(Beever's Babes vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The open bout of tonight's "Shannara Chronicles boxing party" sees Freema Agyeman of Doctor Who fame fights the debuting Malese Jow.
Freema is famous for being Doctor Who's assistant in the past Martha Jones, now she is 38 years old, stands 5'3 and holds a record of 5 wins, all by knockout with 7 defeats.
While Malese has had many roles, her most famous maybe her latest role as Meredith in the Shannara Chronicles, her character is an innate magic user with a big future ahead of her.
Malese herself is 26 years old, stands 5'4 and as stated this is her debut after being talked into taking up boxing on the set by her costar Ivana Baquero.
The build up to the fight saw both girls head inside the arena down a red carpet, Freema strutting down the aisle wearing a tight black, while Malese later shows off her figure in a red dress with a low cut front and back.
They face off on the carpet for photos and end with a friendly hug, showing this isn't going to be a grudge fight, the girls seen chatting as they head into the arena together.

Fight time, out comes Freema first; she has Denise Lewis as always in her corner, she is wearing a black bra and knickers set, with matching gloves and her brunette hair is up in a ponytail.
As always she has a big smile on her face as she heads to the ring, waving to her fans as she steps up the stairs and climbs into the ring.
Heading to her corner, Freema begins to run through her warm up of stretches and shadow boxing to get ready for her first fight since 2015.
Now out comes Malese, maybe surprising to some she has the Girls Friday coach Taryn Terrell by her side, but with the stories of Ivana getting Malese into boxing, she was allowed to train with Ivana at Ivana's stables gym.
She is wearing a maroon bra and knickers set, with old style brown gloves on, her brunette hair up in a bun at the back to complete her look.
Stepping into the ring, Malese doesn't look afraid one bit of the spotlight, smiling warmly to the crowd and over to her opponent.
The fighters step to the ring centre, looking each other up appreciatively of what they see in each others toned bodies, they continue smiling as the referee finishes his instructions.
Asked to touch gloves, the women embrace and wish each other good luck, before heading to their corners and taking a deep breath to calm any nerves and get into the fighting zone mentally, the referee signals for the bell to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both women come out looking to test each other out; up on their toes as the circle, with Malese using her slight reach advantage and quickness to start off the quicker.
The Shannara star slamming several straight punched to the mouth and nose of her opponent to make Freema realise she needs to take this girl seriously.
Which leads to Freema moving her head more, stepping in with punches as well now to try to push Malese under pressure.
With the rookie happy enough to trade in close it seems, though Freema is doing the better work on the inside, blocking Malese's punches and sneaking through her own across her face.
A missed uppercut makes Malese step back looking a little stunned, Taryn shouting at her to keep her guard up as Freema steps in to land three punches across her face.
Malese is forced behind her guard, driven back by an aggressive Freema, who looks a total different person to the one who was smiling before the fight.
Punches slamming off the gloves of Jow as she is being driven around the ring, Freema hunting her down with a hunger in her eyes to win.
The bell rings before she can do much damage though, mostly hitting off the guard of her opponent, before putting a glove then head to their corners.
Taryn telling Malese "don't let her pressure you, you've worked hard with Ivana and Poppy to get here, don't let it pass you by OK?" Getting a nod from the rookie.
While Denise is praising Freema, but reminding her to be careful that Malese doesn't catch her out when she steps back out.
Round 2
Back out come the girls; trading single punches early to test each other out with straight punches slamming into the others face.
Freema tries to step inside with a right cross, Malese steps out the way and counters with a double jab that slams into the side of the veterans face.
The younger fighter is starting to get her punches going as the fighters circle and trade, she is countering Agyeman as she keeps looking to land a bigger shot.
Malese parries a straight and comes in with two punches across the face of Freema, the Oklahoma girl now looking to repay Freema for the pounding her guard took last round.
But she misses with a left hook as Freema slips under it and jams a straight to the abs and comes up with an overhand left to knock Jow back a step.
Now it looks like Freema will drive on as her opponent retreats behind her guard, it ends up with the fights trading single punches though as the round slows down somewhat.
Freema stepping in to try an upper again, with Malese blocking it and throwing two straight punches in reply to end the round.
This time the fighters simply nods to each other, both looking content as they sit on their stools and get cleaned up by their coaches, Freema maybe edging it but it's getting close to call.
Round 3:
Freema looks to up the tempo; throwing more punches as she looks to stay in close and trade with Malese, slamming a few punches onto the lips of the youngster to make her think.
