?
That's not in her DNA either and the spirited bashing leaves both girls breathing heavily at the bell with no clear winner in this phone booth-like dust up.

Round 3:
More of the same in the third, this is the flyweight slugging at it's best and Maisie scores the meaningful punches when she hammers Juno's liver area and apparently wants to chop her down in classic deadmeat fashion. However Foxfire Atlantic's coach Sophia Myles has seen a thing or two around the boxing globe and forces a change of tactics from the blonde who drops the gruesome body assault plan and WHACKS Maisie over the top to tear a bloody patch across her nasal ridge come the second minute.
The aerial punches come thick & fast thereafter and Williams' head snaps back repeatedly as she loses the momentum and aches out her troubles.
Juno drives her to the ropes with more brutally effective strikes upstairs but the brunette swings back right at the bell and nails the blonde on the mouth which prompts a loud spasm from the Londoner.
Ugh! Both girls bump into each other moments later and Maisie has the courage to dig one into Juno's pride: "Where's your temple at, kid?"

Round 4:
Juno rushes in for another close range assault and fakes a low approach only to swing over the top... but Maisie doesn't bite into the trick and SMACKS her with a brutal left hook that finds the nose and half-spins the blonde to the side! Ugh! Here comes Maisie!
She whacks the Londoner on the ribcage and bullies her onto the ropes where she clobbers her on the body - ignoring the desperate earmuff in the proccess.
Juno's temple rattles dramatically as she soaks up a nasty beating and bellows out even deeper on the ropes. Williams ravages the midriff and my oh my, she carves visible bruises on that toned breadbasket to the point poor Juno scowls in pain so loud it even makes Denise van Outen feel sorry for her.
But there's no stopping the Maisie flood as we enter the final minute and coach Myles has lost her cool wholesale as she urges the embattled blonde to slug herself out of danger.
A yelping Juno manages to nick a couple of uppercuts in between the flurry of Maisie punches but another vicious hook on the mouth stuns her into a standstill on the bell and that's a terrible round for the goddess!

Round 5:
Williams smells blood and wants to finish the blonde off before the Hudgens/plane flight fatigue really kicks in...
she rushes in for the kill and finds Juno sidestepping away from the hooking approach that was supposed to send the goddess packing... Oi, Maisie... the dark-haired prospect loses her balance and wobbles forward straight into a half-uppercut counter-strike that drills her solar plexus and embeddes into a flurry of uppercut follow ups on the chin.
Juno is hurt but she's still the goddess!!! She wraps Williams into a leather galore from point-blank range to leave the Game of Thrones babe scowling her heart out until a zipping cross on the solar plexus destroys the guard for good and cripples the youngster into more spasms... AND SHE BLASTS HER ON THE JAW moments later to finally pull the plug on a week-long journey of flyweight slugging... DOWN GOES MAISIE!!!!
The pint-sized vixen just couldn't embrace that last series and crashes down on her backside before rolling over on her left size... she tries to get up but can barely push herself off both arms and points at her chest amid desperate attempts to inject more air into her lungs... these two spikes on the solar plexus seemed to have broken the physical limits of the Bristol girl and she chokes on some tears when the REFEREE COUNTS HER OUT!!! High drama here in the flyweight bash but the goddess lives on to secure the win!!! KO5 "Temple of Juno".

AFTER: Mind over matter stuff from the blonde actress who looked all out of sorts in the fourth only to spring back into life in the next when she landed a couple of really cruel punches and triggered instant physical demise from the highly-touted opponent. Maisie is still a kid on the rise and Denise van Outen just doesn't like the Girls Friday schedule here.
Vanessa Hudgens, a trip across the Atlantic and Foxfire-backed Juno Temple all in the same week? That's rich even by FCUK standards! Heck, Katie Price would be ridiculed out of her mind for booking such a run for one of her girls down in Brighton! Was it the BBU PPV appearance fee? Maisie's confidence or just plain ignoring Juno's value courtesy of the 'Temple' gimmick? All in all, the circumstances played against the Bristol brunette and things could only get worse for her as she's scheduled to make another trip across the Atlantic to square off on the Fight Night Live card in the first week of October.

Denise van Outen thinks that Williams would be favored to outlast Temple without the Hudgens fight and urges both Foxfire and Girls Friday to book a rematch between these two in more suitable conditions.
However the blonde actress suggests she might look beyond Maisie now: "I don't care what her excuse is! You don't mess with the Goddess! She's very quiet right now and I think she realizes how big her mistake to underestimate me was! She will have to EARN another chance to fight me! So says Temple of Juno!"

Final result: Juno Temple def. Maisie Williams KO5.
