Torrey Devitto vs. Hunter King
Pretty Little Liars vs The World

Results: Lookout Writing: Front Street & Archer

Torrey: 33 YO, 5’7 (1.70m), 0-1-0 since 2013, Free Agent
Hunter: 23 YO, 5’5 (1.65 m), 4-0-0, 4 KO since 2017, Front Street

BEFORE:

Devitto a girl who hasn't gotten much FCBA action, and she's clearly not happy about it. "Ridiculous," says the lovely brunette. "I'm FIVE TIMES as talented as this girl, and she's getting regular work while I sit on the sidelines! Well, tonight, when I blow her out of there, maybe people will realize which one of us should be getting the push!"

"Well," says Hunter with a shake of the head, "I'm sorry for Torrey's luck, but, if she thinks she's going to use me to take out her frustrations, she's sadly mistaken."

Torrey comes to the ring in red one piece swimsuit. Red boots and gloves. Dark hair in a simple ponytail. Hunter in a black bikini with white trim. White gloves and boots, Black laces. Blonde hair in a ponytail with a white ribbon.

ROUND ONE:

Devitto after King early. The taller woman coming forward behind the left jab very aggressively, forcing the blonde backward, immediately taking control. Torrey letting the hands go, keeping the younger woman on her back foot, making her take leather, not letting her get started. Hunter backing and covering. She's not hurt, but she can't find a way to get anything going offensively and Devitto's taking full advantage, landing with both hands to both head and body. Slowly, she works the blonde to the ropes, pins her to the cables, and then starts tossing bombs at her. Hunter clearly out of sorts as she covers up along the ropes, taking a thorough thrashing. Easy to forget that the blonde's first FCBA fight was only six months ago, but it was, and, at the moment, she's looking plenty green. She's got no answers as Devitto runs roughshod from bell to bell claiming the first wide.

ROUND TWO:

More Devitto. Torrey's clearly believes she can out-physical the blonde, and that's exactly what she plans to do. For her part, King can't get out of reverse. Torrey's determined to keep her on her back foot, and Hunter can't find a way to reverse things. As a result, the second goes pretty much the same as the first, with Devitto in drive and King in reverse. Hunter at least manages to stay off the ropes for the most part, but that's about the only positive, as the brunette controls things for another three minutes, again landing hard shot to both the head and body. Again, she doesn't hurt the younger woman, but, again, she dominates the proceedings, looking much the better fighter for every second of the round. When the bell finally rings, Devitto's grabbed a second-consecutive round wide and leads 20-18 after two.

ROUND THREE:

If King thought those six minutes with Devitto were bad, the minute she spends between the second and third with Neve Campbell is worse. The Hall of Famer's seen about enough of what she's been seeing, and she lets her charge know that in no uncertain terms. "Hold your canvas!" is the directive. And, that's exactly what Hunter does. Rather than give ground in the face of Devitto's advances, King stands and fights, banging back, giving as good as she gets. Devitto continues trying to force King back, however, and that results in several nasty firefights in the middle of the ring, with neither fighter able to create much distance on the cards. Final minute is the best King's had of the fight, though that's faint praise, of course. Hunter finally putting punches together, actually backs the taller woman up a step with a nice combination in the final seconds. At the bell, it's close to King, who's narrowed Torrey's lead to 29-28.

ROUND FOUR:

Torrey continues working forward. She's determined to bring the physical despite determined resistance from the blonde, and she's willing to take leather to give it. And, that's exactly what happens. A series of firefights develops with neither fighter able to gain an advantage, until. BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Devitto with a BLISTERING straight right and King's blown to her back! Torrey literally SKIPPING to a neutral corner as the referee begins the count. King staring up at him, watching the numbers rise. At six, she rolls to her belly, and, at nine she pushes to her feet, barely beating the count. Referee looks closely as he gives her the mandatory, but he waives the brunette forward. ON COMES DEVITTO! Torrey's immediately all in, giving the blonde a thorough thrashing, trapping her on the ropes and just throwing salvo after salvo at her looking for the 'off' switch. She doesn't find it, however. At the bell, King's a wreck, but still standing, and Devitto leads 39-36.

ROUND FIVE:

Hunter looking plenty wobbly as the fifth starts. Devitto picking up right where she left off, landing hard shot, backing the blonde up. Slowly, however, the younger woman is able to stabilize her front and begin firing back. Devitto still getting the better of things until about the half way point. Then, King begins gaining the advantage. She's landing harder, more accurate shot, and, while the brunette's able to hold canvas for awhile, slowly, the determined blonde begins backing her up. By the final minute, Devitto's on the defensive, covering up, countering in spots, but mostly taking heavy fire from the blonde, who's suddenly gotten things rolling. Final seconds see Hunter's best punch of the fight, a short right hook that shakes Devitto. At the bell, it's close, but the blonde's overcome the lead Torrey built early to grab the points close and cut the brunette's lead to 48-47.

ROUND SIX:

King pressing Torrey. She's gained a bit of an advantage and wants to exploit it. Brunette trying to slow the younger woman down, but Hunter has the geometry and the timing down now. She's putting punches together in a big way, controlling both the tempo of the round and the action. Devitto again forced to the defensive, countering as best she can, but unable to really get any offense going. About a minute in, Hunter begins heeding the shouts from Neve Campbell in her corner. "BODY!" She goes body, thumping shots just above the belt and to the ribs. Torrey gives more ground and King steps to, ROCKING DEVITTO WITH A LEFT HOOK! Torrey stumbles...directly into the path of a BOOMING RIGHT HAND and DOWN GOES DEVITTO! Torrey now flat on her back as King stalks to a neutral corner and watched. Devitto's head lolling side to side as she tries to shake the cobwebs. But, she can't do it. She's still staring up at the referee as the count passes her by! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is Hunter King!

AFTER:

King all smiles in the post-fight. "I knew I'd get her. She was all about getting in my face and trying to get big on me, but that's not going to work. You aren't going to push me around in there, and, if you try, you're going to end up exactly where Torrey did...flat on her back!"

Torrey revived and led from the ring. She looks over at the triumphant Hunter and scowls. She lost and she's not happy about it.
