(Bonzo's Gym vs Girls Friday)

Intro:
Finally we have reached the FCBA welterweight title fight, two big
girls want the gold, who will lift the title between the challenger
Katrina Law and the champion Hilary Rhoda.
Katrina is 32 years old, stands at 5'8 and holds a record of 16 wins,
11 by knockout and 12 defeats, this is the second time she has
challenged for the title.
Hilary is 30 years old, stands at 5'11 and holds a record of 12 wins,
all by knockout and only 1 defeat, this is her first ever defence of
the title.
These two have fought before, March of this year saw their first dust
up, Hilary coming out on top with a 7th round knockout, she'll be
hoping history repeats itself tonight.

At the press conference, there looked to be a great deal of respect
for the other as they met up, a quick hand shake as Hilary proudly had
the title on her right shoulder.
Both heading to their tables, Hilary putting the belt down in front of
herself on the table, Katrina can be seen given it a quick glance
before beginning her speech to the press.
"I have to be honest, I didn't expect this shot, I beat Michelle
(Ryan) twice this year and of course lost to the champ, but I look at
it as a compliment, I have worked my ass off for so long and never
held the gold, this is my chance to fix that fact" she starts with.
Changing the subject slightly, "another thing I need to fix is the
score between me and you Hilary, you have shown to be a great fighter,
I won't pretend you are not, but you have to understand, I learn
quickly, look at your stablemate Michelle, ask her who is winning our
personal feud, so you are not facing the same Law you faced over 6
months ago, you are fighting a much better version"
Hilary nodding as Katrina glares at her, trying to get into her head,
the champ though smiles as she says "since we are being honest,
Katrina was the first girl I'd say who really took me to my limits,
that's no disrespect I hope to those I fought before her, but when you
have gone even a round with Law, you know you have been in a fight, it
is part of why she got the nod for my first defence"
Quickly adding "the other reason is I know she wants my head on a
spike for our first fight, there are plenty of worthy challengers, but
she is going to be throwing everything and the kitchen sink at me, one
of us might get seriously hurt"
Continuing with "as much as that sounds bad, it is exciting to know
that you are fighting someone who respects you as you do them, but is
willing to do anything to beat you"
Both girls nod at each other, Hilary finishes jokingly "before I stare
this beautiful specimen of perfect down" winking at her challenger "I
want to say I have a new nickname, since Kate Upton wants to continue
claiming to be the Queen around here, then I shall be knowing as the
'Queen slayer'"
Even Katrina laughs as she admits "God I wish I could see that stuck
up bytches face when she hears that" as they girls stand up with big
smiles belittling they are going to fight in less then 24 hours.
Facing off one final time, they regain their composure to go nose to
nose, the journalists reminded that these are two powerful women,
either could win the title and the loser could be stretchered out if
it goes badly wrong for them in the fight, both leave the stage soon
enough to get everything ready for the fight itself.

Fight night, Katrina comes out first with Nadia Bjorlin by her side,
pounding her chest with her right hand, she shouts "this is my night!"
Pumped up for this fight.
She's wearing a black one piece swimsuit with matching gloves, her
hair is up in a ponytail as she smiles for her fans.
Climbing into the ring, she waves to the crowd, before going through
her warm up routine, her eyes full of focus as this is the moment
she's been waiting for.
Out comes the champion, Hilary smiling as she hears herself being
announced as the champ, she has Lauren Berlingeri and Eva Carneiro by
her side.
She's wearing a violet one piece swimsuit with matching gloves, while
her hair has been braided, she has to get Lauren to take the belt off
from around her waist, giving it a kiss before she jogs up the steps.
As she gets into the ring, Hilary pumps her right fist to the crowd,
before beginning her own warm up, the girls stare hard at each other.
That eye contact isn't broken one bit as the referee brings them to
the ring centre, each putting a glove on the title belt in the
referees hands.

Asked to touch gloves, they thud them together and turn to jog back to
their corners, the referee hands the belt to the timekeeper and
signals for the bell to begin 10 rounds of FCBA welterweight
championship action.

