ABIGAIL BRESLIN VS DANIELLE CAMPBELL

Before: “Abby won the New Blood Flyweight Tourney this year,” says Danielle Campbell in the pre-fight, “and I thought she deserved a chance at someone higher up the Flyweight Ladder. Myself, of course, and I promise her this will be an important learning experience for her.”

Abigail smiles sweetly: “You are just too nice Dani. I know exactly what you are you are doing: fattening up your record with another ‘easy’ rookie fight. Too bad I am going to spoil all that by pounding your guts into gravy.”

“Who told you a thing like that?” DC demands.

“I got a message from Vanessa Hudgens and Nina Dobrev warning me about you.” Abigail announces, “I appreciate the heads-up, but I think I can take you, Campbell and that will make my third win all the sweeter.”

“Those two have it in for me—especially Vanessa because I beat her kid sister. Nina is always looking to make trouble for the Punchers. I would suggest you not take advice from anyone at Lookout Boxinbg,” Danielle says darkly and then adds: “If you think I am going to let some little runt like you get the better of me—“

“Hey!” Abigail protests. “I may short that doesn’t mean I can’t cut you down to size and laugh while I’m doing it!”

“You won’t be laughing—you’ll be crying—because I won’t be playing along. Prepare for your first loss, Abigail—it’s coming.” Danielle snapped with irritation.

“Bring it on ‘Big Girl’—I can’t wait for the ‘tree trimming’ to start!” declared the feisty rookie,

As they enter the ring, Abigail is clad in a red bikini with a halter top that seems to be straining to contain her rather impressive rack. Abigail has white boots and gloves with red laces. Her hair is in a French braid down her back. Danielle is in a white bikini with black trim, black gloves and boots with white laces. Her hair is piled up in a top knot atop her head.

“Wow,” Danielle says looking over Abigail’s chest, “you ever consider JMD?”

“Not until I’ve learned the basics—the better to bang boobies when the time comes,” Abby purred.

“Don’t worry, teaching the basics to rookies is what I do,” Danielle assures her.

“We’ll see,” Abigail says with a shrug. “I’ve knocked out two girls so far. I’d love make you #3.”

“Dream on, runt!” DC retorts snippily and an irked Abby looks ready to lunge at her, but the referee intervenes,

“Ladies, mouthpieces in—no more talk,” the official commanded and the two young women complied.

The rest of the ring instructions proceeded smoothly. A quick touch of the gloves and the two fighters were soon back in their corners. The bell sounded.

R1: Abigail moves surprisingly quickly to center ring to meet the in-coming Danielle. Quick series of punching exchanges has Abby scoring with hard rights to the jaw that gets the attention of DC. Dani’s punches have been going into Abigail’s head, but Abby doing a good job moving her upper body to evade direct hits. Then Abby shifts to quick jabs to the face and breasts. DC answering back with jabs of her own to the rookie’s face and chest, but Abby seems able to ride them out as she counters with a new series of jaw shots. Danielle starting to get red splotches around face and pulls back to regroup. Abigail in pursuit, sinking hooks into the belly and then bringing some stinging uppercuts in DC’s bra cups. Danielle jabbing back but Abby is persistent and clearly has the more experienced young fighter on the defensive as the bell rings. Round goes to Abigail Breslin by a wide margin.

R2: Danielle scowling under the break comes out quickly and heads for Abigail with determination to bring the rookie to heel. Doesn’t work out that way as Abby is just as evasive as she was in the first round and she is putting more power into her punches to the jaw and body. The repeated heavy blows quickly take the wind out of DC’s sails and she starts stepping back behind her jab. Abby stays with Dani and works that belly just above the black trim waistband of the brunette’s bikini bottoms. DC not liking this at all, but can’t seem to get her jab on the elusive Abby with consistent impact. Dani kept on the defensive to the bell as Abby takes her second round wide.

R3: Danielle seems slower coming out this round and Abigail eagerly charges in on her, However just as Dani is coming into range, DC suddenly steps to one side and SMASHES a hard right to the side of Abby’s head. Abigail somehow stays on her feet as she recoils from the impact of the powerful shot and Dani has to scramble to get back in front of her. Abby definitely hurt by the blow, tries to cover up, but Dani is pouring on the vengeful leather to the face and head. Abby rocked back on her heel, gets her gloves up to protect her head, but now Dani feasts on those lush Breslin bra cups and her undefended belly. Abby struggling to fight backing up as her body shudders under Danielle’s punches. Abby senses she’s being guided to the ropes, fights back with the jab and scores against Dani’s face enough to block these efforts. Danielle now tries to circle around Abigail and does get in some nice heads shots when she can surprise the rookie with fast rights and lefts from unexpected directions. Abigail fighting back to the bell, but Danielle wins her first round by a wide margin. Abigail looking stunned as she goes back to her corner, Danielle allows herself a small, grim smile.

