Emilia Clarke versus Lena Headey

BEFORE: Two of the biggest names and proudest women in the history of “Game of Thrones” compete here today as the “Mother of Dragons” Daenerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke and “Light of the West” Cersei Lannister take one another in a battle of royalty for pride and the determination of the Alpha on set as the show enters its final season, though that is being split in half, as appears to be all the rage today. But, rage is a good description for how these two feel about one another as there is little to no respect to be had.

Cersei is quite determined leading up to the bout, “I know there are a lot of questions about whether or not I can handle Emilia, but people have been underestimating me and my character throughout the show. I’ve proven them wrong each and every time. Emilia has always thought she was better than me since the moment she’s arrived and now it’s time for me to teach her a lesson that she certainly isn’t. It’s time for her fiery temper to cool off and the best way for me to do that is to knock her out. She has had this coming for a LONG time and as we all know, a Lannister always pays their debts…”

Emilia comes in confident, just smiling confidently as she runs her hands through her hair as she steps up to the podium, “I’ve been on the show since the beginning - I’ve seen a lot of characters come and go, as our show is definitely famous for. But, all of those girls, they’re all just spokes on a wheel. This one’s on top and that one’s on top and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground. We’re not going to stop the wheel. I’m going to break the wheel. And if I need to break Lena in the process, then so be it.” as Emilia then struts off, having used one of her most-famous quotes to make a point.

Next up will be to see whether she can back it up as they come to fight night.

Lena comes in first wearing a dark black bikini with golden trim with matching gloves and her hair cut short - Emilia emerges in a bright red bikini with matching gloves and hair in a fighting ponytail. Both of them looking regal, as it should be in a true queen versus queen battle, glaring at one another as neither of them back down in this main event match-up and the bell sounds...

During R1: Emilia the aggressor—twisting and bending into her delivery, lashing the punches home in lank arcs. Lena retreating, keeping dukes up: punches bounce loudly off shoulders and parrying mitts as she gives ground. Thudding rights/lefts score against Jen’s waistline: Emilia pursing her lips as she gets in there thick Emilia loose-limbed, very heavy handed—she turns punches over nicely—elbow comes up as brings the fists back to her own chest on follow through. Down the stretch, Lena answers all with a single thunder-bolt hook out of the crouch, countering with pin point accuracy to Emilia’s chin. Clarke GOES DOWN! Emilia scoots to her glutes, eyes wide, lips parted: just like that Lena steals the round and steals 10-8.

R2: Lena switches over to offense. She steps in strong—weight on left foot as she’s pounding in stiff jabs. Working behind jabs to head and body. Lena drops in short right crosses off her shoulder—penetrating Emilia’s defences and bouncing mitts off face. When Emilia covers up peek-a-boo—Lena bangs the midsection: Headey lowering her head, chugging away muscular rights/lefts to make Emilia’s abs sing. Good footwork from Jen: she’ll deliver heavy amidships, then step right while jabbing Emilia up top: all Clarke can do is turn while blocking. Thudding shutout, Lena Headey.

R3: Rangy Lena aggressive in first minute—but wide with lanky shellack. Emilia able to cover up, duck inside arc of the blows. Second minute sees Emilia retake initiative with stirring body blows—really hammering at firm ribs and tummy after ducking Lena’s slinging shots. Emilia working up torso - by the final minute, she’s ringing both fists off Lena’s face—punching Headey onto her heels. Lena discouraged, backing up, getting hit hard this round as Emilia’s compact, heavy, and accurate combinations prove decisive but neither fighter takes control this round.

R4: Lena needs a round to stem the tide: Emilia being very stingy. Headey dipping her left shoulder, straps a cranking left hook off Emilia’s stomach. Lena brings the punch back to her own midsection after delivery, then redeploys a slinging left hook up top, toggling Emilia's chin. Clarke withstanding the heaviest shot she’s taken all night, answers back with a pair of jabs against Lena’s bulging jugs, then a chopping right hand to mouth. Weight on left foot, Emilia salts way the exchange with a thudding hook into Lena’s tummy, doubling it to hook her in the flank as Lena cringes forward. Goes like that: Lena getting off and doing well, only to be bludgeoned back into compliance by Emila’s rigid, bashing combinations.

R5: Emilia’s jab slowly taking over the fight - very stiff, ringing punch, penetrating to body or face as Emilia steps it in with authority. Lena backing up clearly isn’t the same fighter: she’s trying to find time to set her feet and sling power into Clarke. Emilia the shorter, snappier puncher—bouncing blows off Lena’s body, crouching down to avoid receipts, then ringing Headey up to head. Hooks across Lena’s breasts have her dismayed: Emilia doing confident work against one of the the cleavage of Cersei - Emilia’s work rate beginning to unnerve Lena — Clarke ringing the body up, then clanging away to head, coming forward behind the jab, then repeating it all: Lena’s breaking down. Down the stretch—Emilia’s punching Lena groggy with a pair of stiff jabs to face; shearing right cross torque’s Lena's head, slumping her against the ropes; muscular left hook takes Lena in her ribs, just behind the right elbow. Headey hurt, stooping forward behind her mitts: Emilia the right uppercut in close, Emilia eases her right hand down inside Lena’s right arm - again working her girl confidently by reaching in, clipping up - poor Headey helpless against the ropes, finally swooning out on her feet when ref jumps in. TKO5 Emilia Clarke in a big win for her!

AFTER: An excellent back-and-forth bout that has the crowd on their feet, cheering this ‘Game of Thrones’ inspired bout that ended up with Emilia Clarke victorious in the main event. The fans couldn’t be happier, though Lena does not look nearly as pleased. Emilia, on the other hand, is ecstatic as she leaps around the ring and pumps her fist into the air for a few moments, before coming over to approach Lena.

Lena is looking positively stoic as she tries to strut out of the ring, but Emilia is not going to allow her to escape without a “Walk of Shame.” Snaring one of her arms around Lena’s trim waist and the other going to tug at her hair, Emilia chuckles, “Where do you think you’re going? I think a little royal tour will do us good, don’t you?” as she goes to lead her around the ring, parading off her latest triumph. Headey is furious, eyes flashing but she can’t seem to twist free, especially once Emilia starts slapping at her face from the side, “So, who is the queen, huh? Who is the queen? Who is the Alpha on set? Tell me..” as she keeps guiding her around the ring, showing off her increasingly reddened and embarrassed face for the crowd, who is cheering.

Lena manages to make it through the first parade around the ring, just yelping and blinking angrily, still trying to fight free as she refuses to answer. Emilia doesn’t relent though, if anything, increasing the pace as Lena’s stoic confidence can’t last through a second tour of the ring as she shouts furiously, “Stop it Emilia - you are! You’re the Alpha, okay?” as Emilia beams, hearing Lena hiss, “You’re the queen” to make Emilia finally cease the humiliation.

Giving Lena a patronizing slap on her posterior before shoving her away as Emilia takes a moment to catch her breathe, closing her eyes as she drinks in the moment and thrusts her hands up into the air, having managed to make it to ruling status on one of the biggest shows of the world. Who knows who will end up on the Iron Throne in the end, but right now, this is the best feeling in the world for her and it’s unlikely to be topped anytime soon, though there will be plenty of challengers who will try to take it away before long.

But, of course, Emilia has a warning for all of them as she addresses the press following the match: “If you mess with the Mother of Dragons, you’re going to get burned!!” and following today’s result, there may be no disputing that royal proclamation as the crowd got to bear witness in the first and hopefully not last event celebrating one of the best shows occurring today in “Game of Thrones.”.