Round 1:
"Ding" out come the fighters, touching a glove before getting into
their stances to a loud roar from a crowd who've wanted to see this
rematch for months.
Both fighters start off with some probing punches, Hilary landing the
cleaner punches as they circle, that two inch height advantage helping
to start her off well.
Katrina though looks up for this, bobbing her head side to side, she
slips inside the reach of Hilary to land a hard right to the ribs,
followed by a left cross to force the champion onto the back foot.
Hilary looking a little defensive already, snaps a double jab into the
top of Law's head knocks it back, but she doesn't seem to press
forwards, maybe picking something up in their first fight.
The challenger though is looking to get to the inside, moving around
Rhoda, her head out the way of the jab and straight of the champ,
waiting for her chance to get inside.
She soon finds it, stepping inside under a right, digging a left under
the jug of Hilary to make her groan, before following with two rights
to the face of the model, knocking some saliva out her mouth to show
the crowd the power she has.
Hilary covering up as she retreats with Katrina digging her punches
into the arms of the defending Rhoda, Hilary moves out the way of a
right and steps back in to land a straight to the cheek, followed by a
left to the centre of Law's face.
Now it's Katrina forced onto the back foot after a mistake, covering
up as Hilary uses her jab to measure her up, before digging her right
into the ribs of her opponent, who grunts but tries to hide that it
hurt.
As the round comes towards it's end, Katrina and Hilary let their
hands go to try to win the round, both slamming rights and lefts to
the others faces and bodies, Hilary landing a stiff straight, followed
by two cross punches to her face to get the better of the exchange as
the bell rings.
Both girls nod at each other, before jogging back to their corners, a
good round for both, their coaches washing them down, whispering any
changes to their gameplans, this being the most important fight for
either at this time.
Round 2:
Again Hilary starts off the better thanks to her jab digging into the
top of her challengers head, she looks to be trying to measure her up
for a big haymaker.
The champ misses with a right hook, Katrina slips under it; coming
back with an uppercut that puts Rhoda onto her heels.
Katrina pressing forward with short sharp digging punches to the abs
of Hilary, her head nearly bumps her opponent's chin as she powers her
back into a corner.
Hilary looking worried for the first time in the fight, having to
cover up as Katrina just pounds away at her guard, finding some gaps
to dig away to the body.
The champion having to push Katrina back to create space to move out
to the side, Katrina trying to keep on top of her opponent by keeping
in tight.
The girls fall in tight and start trading on the inside, Katrina
landing the better punches as she is in prime position at the moment.
Hilary groaning out as she is being assaulted to the body, she manages
to nudge Katrina back with her left though to land a right cross up
top.
Starting to fight back as the round heads into the home stretch,
Hilary lands two straight punches to the nose of Katrina, the
challenger though parries a right cross and slips inside to land a
left cross.
Katrina finishing the round strongly with two rights to the ribs of
Hilary just before the bell rings to end the round, she pumps her fist
into the air to a loud cheer as she heads to her corner.
Nadia smiling as she helps Katrina by washing the sweat off her body
and rehydrating her, telling her "great job, this is your night babe,
we've worked hard for this fight" patting Katrina onto her arm.
While in the other corner, Hilary looks frustrated; her body shows
some marks now and she knows she dropped the ball that round, she
can't let Katrina get on top for too long or she'll be kissing the
canvas instead of the big gold belt.
Round 3:
Hilary looks to box off the back foot, digging her punches into the
guard of Katrina, who has a hungry look on her face, she wants that
title and Rhoda isn't going to deny her it tonight.
Katrina deflecting a right aimed at her head, stepping in to land a
right of her own to the cheek of Hilary, then two thudding body shots
to either side of her body.
Again Katrina looks to drive Hilary back, digging her punches into the
abs of the champ, but she leaves herself open up top to a hard right
hook.
The girls start trading hard shots as they stand toe to toe, sweat
flying off both their bodies as they both grunt and groan as fists
smack into flesh.
Katrina though nearly shoulder barges Hilary back, using her shoulder
to nudge her back onto her heels, before landing a hard right across
the face of the model.
Hilary finding herself being driven onto the ropes, Katrina clearly
believing if she takes the body out, the head will follow as she digs
short sharp rights into the side of the champ, whose guard is lowering
to compensate.
The younger fighter clinching up, forcing the referee to get involved
by prying the fighters apart, Hilary getting into space as she seems
to need to win this fight.
She catches Katrina coming in with a right cross as the challenger
goes for a right of her own, before landing two more punches square on
the face of Law to back her up a few steps.
Katrina though moves out the way of a left cross, then tries to come
in quickly to catch Hilary with her hands down, instead she gets
caught with a chopping right to the top of her head to knock it to the
side.
Hilary finishing the round strong as she forces Katrina to cover up
after another stiff punch catches her on her lips, the bell rings soon
enough to end the round with both fighters looking each other over.
Katrina still looks the more confident, she has been the better fight
for two rounds in her mind, she is having some flashbacks of
dominating the first fight and getting knocked out though, so she
tells herself to keep focused.
While in the other corner, Hilary is looking grim, she wanted to be
the one on the front foot, hurt Law early to make a statement tonight,
instead it's deju vu for them both.
Round 4:
Back out come the girls to the ring centre, Katrina digging her
punches to the abs of Hilary, trying to wear her down as she moves
around her, Hilary on the other hand trying to lean out the way and
land over the guard of Katrina.
It is starting to look slightly more even after the dominance Katrina
had in the last two rounds, though she does still move under the right
of Hilary to land a right to her side and a left up top to her cheek.
The champ nudging her back though to create space, both fighters land
hard punches past the others guards as they seem more happier to trade
now.
Katrina tries to time her attack, but as she ducks under a right,