The veteran using that experience she has to pick apart the guard of Malese, slamming punches around the guard or to the body.
Malese moving back and trying to fight off the back foot, slinging straight like punches at Freema, who easily spots them and lands a right hook to turn Jow's face.
A MISSED RIGHT FROM MALESE ALLOWS FREEMA TO CATCH HER WITH A LEFT HOOK THAT PUTS JOW DOWN TO HER BACKSIDE WITH A STUNNED LOOK ON HER FACE!
The referee starting his count 1..2...3....4.. Malese isn't badly hurt as she pushes herself up 5...6...7...8 taking the rest of the count to 8 standing, the referee checking her over and letting her continue.
It seems to awaken Malese somewhat as she swings for the head of Freema, who counters the sloppy looking Malese, landing a few off the lips of the American to cause her to wince.
Malese finds herself being pushed back behind her guard again, Freema looking a little frustrated by the defence of her opponent.
Till she starts working the body to open up Malese, who clinches up with Freema, the girls start pushing each other in the clinch as the friendly start is being replaced by their tempers.
Separated; Freema looks to get back on the front foot, the bell rings though before she can do so, with Malese looking a little worried.
Taryn again is at her fighter for tonight, telling her "think of your friends in the back, this is supposed to be your night but you are letting her get to you, work on the gameplan"
Freema looks happy to have the cool water over her head, getting a nod from Denise to tell her she is doing the job expected so far, with the Beever's Babe's girl narrowing her eyes towards Malese.
Round 4:
Freema looking to build off her work so far, finding a more compact guard to break down, trying to change up her targets to get the younger fighter to open up.
But Malese is starting to use peek a boo style tactics, taking a beating on her guard and once she sees an opening, she slams to the face and body of Freema.
Who manages to get inside to land two shots, she gets nudged back though and eats a right onto her nose before stepping back.
Malese looks to be much more defensive, not winning many fans for her own workrate, Freema trying not to be frustrated as she isn't landing as cleanly as before.
In fact Malese is the one to the pundits who is controlling the pace; eating Freema's punches off her gloves, starting to dig her punches into the body of Freema.
A missed right hook from Freema leaves her open to a body drill by Malese, making the veteran groan and need to retreat.
Malese loses her composure and looks to get into the face of Freema with not long to go in the round, leading to both trading as the crowd roar for both girls.
The bell rings with the women holding back, turning away and heading to their corners, both being marked up as Denise tells Freema "don't waste your energy, you are playing her game"
While Taryn looks all smiles, looking like she wants to ruffle the hair of Malese as she tells her "that's what I want to see from you, keep doing that and the party will be starting early"
Round 5:
This time Freema doesn't rush out, back to measuring each other up with their jabs early on, Malese starting to ligtten up her mood, maybe happy not to be under a firing squad like the last few rounds.
Freema tries to throw a straight over the top of the American's guard, instead though Malese ducks under and slams a right under the ribs of the English fighter.
Agyeman looks to throw more punched again, but her punches look to be starting to look slower, is the ring rust starting to play up?
Her opponent is starting to find her body more as they exchange around midrange, with Malese now the one moving her head to dodge punches.
Malese gets a left inside the guard of Freema to her nose, adding two punches to the body of her opponent, then steps out the way of a wild right.
The older fighter now letting herself show frustration, trying to step inside and bang away at the face of Malese, instead though she gets caught with an uppercut that pushes her onto her heels.
Malese banging away at the body of her opponent; driving her onto the ropes as Freema now covers up, fists slamming into the abs of her opponent till the bell rings to end the round.
Denise shows a little concern for Freema, giving her water and trying to get Freema into shape for the next round.
Malese meanwhile sits with her smile starting to return to full blossom, enjoying this fight and wanting more as now her eyes are locked on her opponent.
Round 6:
Back out come the fighters, circling and trading as Malese comes inside to force the issue with Freema happy to go toe to toe.
Freema is trying to land something that can turn the tide, problem is she is being hit with twice the punches she can throw, leading to her being knocked back onto her heels.
It leads to Malese landing a right hook that turns Freema's head around, forcing Agyeman to clinch up to get a moment to breath.
Separated by the referee; Freema is able to get several straight punches into the face of her opponent, whose looking to keep the pressure on her but is a little too open.
