 BEFORE:

"It's funny," says Arielle with a smile. "The former commissioner was a big fan of mine. But, I STILL couldn't get any work around here. Well, that's finally changing tonight. And, I can't wait."

"This girl is tall and she's no kid," says Allison with a nod. "She may not have fought in the bigs, but, she's fought plenty over the years. I'll have to be sharp tonight. And, I WILL be."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's..."

McCarthy: "TERRIBLE! This MUSIC! Something has to be DONE about this!"

O'Dell (sighing): "That's 'Howling at Nothing', but Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats'..."

McCarthy: "He sounds like he has the MEAT sweats!"

Tess: "What does that even MEAN?"

Cassie: "She has NO idea, BFF. She doesn't think, she just says whatever makes its way across the desert that IS her mind to her mouth..."

McCarthy: "Des...you...SHUT UP, BOTH OF YOU!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and that song, which was featured in 'Midnight, Texas', is the theme music for the star of that series, the lovely Arielle Kebbel, who is even now climbing into the ring. Kebbel helped off with the robe to reveal a taffy-colored bikini and a body the crowd clearly appreciates..."

McCarthy: "Again. Philly. Low standards."

Oh, the shark, babe

Has such teeth, dear

McCarthy: "UNbelievable!"

Cassie: "We aren't going to go through it again, are we, BFF?"

Tess: "No. It grows tiresome."

McCarthy: "What ARE you two talking about, and, Walmart, why are you talking like some villain in a bad action movie?"

O'Dell (sighing): "The song you are hearing is, of course, 'Mack The Knife' by Bobby Darin, and that can only mean that Allison 'Mack The Knife' Mack is on her way to ringside..."

McCarthy: "No, it COULD mean that I'M on my way to ringside, the REAL 'Mac The Knife', ME, the girl whose song and gimmick were STOLEN by Weirdo and this FRAUD OF A DANCING HOOKER!"

O'Dell (sighing): "Mack into the ring and helped off, by Jewel and Neve, with that black robe with the gleaming silver knife with one drop of red blood dripping off it. She's wearing that blood red bikini we've all come to know well..."

McCarthy: "And, she still has a body that couldn't get her within a BAJILLION MILES of 'Playboy'..."

O'Dell: "And, we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Allison. Mac?"

McCarthy: "I REFUSE to pick that FRAUD. Kebbel!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel. Let's see who's right. Mack looking to work forward off the bell. No surprise there. Kebbel wants to move. She's quick, athletic, and she's showing that right now, snapping out a jab, looking to keep Allison at bay. Mack's seen this act before. She cuts the ring, bangs some body, but, Kebbel quickly to open canvas..."

McCarthy: "This is good stuff from Kebbel. This is how you beat Mack. Move."

Cassie: "I remember how well it worked for you..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell: "Mack again closing, thumps some ribs, and Kebbel gone again. Close round to this point, with Ariel having the advantage in the open and Allison having it in close. Mack again inside, and, again, it's all about the body until Kebbel again slips away. This is investing going on right now..."

Tess: "No question about it. The idea is to get into those legs."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the first and we're seeing the pattern already set. It's all about what Ariel can do while Allison's working in and what Mack can do when she gets there. Right now, the two fighters are offsetting one another pretty well. Five seconds to go, and there's the bell. Close. Mack."

Cassie: "If Kebbel can keep moving, this could be an interesting fight."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second sees Kebbel on her horse. She's not just jabbing and circling now, she's dancing, snapping sharp left hands, catching Mack on the way in and then being long gone before Allison can get moving again. This is excellent stuff from Arielle, who's getting into a great rhythm."

McCarthy: "This is exactly what I said. This is how you beat Mack. You move. Use your feet. And she's too slow to keep up."

O'Dell: "I don't know about that, but, what I do know is that Kebbel's dictating terms with the feet and the left jab right now. Arielle bouncin' and misbehavin' like a prime Nicole Scherzinger. It's all about movement from Kebbel. Mack resolute, but not having a lot of success at the moment."