Hilary moves out the way of a right to her body, before striking down
to the forehead of Law.
Who shakes her head as she stands up, Hilary doesn't give her time to
breath, coming at her with three punches to her face, knocking the
challengers head back with sweat flying into the air.
Katrina tries to move into space, she has to cover up though as Hilary
keeps coming forwards with her punches smacking off the reddening
forearms of her opponent.
The challenger manages to move out the way of a hard right hook,
landing a counter right of her own across the chin of Hilary, making
her shake her head and leave herself open to a straight to her nose.
Blood starts to trickle from the nose of Rhoda, Katrina trying to
press her advantage, but Hilary plants her feet to trade fire back.
The bell rings not long after with both girls just about holding back,
Hilary wiping the blood from her nostrils across her gloves, smirking
to show Katrina it doesn't bother her, the challenger just smirks
back, as if to say "first blood to me"
Both head back to their corners with their coaches and cut teams
working to clean them up, Hilary needing her nose to stop bleeding,
while Katrina is starting to show some marks on her face, which has
looked mostly flawless up to now.
Round 5:
Hilary looking to build off that round, starts with long range punches
to the face of Katrina, who is trying to move around her up on her
toes.
The champion steps in to land a straight between the mitts of her
opponent, but Katrina bobs her head to the side and digs a right into
the ribs of Rhoda, who groans out loudly as sweat flies into the air.
Hilary manages to land a left cross as Katrina heads back out, making
her relax slightly as she works her way forwards, even trying an
uppercut that misses it's target but has Katrina on the back foot.
Till Hilary tries to land another straight punch, Katrina ducking
under and coming back up with an overhand right that wobbles the
champ.
Katrina follows with a right hook that dumps Hilary onto her side! The
crowd are standing and cheering her for a stellar knockdown as the
referee waves her to a neutral corner to begin his count.
Hilary sits up at 4, shaking her head to clear the cobwebs as she
hates to admit it, but Katrina got her good, she needs to pull herself
up with her right hand on the ropes, beating the count at 8.
After being checked on, the referee let's the fighters back at each
other with Hilary covering up, Katrina ploughing forwards to try to
end this.
The first fight between them still playing slightly on her mind as she
crowds Hilary onto the ropes, digging into the side of the champion,
but holding the ropes with her left as she pins Hilary to them.
The referee needed to separate the two as Katrina looks hyped up,
maybe too hyped up as she misses with a right hook aimed right at the
chin of Hilary.
Who in return is firing out counter straight punches, digging her fist
into the side of the challengers face or her nose, stopping her
getting in too close.
Katrina again though late in the round manages to press Hilary onto
the ropes, the champion having to weather the storm as Katrina works
her body and cheeks over with rights and lefts.
The bell rings with Katrina looking upset that she couldn't finish it,
"next round" she tells herself as Nadia gives her a big smile and
thumbs up for that massive round.
Hilary shaking her head, maybe still a little shaken as Lauren has to
give her one hell of a pep talk, Eva waking her up with a towel and
splashing water into her face, more blood running from her nose as the
crowd wonder if this is Katrina's time.
Round 6:
Katrina looks up for this, stalking back the champ with her jab moving
up and down it's target to try to open up a gap in her defence to put
her down.
Hilary keeping her guard tight, fighting off the back foot with her
own jab landing over the top of Katrina's guard, the model doesn't
look too keen to engage to some people.
That makes Katrina look even more confidence as she comes forwards,
digging a straight to the abs of Hilary, then tries to land a lunging
left hook that the champ barely moves out the way of.
Katrina allowing herself a little smirk as she thinks to herself "so
close" she keeps coming on the attack with three punches that hit the
arms of Hilary and a right hook just about missing.
As the round progresses and Katrina continued to not land the punch
she wants, that discipline starts to disappear that she showed,
replaced by desperation as she starts lunging into punches more to try
to find the punch to win this.
Hilary picking her off with counter punches, as Katrina goes for
another right hook, she steps back and as the challenger over extends,
she comes back in and lands a hard right uppercut to the chin of Law.
Katrina is rocked back, her legs wobble and now she has an angry
Hilary after her, slamming two straight punches to the actresses face.
A small cut forms on the nose of Katrina, worse for her though is she
stunned on the ropes, a right to the side of her head puts her down to
her side now!
The crowd up on their feet again as the referee begins his count,
Katrina shakes her head and wipes some blood from her nose as it dawns
on her she's in trouble for the first real time in the fight.
Pulling herself up with the ropes, Katrina takes a deep breath to try
to clear her mind as the referee checks her over, she is allowed to
continue as now Hilary comes on the attack.
The girls trade for the final few seconds of the round, both looking
to finish this it and the bell stops them as they go head to head,
nudging each other back as they look hard at the other, knowing the
dream could be over for one of them soon.
Both needing to be cleaned up, cheeks puffing up on them, both running
from their noses, Katrina is rightly you could argue the more upset,
she's had Hilary on the back foot all night, now either could go down
judging by the way they look.
Round 7:
Both fighters come out with a plan of attack it seems to end this,
both jab away to the others face, Katrina though tries to crowd the
champion back with a flurry of 5 punches that all miss.
Desperation has really set in for Katrina, her punches have been more
erratic and Hilary is able to move around them with more ease then she
has throughout the fight.
A straight punch soon catches Katrina right on her cut nose, her eyes
shutting from the pain shooting to her brain, Hilary not wasting time,
coming in with a right hook that slams to the temple of Law.
The challenger is still up, but her legs look like jelly and her arms
start to sag, Hilary lands another hard right hook that finally puts
Katrina down to her front as her knees buckle!
The referee begins to count and Katrina is stirring, she pushes
herself to her back, but can't find anything to get herself to stand,
the count soon reaches 10 and this fight is over!