Malese reminding people that she is a rookie as she is too keen to get at her opponent, learning the hard way as a right smacks across her lips and opens up her bottom lip to cause her to groan out loudly.
Now it's Freema starting to get some control back as she targets the bloody lip of Jow, getting loud groans from her as Taryn looks worried herself as her fighter is back behind her guard.
A missed left from Freema allows Malese to come from behind that guard with a hard right to the abs of Agyeman and a left follows on the chin.
Freema stumbles slightly; Malese's eyes light up and if not for the veteran grabbing onto her, that could have been a big drive for the rookie.
Pulled apart, the fighters trade in tight as seconds tick away, the bell rings soon enough with a slight nudge from the girls to separate.
Freema is starting to visibly breath harder, while it is cool compared to usual in the arena, that ring rust seems to be starting to really bite as her and Denise try to work out how she can get to the end of the fight.
While Taryn sees this, telling Malese "use your head here OK? She is tired, you have done good work when you worked the body, you need to get inside to finish this"
Round 7:
Freema starting to look slower with Malese starting to grow more into the fight, as the fighters trade at the ring centre, it's the Shannara star that is punishing Agyeman to the face.
A feint by Malese makes Freema react and she doesn't react in time to the real right that slams into the centre of Freema's body.
That begins a flurry of punches off the body of Freema, whose groaning and trying to fight back, being shoved back though is what is making her shots look weak, not able to plant her feet.
AS AGYEMAN'S BACK TOUCHES THE TURNBUCKLES IN THE CORNER, A HARD RIGHT DIGS INTO THE CENTRE OF HER BODY; DOWN TO A KNEE GOES FREEMA!
The referee begins to count 1...2..3... Freema spits out her gumshield to suck in more air to her lungs, 4...5...6..7.. She pulls herself up to her feet with help from the ropes.
After she is checked on, the referee has to get Freema to her corner to get a fresh gumshield in, giving her more time to recover.
Brought back together; Freema keeps her guard as tight as she can, Malese herding her around the ring with her punches, keeping watch though for any counters from her opponent.
Who does try to step out with a right cross, Malese ducks under and lands an uppercut to put Freema back onto her heels.
The rookie keeping the pressure on as she pounds the guard of her opponent, trying to finish this now as even the referee watches closely to see whether to step in.
But the bell rings to end the round; Freema rubbing her stomach, clearly is in a bad way as she sits on her stool and stares at the canvas, Denise trying to rouse her for a final run to the finish line.
While in the other corner, Taryn working to keep Malese loose and limber, keeps pointing out what she needs to do as she smells blood in the water.
Round 8:
FREEMA COMES OUT, BUT MALESE IS QUICK TO LASH AWAY TO THE BODY OF AGYEMAN, WHO CRIES OUT AND A HARD RIGHT SEEMS TO MOULD IT'S WAY INTO THE ABS OF FREEMA TO PUT HER ONTO HER KNEES.
The referee again is counting 1...2....3...4... Again Freema spits out her gumshield 5...6...7.. Freema though can't find the strength this time to get up though, 8...9...10 and the fight is over!

Winner Malese Jow KO Round 8

After:
Malese is quick to rush over and check on Freema, who grimaces as she sits up, still trying to catch her breath even now as both sets of coaches work on the fighters.
Denise and Taryn have some history, scowling at each other as they wash their fighters down, who look more happy to see each other, even after being the ones to batter each other tonight.
After they both feel up to it, they stand and embrace to a round of applause from the fans, the girls kept things professional and gave it their all.
Finishing up; Freema giving Malese the ring as BBU reporter Georgie Thompson enters the ring to get a word from the winner.
When asked about the closeness with her opponent, Malese reveals that "the fact is that Freema stepped up when I needed a fight, we searched through several names but she came to us as she wanted to give me this test and the rest was history as they say"
Malese adds "she reminded people tonight why she is one of the toughest around, I have to admit that hearing she went 10 rounds with Jenna Louise Coleman had me worried, but Ivana told me to just give my all and it proved good enough tonight"
On her future? "I do want to do this again, when and who against? No clue as no I'm not part of the Girls Friday stable, I want to thank Taryn though for working with me and of course my costars for helping me out"
Smiling warmly; she ends her statement with "keep watch for me OK guys?" Putting her thumbs up and can be seen giggling as the fans give her a resounding cheer in response.
Leaving the ring, she's earned herself a drink in the locker room, she'll also be supporting her friends as they look to get wins on the board too.
