VICTORIA'S SECRET WAR IN HEAVEN PRELIMINART ROUND 2

6. Lily Aldridge vs Sui He

BEFORE:
Any careful follower of the boxing action on the other side of the pond must realize that Lily Aldridge has been gearing up for her FCBA debut for some time now. Her Lioness Club management rejected the idea of Lily making her official bow on the Crossover PPV back in July but the Victoria's Secret beach boxing tournament offered too much of an upside to be ignored by the London-based stable. Since Lily is a California girl, she naturally has a large fanbase cheering her on here at Muscle Beach, CA tonight.

Not much is known about boxing skill of Aldridge's opponent however China makes a strong push for FCBA glory since both Ming Xi and Sui He have joined this VS tournament's line-up somewhat against the odds. Their compatriot Liu Wen went down to Taylor Hill last month so the pressure is on these two tonight! There's little chance any of them repeats the heroics of Hall of Famer Lucy Liu but taking Aldridge's scalp could boost Sui's market value hand over the proverbial fist!

Lily Aldridge wears a light blue bikini set and black gloves. Dark brown hair in loose waves. Sui He wears a red bikini set and yellow gloves. Long black hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

ROUND 1:
Sui is slightly taller than the American and she scores a lucky break when Lily misjudges the approach and wobbles forward after finding nothing but thin air. Sui delivers the first punch of her boxing career to nail Aldridge on the jaw which opens the floodgates all of the sudden as the younger brunette finds easy opening upstairs and rattles the local girl with a nasty combo on the nose. Lily struggles to find her feet and kicks sand all over her opponent's shins but only wobbles forward into another half-uppercut that stuns her into a desperate earmuff. That's not what the Muscle Beach fans had in the script but Sui rides the unexpected wave and pummels the American with more jabs even though the production dwindles as time goes by. Still, she leaves Lily covered behind a tight guard and dominates the final minute where she bunny hops around her and picks off with supreme confidence. She shouts back at the jeering audience and Lily gives her a proper death stare at the bell however she's barely landed a punch in the opener and nobody knows a thing about He's defense here so far.

ROUND 2:
Sui fancies her chances for another roasting of the highly-touted American and displays firm belief in her supreme reach however Lily's learned her lessons and a quick advice from coach Claudia Schiffer allows her to weather the storm during a frantic opening minute pursuit from the Chinese model. Lily has shown exceptional movement back in the BBU and the loose surface only plays into her advantage as Sui just can't match her and almost tweaks her ankle a couple of times as she tries to connect with her aerial attack. She gasses out a little and finally thinks better off it but this is the moment Lily was waiting for as she jumps into a counterpunching drill and beats the taller brunette for a quick hook on the jaw! Ugh! Speed truly topples size here and Sui's head swivels under the subsequent follow up, her defense gets badly exposed and Lily turns up the wick by blasting her across the ribcage for a good measure. Sui scowls in pain and lacks precision in a hectic attempt to tame the American's onslaught; she gets stuck in the sand and shows zero mobility while getting pounded from both sides. She drops her arms too low when Lily fakes another harpoon to the liver area and a quick uppercut bawls her eyes out before a nasty right hook finds the ear AND SENDS THE CHINESE MODEL CRASHING FACE-DOWN INTO THE SAND!!! Sui bites the proverbial dust and she eats a faceful of sand before a half-hearted recovery effort ends in a disaster! She gets counted out on all fours and that was a lightning fast job from the referee. Poor Sui doesn't know what hit her but the ref raises Lily's arms in the air and one doesn't argue with the local heroines fighting in front of their home crowd! KO2 Lily Aldridge in shockingly effective fashion!!!


Official Decision: Lily Aldridge def. Sui He via KO2.


AFTER:
Lily didn't land a power punch until the middle of the second round and one could argue Sui's defense is right up there with peak Carrie Prejean but more evidence is required before officially dismissing the Chinese prospect. However Ming Xi simply can't do any worse vs Devon Windsor, right? It's not a vintage days for Chinese boxing fans but Lily Aldridge and the Lioness crew have a different thing - or model - to worry about. Because Adriana Lima is ready to blow the doors off the California lass next and upsetting the current lightweight champion in only your second FCBA contest is a tougher task than leading Detroit Lions into the Super Bowl.

The draw hasn't been as kind to Lily as to some of the other models around but she vows to give the Brazilian a real test and slams the BLONDE! Magazine rumours about pulling out of the event due to currently unspecified BBU commitments: "Who told you that? I know my FCBA arrival hasn't matched Taylor Swift's stable transfer hype but do you really expect me to lay down and beg Adriana for mercy?" Still, tonight's fight an
