Before:

Brie: “In my book, Jennifer Morrison is seven for seven. All of her wins have come by knockout. She’s got some pop and I can’t look past her or get lazy in the ring. She’s handed Pink losses twice, and that’s quite a bright spot on her resume. But I always feel that if I fight my fight, on my terms… I’ll come out on top.” Asked about her undefeated record, Brie scoffs. “2-0 barely counts as a record at all. WAY too early to think about that. I just want to keep boxing and keep getting better with each match.”

Morrison: When asked to address her scant fight schedule over the last few years, Jennifer ruefully resonds. “It’s been tough… tough to get into any kind of a rhythm. I know I have the tools, the skills, the body… I just need the right opportunities. I can knock girls out, just have to be a little careful and make sure that she’s the one sleeping at the end of the night!”

As a condition of her lesser experience, Brie enters the arena first. She parades to the ring wearing a royal blue satin robe with a red hood and a yellow star in the middle. A slight nod to her upcoming role as Captain Marvel. She shrugs off the robe in her corner to reveal a toned figure clad in a similar look of royal blue trunks with a red no-nonsense sports bra. Jennifer down to the ring in a classic white robe with black trim. She’s laser focused as she slips between the ropes and reveals a stunning figure. She’s looking lithe and strong for this upcoming battle scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.


Round 1: Jennifer high energy as she’s out to set the tone. She’s stabbing out those double jabs and constantly on the front foot. Brie moving well and keeping her distance, but those toned and shapely legs have her backing up and hiding behind her gloves. Brie is jabbing enough to keep Morrison from going all in, though Jennifer is slamming hard shots off Larson’s guard. Midway through the round, Brie begins to counter jab. Not willing to commit to an all out war this early, Brie looks to touch Jennifer up with precision work. She’s landing crisp punches to cheek or touching Jennifer up to tummy and getting away clean. Morrison just a split second too slow as she throws slicing counterpunches. Brie able to get in and out just in time to avoid being severely punished for her aggression. Both girls looking strong at the bell. Polite touch of gloves as they pass each other en route to their corners.

Round 2: Jennifer Morrison comes out hot to start round 2. Strong legs carrying her constantly forward, still hammering out that jab though most of her shots are missing their ever moving target or slamming into Brie’s stalwart guard. It’s a high volume assault that is so difficult to sustain. About a minute into the round, Jennifer’s pace begins to slide and Brie peeks her head up over her guard noticing the shift. Morrison’s next flurry comes just a bit slower… and Brie is able to counter! Larson explodes forward, landing two big hooks and snapping Jennifer’s head from side to side! Her ponytail flying, Morrison immediately on red alert as she stumbles back trying desperately to reset her guard. Brie is on her in the flash! She’s still hunting that precious chin but also taking time to dig beefy punches into Jennifer’s toned body. Morrison whimpering in receipt, guard tucked in tight as she’s forced to take along the ropes! Brie very measured in the way she applies pressure. She’s cautious still as she’s wary of any punches flying back from Jennifer. It’s clean work to the bell, and Brie bangs her gloves together as she skips back to her corner after the bell. Morrison hanging in the ropes for a moment before stumbling home.


Round 3: Brie up before the bell can ring. She’s anxious to press her advantage and test what effect her assault might have had on her fit challenger. Jennifer up looking sturdy as ever, coming straight forward and looking to re-establish the pattern from the first round. Girls clash at center ring with Jennifer going high with a big hook… but Brie ducks under and pounds a hard body shot off of Jennifer’s abs! It’s the kind of shot that would gut a lesser girl, but Morrison’s superior fitness only sees her stagger a bit. She’s able to load up her own chopping left that CRACKS Brie on the jaw, sending shockwaves down Larson’s shapely legs! Brie definitely shaky as she backs off for distance, pained look spreading across her face as she falters backwards. Jennifer pressing forward again getting off punches in bunches. Her gloves are landing clean now to Brie’s cheeks and tummy… but Brie plants and fires back! Tight little uppercut finds that hole in Jennifer’s defense, and it ROCKS her head upwards, nearly spilling out her mouthguard and freezing her in her tracks! Brie falls in and the girls wrap up, with Larson getting in some close quarters body work before the bell breaks them apart. The girls lean in on each other for a moment looking to stabilize. Both grateful for the breather from this hotly contested bout.


