WILLA HOLLAND VS MIA KANG

Before: At the pre-fight press conference Willa Holland seems amused rather than intimidated at Mia Kang’s 4-inch height advantage. The two are standing at separate podiums in short shorts (red with white trim for Willa; black for Mia) with white tee shirts bearing the FOXING BOXING and FIGHTING ACADEMY logos.

“I was looking for a challenge in this fight and I certainly have one,” Willa says. “but I think that my experience advantage will allow me chop her down. Since her name isn’t Kaya Scodelario, I have nothing personal against Mia Kang, but this has been a tough year for me. I am not about to make it worse I losing to some swimsuit model who hasn’t even won a fight.”

Mia Kang looks annoyed at Willa’s remarks: “I have looked you up Willa Holland. So I know all about you and Kasya Scodelario. She kicked your arrogant ass so I know it can be done. I admit I have only had one fight and I lost it, but the Fighting Academy has given me the confidence to take on someone like you and beat you. I think you have a lot more to lose if I win than I will if you win. I would just love to finish the job Kaya started.”

Now it is Willa’s turn to look annoyed: “You are making a mistake talking about Kaya. I can’t stand her and you trying to associate you is not going to make me like you.”

Mia smiles slyly: “I don’t want you to like me. I want you to lose to me and weep in humiliation that a ‘mere’ swimsuit model beat your proud actress ass.”

Willa now turns red and storms away from her podium to confront Mia: “You are going to be the one crying. You have a lot of nerve talking to me like that you—you—rookie!”

“I do have a lot of nerve,” Mia says clearly pleased to have gotten under Willa’s skin, “and I punch too. Get ready to kiss my boot tops when I knock you out.”

“You are so going to regret talking to me like this!” Willa vows.

“No I won’t!” Mia fires back and grabs Willa’s arm. Before the surprised brunette can react, Mia has hipped tossed Willa across the stage. “I may not have much experience boxing but I’ve been wrestling on the carpet a lot longer.”

Willa bounds to her feet and charges into the taller woman, but Mia coolly steps to one side, sticks out her arm and knocks Willa off her feet with a clothesline. Willa sits up looking astonished.

“I am just full of surprises,” Mia says with a smirk and turns to make a dramatic exit.

Willa lets out a wild cry and leaps onto Mia’s back, her legs scissoring around the model’s waist as she grabs two handfuls of Mia’s hair. Mia staggers around as Willa tries to ride her. Then Mia simply throws herself backwards and Willa is crushed beneath Mia.

“Get offa me!” Willa gasps.

“Why? I like this,” Mia says trying to grind her body down onto the pinned Willa.

Desperate, Willa reaches down inside Mia’s shorts and grabs the waistband of what turns out to be a thong. Willa yanks as hard as she can and Mia lets out a wail as the wedgie sinks painfully deep.

“LET GO! LET GO!” Mia shrieks.

“Then get off me!” Willa commands.

Mia rolls off Willa and Willa releases the wedgie. The two are kneeling and glaring at each other as Willa tries to regain her breath and Mia careful extracts the thong from her nether regions. They look ready to resume action but FCBA Security rushes in to escort them away.

“You’ll pay for this!” Mia is calling out.

“No—you’ll pay for this!” Willa calls back.

Come fight night, Willa is in a dark red bikini with matching gloves and boots. Willa’s bobbed hair loose, but wetted down. Mia in a purple bikini with matching gloves and boots. Hair is pulled back in a simple pony tail. Two women scowl at each other during ring instructions and seem ready to pounce at the slightest provocation. Referee keeps order and gets them back to their corner to await the opening bell. It sounds.

R1: Willa going right at Mia as the action commences, but runs into an effective long-range jab as Mia takes advantage of her superior reach. Willa getting her face smacked up with some well-aimed and solidly delivered punches. Willa thwarted, starts to circle and look for openings, Mia working to keep the smaller woman at a distance as she strikes with blows to the head to keep Willa rattled. Then Mia decides to take the offensive and moves in with quick hooks to the belly. Willa initially caught off guard by the body attack, backs up as she is hunches over, but then strikes back as she ducks under Mia’s long-armed punches to smite Mia hard to the chest. Mia knocked back, seems to have trouble as Willa keeps pressuring her in close, but then Mia gets an uppercut into Willa’s chin to take the starch out of her attacker. Willa wobbling back behind her jab is able to use the jab to force Mia back to longer range punching, but Mia’s scoring with these punches and they allow Mia to win a close round.