Cassie: "This is just excellent stuff from Kebbel. She's really taken command of this round."

O'Dell: "No question about it. We're coming down the stretch of the second, and I'm wondering why this girl hasn't fought in the FCBA before now, because, this is some set of skills she's showing us. A hard, accurate jab, quick hands, and great feet. And, there's the bell. End of the second. Kebbel. Solid."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third starts the same way the second ended, with Kebbel bouncin' and misbehavin' in a big way. Arielle all movement right now, forcing Mack to pursue. Allison doing that, but eating a lot of quick, accurate leather as she does so. Mack not able to close and bang. Can't bring Kebbel to battle."

McCarthy: "Again, this is the blueprint. It's how I always fought girls like Mack and Campbell..."

Tess: "Kebbel's people had better be using a different blueprint, because YOURS usually resulted in you being babified..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and drink in some excellent boxing in space by Arielle Kebbel. This girl is really showing something tonight. We've all heard by now that she's a favorite of the former commissioner, and, after what we've seen so far, I'm stunned that she hasn't gotten work before now."

Cassie: "Just has some nice physicals. Lots of speed and quickness, and, yes, those are two different things."

O'Dell: "Twenty seconds to go in the third. Kebbel in control as she has been for the last six minutes. Mack continuing to work hard, move the feet, look to get something done, but it's not happening. Final seconds, sharp exchange. Kebbel getting the better of it, and there's the bell. Arielle again. Solid."

McCarthy: "And, Mack The FRAUD now trails 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Subtle adjustment by Mack to start the third. She's in that quarter crouch now. Has the head tucked, gloves up, looking to pick off those jabs, and it's working. Allison able to parry most of the left hands, and that's allowing her to close and bang, and that's much more to the veteran's liking."

Cassie: "Kebbel keeping the feet moving, though. Not allowing Mack to lengthen the exchanges."

O'Dell: "Indeed, she is, and that's crucial, because, Allison's getting much the better of things in close, as you'd imagine. But, Kebbel still getting work done when she's in open canvas, offsetting a lot of what Mack's able to do in close quarters. Nice game of cat and mouse going on here, Mac."

McCarthy: "Kebbel doing a great job here. As long as she keeps the feet moving, she's in good shape."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch in the fourth. Mack closing, banging those ribs, landing a nice right hand to the head. Kebbel slips away, circles, jabs, reverses, dances away. Mack pursuing, closes again, works some more body. And, there's the bell. Close one, but it's Allison in the fourth."

Tess: "And, we're even at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Mack sticking with that quarter crouch to start the fifth. It's enabling her to get past that educated jab of Kebbel's and get to her spots, and that's gotten her right back into things, after Arielle controlled the second and third rounds. Kebbel, though, still effective on the outside."

Tess: "No substitute for fast hands, and this girl has them."

O'Dell: "That, she does. Mack closes, works that midsection. Kebbel ties, shoves off, slips away. Back to the jab and the legs. Question you sometimes have about a strategy like this is, can she keep it up all night, but Arielle looks like she can. Mack stepping to again, bangs the body and DROPS KEBBEL WITH THAT RISING RIGHT HOOK!"

Cassie: "THAT ought to look familiar, Mac..."

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell: "Mack popping up out of that crouch landing a brutal right to the chin that drops Arielle to her back. Mack to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Kebbel rolls to her belly. Seven. Eight. Pushes to hands and knees...and eases back to her belly! Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is Allison 'Mack The Knife' Mack!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Allison Mack, and, Allison, this girl can box!"

Allison (nodding): "We knew that coming in. We had plenty of video. We figured that's what she'd do. But, she's even quicker than she looks. She gets work, she'll beat people."

Tess: "But, not you..."

Allison: "Well. She's a good fighter. I'm a champion. There's a difference. And you just saw it."