Round 4: Jennifer biting down hard on her mouth piece as she rises for the next round. She’s keeping her elbows in tight as her corner was definitely giving her torso some attention during the break. Brie eagle eyed as she notices Jennifer might still be hurt to the body. Larson stashing that information away as she engages Jennifer inside. Looking to keep the fight in close and pound at that body. Brie and Jennifer launching punch after punch at close range like two battleships blasting away! Hard shots to tummy shaking each girl to her core, but only causing her to come back with more fire and fury. Back and forth they go… each girl’s punches coaxing out a renewed iron will in the other. Crowd on their feet screaming at the top of their lungs for the display. At the ten second warning, Jennifer changes the tempo, bumping Brie off to give her that perfect lane to launch a missile that crashes into Brie’s chin! Larson goes wobbly butt! She’s forced to wrap her arms around Jennifer and hang on tight to keep from going down. Brie’s eyes clamped shut as she hangs on, still trying to get her bearings. Jennifer able to shove a few more shots to body before the bell. Morrison quick to shove Brie off at the bell, Larson staggering backwards as her corner is quickly in to retrieve her.

Round 5: Brie Larson takes a big, deep breath and taps her gloves together before the bell rings. She clamps down on her mouthpiece, knowing it’s going to be some tough sledding here. Jennifer is looking to press her advantage and she’s trying to smother Larson before she can fully recover. But Brie is already up on her bicycle again, skipping and fluttering around the ring. Jennifer snarling as she chases, lunging in with big punches to catch her wounded prey. Brie just unpredictable enough to avoid the big punches. Jennifer moving ever forward, waiting to load up on a shot… but Larson plants and fires back! OH! It’s a one-two dose of thunder from Brie with both shots landing clean on Jennifer’s chin! Morrison stopped and STUNNED in her tracks! She’s wide open and Brie doesn’t miss a beat! She’s in quick, leaping in with a big hook that knocks Jennifer stumbling into the ropes and covering up tight! Jennifer in real trouble here and she’s trying to ride it out with Brie storming like a tornado! A flurry of punches constantly raining down on those weakening arms. Ref hovering, watching close…. And Jennifer shows just enough to make it to the bell. She’s definitely a damaged beauty as her corner dives in quick to guide her back to her corner. Jennifer still looking stunned as her corner goes to work. Brie taking a moment to raise her gloves and play to the crowd as she coasts home.

Round 6: Jennifer very slow to rise as her legs still look a little shaky. Brie up quick and hopping from foot to foot, ponytail bouncing playfully as her eyes are locked on her damaged opponent. She’s clinical as she closes, sizing up Jennifer and reading the holes in her defense. Brie tucking in shots that pile on the damage but keep Larson out of harm’s way. She’s kissing that jab off chin and cheek and evaporates when Jennifer goes to counter. Larson launching brawny punches to body, but darting away when Morrison wants to clinch and stop the damage. Jennifer all busted up as she’s staggering with a ragged guard. Brie sees an opening and seizes her opportunity. It’s a quick hop in and Larson as the distance and the opening she’s been searching for all night. It’s a practiced combination. One she’s surely practiced in the gym over and over. In rapid succession, Brie turns the lights off with a beautiful double jab, big body shot, left hook and a HUGE uppercut that jars loose Jennifer’s mouthpiece and sends her sprawling out on her back! Jennifer laid out flat with her gloves stretched out over her head and she is starched! No need for a count as Jennifer Morrison is OUT! Brie immediately thrusts her gloves skyward as she knows she’s just ended the fight with that display. She’s ecstatic as she parades around the ring, playing to all her new fans! Big win for BRIE LARSON by KO6!

After:

Brie Larson all smiles as her hand is raised. Positively beaming after that KO during a see-saw battle. “Wow! Jennifer Morrison is one tough girl. She’s a great fighter and she’s going to give lots of girls some stiff competition going forward. Things just went my way tonight. Lots of points in the fight where it might have gone either way… I just landed the right punches to come out on top!”