R2: Willa out more quickly this time and she goes to close. Mia not looking comfortable as she struggles to fight at point-blank range. Willa hammering in the stomach and then up onto the breasts. Mia finally failing back to out some space between herself and Willa, but Willa not letting her get breathings space for too long, Late in the round, Willa able to get some overhand rights and lefts to bash Mia in the face. Then she sneaks a strong right uppercut into her chin. Mia retreating as Willa swings away and clouts Mia upside the head. Mia falling back into the ropes, but the bell rings before Willa can do more damage. Still, Willa wins the round by a wide margin.

R3: Mia working harder this round to keep Willa back even as Willa is trying to force her way in close once again. Willa getting struck hard to the face which slows her up and then Mia gets some solid hooks to the belly. Just when it looks like Mia is going to snatch the round away from the aggressive Willa, Willa puts her heads down and works her way in. Mia pounded to the midsection and doubled over by the fury of Willa’s leather. Then Willa bangs the sides of Mia’s head, but then Mia counters with a right uppercut to the chin that sends Willa reeling back. Mia striking some good long range punches as Willa is in retreat, but then Willa ducks under Mia’s punches and comes pounding back close to the body. Mia forced into more close-in action and does look less awkward, but Willa doing a number on Mia’s chest and forcing her to retreat as she gasps for breath. Willa hanging in, but Mia not making it easy as time runs out in the round. Willa emerging with a close, hard-won round, but Mia’s looking defiant and they get into a shoving match that referee has to break up.

R4: Mia striking back as the new round gets rolling. She uses her favored long range punches to strike at Willa’s head. Willa knocked back on her heels, but this time Mia follows up by pushing in close. Willa not expecting this from Mia gets her breasts worked over hard and then Willa goes to the belly. Willa struggling to get her jab going and now has Mia getting in shots to the jaw. Willa now forced to retreat rapidly. Mia scrambling to pursue. Willa finally gets that jab going and uses it to smother Mia’s attack, but Mia holding off Willa’s attempted counterattack at the bell. Judges find it close, but Mia Kang emerges with the win.

R5: Mia again aggressive, but Willa matching her as they get into rapid-fire exchange at mid-ring. Willa getting good shots to Mia’s jaw to stagger the taller woman. Then Willa dropping down to work the belly and ribs with her hardest thrown hooks to the fight. Mia doubling forward, gasping for air and starting to swing wildly to keep Willa back. Willa not being kept back now returns to hammering Mia to the jaw with right hook after right hook. Mia starting to go limp and Willa now unleashes with a left to the chin. Mia thrown back as legs collapse and she dropped hard onto her back. She lies there with arms and legs outflung a classic starfish KO.Referee moves in to count. Mia struggling to rise, but can do nothing as the count goes passed her.
“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YER OUT!”
THE WINNER: WILLA HOLLAND DEFEATS MIA KANG KO5.

After: Willa beaming as she is congratulated on her win by trainer Virginia Madsen and stablemate Dani Fishel. They get her gloves as she then hurries over to snatch a groggy Mia Kang off her stool where she has been recovering from the knockout.

“On your feet,” Willa commands, “I warned you I’d pay you back,”

Mia looking sullen, but forgoes arguing with the triumphant Willa and just grimly accepts being taken on a Walk of Shame. Willa frequently halting for photos as she poses next the taller woman she just defeated.

“It’s true!” Willa later tells press. “The bigger they come, the truly harder they fall and I just loved being the ‘Giant-Killer’ in this fight.”

“Big deal,” Mia sourly says when she talks to reporters, “she beat a rookie on her second fight. I guess she has to take whatever wins she can find. I am sorry I wasn’t able to beat her, but I am making progress. I have trouble fighting in close, but that’s something that can be worked on. It’s going to a longer road than I would have liked, but I am on the right road to a successful boxing career. Just give me enough time and you’ll all see it.”

A welcome, though not unexpected win for Willa Holland. Her experience clearly allowed her to win over the taller woman. Mia Kang did show some signs of improving boxing skills, but she’s clearly a work in progress. As for Willa, she now has her first win of 2017 and can hope of finishing the year on an up note.
