Former BBU champion Alesha, now 39 years old, has been challenged to this fight by blonde Lauren, making her debut in this Fed at 35 years of age, but she has been boxing for many years on the independent circuit, and many experts have suggested that she might just have too much for Alesha to handle, despite the older girl’s shock recent defeat of Tamara Ecclestone.

Lauren has announced, “I’m sick of this bitch beating us TOWIE girls, and it’s time she showed us the respect we deserve!” Alesha has countered with, “Another talentless whore tries her luck – get the hospital bed ready for her!”

Debutant Lauren is first into the ring, resplendent in her red bikini with matching gloves and boots, eventually joined by Alesha in her sexy black leather onepiece outfit, with white gloves and boots.

Round 1

Neither girl seems to want to waste any time in getting on with the action in this bout, and a snarling Alesha gets on top early, pummelling Lauren’s face with left hooks, and the blonde isn’t showing much defence, as she gets worked around the ring like a novice, and she’s soon backed into the ropes, looking forlorn as she gets hit, until in desperation she throws big, rough and ready hooks with both hands, and she’s connected with two or three of those punches, hurting Alesha with her right hook, and Alesha staggers a little, then covers, fights back with more orthodox punches, but she gets nailed by Lauren’s left hook, the blonde making the older girl back off, Lauren hitting her in the gut as she retreats, and she’s on top at the bell of a fairly even opening round.

Round 2

The girls again get in close nice and early, the mutual dislike clear to see, as Lauren gets on with the job of hitting Alesha, her gloves banging into the older girl’s body, then she has her against the ropes, and unloads, but Alesha takes most of the punches on her gloves and arms, then she counters, her jab sharp and smacking through between Lauren’s defences again, hits her with a left to the body, then hits Lauren in the mouth with a straight right, and drops her on her butt, the blonde up after taking a 5 count. Alesha’s goading her, and it’s clear that Lauren’s annoyed, and she feasts on Alesha’s body with heavy punishment, battering her back to the ropes, Alesha squealing a little as she gets hit, drops her guard a little, then Lauren puts her down with a right hook for a count of 7, Alesha up, a little lump on her left cheek, and Lauren’s punishing her some more with hefty shots to her body as she lets Alesha feel her power.

Round 3

The girls trade big hooks in the opening seconds in this fierce fight, Lauren tucking into Alesha’s ribs greedily, the older girl again feeling the pain, but when she gets pressed back into the ropes, she fights back, punching her way out of trouble with both hands, and Lauren takes a big hit from Alesha, who grins a little, then gives the blonde a couple of lefts under her ribcage, and she’s hurt the younger girl there, Lauren struggling, her knees wobbling a little, and now she’s the one backing into the ropes in this furious back and forth exchange, as Alesha lines Lauren up, aiming to hit her jaw, but Lauren blocks her, and once again she fights back, and expertly turns Alesha, punches her with hard left hooks to her body to press her to a neutral corner, hits her with a left uppercut, and puts her on her knees. Alesha’s on her feet at 6, but her right eyebrow is cut, and Lauren whacks her bruised and bleeding face with big punches, Alesha covering, clinching and holding, desperately defending as Lauren tries to knock her out.

Round 4

Lauren is very quickly into action, and she gives a slightly slower Alesha a sweet combination, sending the former champion backwards, the Vaseline previously packed on her cut eye flying across the ring, as Lauren presses her towards a neutral corner, Lauren hitting her to her ribs once more, and those punches are really hurting the former champion, but she counterpunches well, and lands a good left hook to Lauren’s jaw just as Lauren tries a right of her own, Lauren walking into that punch really, and it puts her down. Lauren gets up at 8, and now she’s the girl looking unsteady on her feet, for the first time keeping her elbows tucked in to defend herself, but Alesha hits her some more, splits her nose across the bridge with a massive right cross, and she’s trying to finish Lauren off, wanting her back on the ropes with nowhere to run, but she stands tall and hits Alesha back with right hooks to her jaw, and a heavy left dig to her body, Alesha half-lifted off the canvas with that as she contorts her body, another savage round ending.

Round 5

Again the girls are swiftly into action, both of them bleeding, and they swap big, booming punches, Alesha setting Lauren back with a good combination, but the blonde won’t keep still for her, and she’s puffing as she tries to catch her, and when she does stop, it’s Lauren hurting Alesha with three bodyshots, the older girl screeching, another good left to her body bending her over, and Lauren follows that by unleashing an uppercut, enough of her left glove landing in the former champion’s mouth to leave Alesha staggering, and she looks stunned, but although she tries to clinch, Lauren gets her again with a jab and cross combination, and floors her again! Alesha gets up at 7, but she’s so groggy, she can’t keep Lauren off, and eats more leather, Lauren swatting her face to the left and to the right, Alesha’s face a mask of blood now, but she stays on her feet, and even starts to hit back, showing so much heart in this fight, and she’s hitting the blonde’s body, and making Lauren squeal with heavy uppercut type punches under her ribs, and Lauren goes face down on the canvas in a crumpled heap, after taking a big hit from Alesha right on the bell.

Round 6

It’s clear that Lauren‘s in pain, and it could be that Alesha broke a couple of her ribs in round 5, because the blonde’s keeping her right arm defending those damaged ribs, but she’s leaving her jaw exposed, and Alesha shows no mercy, as she hits the target, once, twice, three times, and down goes the blonde again, and this time Lauren can’t beat the count, although she tries, getting to all fours before her arms give way as the count reaches 8, and she’s counted out with her face pressed into the canvas.


Result: Alesha Dixon knocked out Lauren Pope in round 6


That was a fight between two girls with hard punches, and in the end it was Alesha’s determination that won it for her – that and the fact that she broke Lauren’s ribs.

Both girls are bloodied and exhausted, and when they stand in mid ring, they receive a huge ovation, although Lauren announces, “I had you Dixon! You were toast – then got lucky!”

At ringside sits a grinning Jessica Schwarz, who clearly wants another fight with Alesha.