R4: Abigail more cautious this round, waiting to see what Danielle has in store for her this stanza. Dani not rushing in, circling again, popping the punches in and looking Abby over. Abigail seems to grow impatient and moves in with a flurry of punches to DC’s body. Dani hit in the breast and midsection, but fires back in answering body punching. Abby hanging in, refusing to retreat and Dani is not falling back either. Quickly becomes a grinding, short range, heaving series of body punches as the two young fighters try to break down the other’s body. The pair are looking each other in the eyes and neither wants to be the one to blink first. Crowd pleasing action as sweat soaked bodies take the wet SPLATT! of strongly driven leather gloves. This goes on and on until, slowly, but surely Danielle drives an achy-bodied Abigail back. Abby stepping back so she can use her jab more effectively and does open a cut in Dani’s right eyebrow, but Dani gets a jab into Abigail’s right eye that leaves it red and swollen at the bell. Close round, but Danielle Campbell wins it on the cards. Abigail and Danielle both breathing hard as they turn away, but Dani moving with a firmer step than the slower moving Abby.

R5: Abigail worked on by her corner during the break. She seems to come out with more speed as the new round starts, but Danielle is moving faster. Worse, Dani now has a target as she quickly pumps quick shots into Abby’s right eye. The shudder that goes through Abigail looks like an electric shock as she stumbles back in distress. Gloves are up to protect the rapidly swelling eye, but this gives Dani the opportunity to go after Abby’s torso with her arms moving like piston rods. Abby can’t get Dani off her and she is driven back into the ropes with a hook to the belly that sends her butt into the strands. Abigail hangs there as Dani just pours frenzied leather into her belly and ribs. Abby’s pawing jab is not stopping this and she seems too overwhelmed to think of clinching. ABIGAIL BRESLIN GOES DOWN. Abby’s legs give out and she falls first to her knees and then topples to one side moaning as she curls up. Danielle inspects the wreckage and then trots off to the neutral corner. Abigail just lying there in gutshot agony as the count rolls passed her and it is over!

THE WINNER: DANIELLE CAMPBELL KO5!

After: Danielle smiling broadly as Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson and Janel Parrish crowd around her in the POLP corner to congratulate her. She keeps her eye on the other corner where Abigail has been helped and is now revived. Dani heads on over and stands over the crestfallen Abby.

“I hope you’ve learned how much you don’t yet know about boxing?” DC says.

“Oh, shut up! It’s bad enough to lose, but I don’t have to listen to your lectures on boxing,” Abby snaps. She had one arm around by agonized midsection and one hand up probing her swollen right eye. “I have plenty to remember you by.”

“Poor Abby, your first taste of defeat,” Dani mocks. “How about I take you for a nice stroll around the ring so you can have your first Walk of Shame. I am sure it won’t be your last.”

Abigail glares: “I said shut up, Campbell!”

“And I say—‘Get on your feet—loser!’” Dani commands, reaching down to grab Abby by the arm.

“NOOOO!!!” Abigail cries angrily and lashes out with a wild right. It sinks dead center into Danielle Campbell’s white bikini bottoms.

Danielle lets out a startled gasp and then a wail as she turns green and her knees buckle. She collapses onto Abigail who pushes her back. Danielle lands on her butt and then curls uo in a fetal position.

“Hey, kid, good work, but you better get out of here!” Abigail’s trainer advuises as he can see Lucy, Ashley and Janel trying to get across the crowded ring to aid the fallen DC.

“He’s right! Scoot! We’ll help you!” Abigail turns and sees Vanessa Hudgens and Nina Dobrev at ringside just below her.

Abby nods and quickly slips under the ropes. Vanessa and Nina then guide her away from the ring, Meanwhile, Danielle has pulled herself up on the ropes and can be heard shouting.

“I’LL GET YOU FOR THIS BRESLIN! OOOOOOOO!!!! IT’ HURTS!!!!!I”LL GET YOU, TOO< HUDGENS!!!OWWWWWW!!!THAT’S IT DOBREV RUN AWAY! OUCHHHH!!!”

Danielle Campbell complains bitterly to Archer News reporter Skip Tracey: “Abby Breslin does not understand the etiquette of a Walk of Shame! These rookies have no respect for FCBA Traditions! I might have known two of Lookout Boxing’s biggest troublemakers would be encouraging her! Vanessa and Nina will pay for this!”

Abigail Breslin says: “You show me where it says I HAVE to cooperate with a Walk of Shame. Okay, maybe it wasn’t very nice to punch her below the belt, but she has been so conceited around me I just lost my temper. Vanessa and Nina didn’t need to help me, but they did and I do not forget a good turn. I don’t forget a bad turn either—you remember that Danielle Campbell if you think you can just come after me!”

Lookout spokesperson Michelle Trachtenberg says: “Vanessa and Nina were just trying to help out an unmanaged rookie. You know those Puncher girls would have beat her down for embarrassing Campbell (hope that didn’t spoil your plans for the evening, Dani dear). Oh no, we have no place on our roster at this time for a flyweight, but that doesn’t mean we don’t take an interest in newcomers and help out when we can.”

Actually an entertaining rookie contest with Danielle Campbell again showing her ability to dominate newcomers, in this case Abigail Breslin. Question still remains when she will start moving on to more experienced fighters and how well she will do against them.?Meanwhile, Abigail Breslin joins the crowded ranks of the unmanaged who have talent, but not the management that might get them the fights they need to develop that talent.