Winner: Still FCBA welterweight champion Hilary Rhoda KO Round 7

After:
If anyone doubts how important these titles are to the fighters, they
just have to see the reaction of both these fighters, Katrina is
sobbing her eyes out on the canvas, her dream ripped away from her
once more, while Hilary falls to her knees and screams "thank god!" In
relief at keeping the belt after being behind in that fight for so
long.
Both of their corner crews rush out to help the fighters, Katrina has
to be helped to her stool as she feels devoid of any strength,
mentally and physically she's beaten at this moment.
While Hilary turns to her team and says "how the f*** did I pull
through that?" Knowing if she hadn't gotten her chance to pull things
around, she'd be the one sobbing her eyes out on the canvas.
As soon as their gloves are taken off, Hilary heads over to Katrina,
Nadia comforting the beaten challenger, nodding to Hilary as she knows
she won't do anything to hurt Katrina further.
Nodding to Nadia to let her speak to Katrina, Hilary says "I hope you
are going to be OK, for the record, you beat the hell out of me babe,
you keep forcing me to find something deep inside myself to pull
through these fights" leaning down to take Katrina's hand and help her
stand up.
Katrina whispers "thank you" as she wipes the tears from her eyes,
before saying "but I can't find that one thing to get me over the line
against you, it's like someone is teasing me that I can beat you, know
this, I will work my ass off to find the answer and I will beat you
next time"
"I look forwards to round 3" replies Hilary as the two women embrace
and lightly kiss the others cheek to show they have a bond growing,
one built on being the best and to use the other to get stronger.
Hilary surprises Katrina by lifting her arm up to a loud cheer from
the crowd, a "we love you Katrina!" Chant starts, making Katrina laugh
and mouth "thank you" to the fans.
Katrina turns and thanks Hilary, before her with Nadia leave the ring
together, Katrina will certainly be back in the title picture, you
wouldn't put it past her finding that answer to become the champion
someday soon.
Meanwhile the referee has been waiting to hand Hilary the title belt,
he nods at Hilary who seems to just remember what this fight was all
about, smiling to him as she gets the title off him and gives it a
quick kiss.
Lauren rushes over with something in her hand, "give Eva the belt a
second, we have a gift for you" which surprises Hilary, she does as
told and chuckles as she sees what it is.
Putting on a T-shirt, it has "Queen slayer" on the top of it with Kate
Upton on her back from their fight with the date "26th August 2017"
on.
Hilary poses with the shirt on and her arms flexed, before holding the
belt over her head, grinning wildly as she is so proud of herself for
showing that she can perform under the pressure.
Before she leaves the ring, back to looking who is next up for the
title, plenty of top talent to chose from.
