Zara Holland vs Rhiannon Fish (Kear's Kats vs Lioness Club) (2-1, 2 KO vs 9-6, 6 KO) Results & Story: Vassago
BEFORE: Former Miss Great Britian Zara Holland is ready to resume her boxing career that stalled when she allegedly demanded too much cash to take part in a JMD campaign that was eventually put on hold. Meanwhile Rhiannon Fish took even a longer time off following a vicious beating she received at the hands of Holland's stablemate Stephanie Davis over 18 months ago and is reported to be walking on this ice around North London. Whatever the case, both girls would really use a victory tonight and Charlie Webster can't predict an outright favorite which makes this contest a real treat for the neutral fans. Both the Kats and Lionesses go a long way back so one can expect a proper dose of fireworks next!
Zara Holland wears a light blue bikini set and white gloves. Long blonde hair straight. Rhiannon Fish wears a golden bikini top, green hotpants and matching green gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1: Zara charges from her stool like she's on speed dial and hooks up with the Aussie guard to wrap Rhiannon into instant head-rocking misery. The proud brunette was looking to blend into the action in laid-back fashion but Holland just raised the bar from the word go and now takes full advantage of the circumstances. She rips through the leaky guard and staggers the older girl on her heels before a quick hook on the liver area makes Fish scream out in pain! Ugh! The Lioness Club fans gathered around KO Club didn't expect that to happen even though Zara has left enough clues about her short fuse approach already. She simply enjoys delivering a proper beating and Rhiannon's face earns the rough treatment during a high-octane but otherwise one-sided opener. The Aussie actress drops back to the ropes in a desperate attempt to shake off the heat but gets caved into a punchbag mode with Holland ripping it right through her cumbersome guard. Only the bell salavages the Lioness pride and coach Mel B. is required to perform immediate emergency check during the first interval already!
Round 2: Rhiannon tries to up the pace here but she's no match to Zara's swarming approach that allows her to pick off the stagnant brunette from point-blank range again. Ugh! It's like the former disgraced pageant winner tries to knock her head off here and she does the best Stephanie Davis impression when she blasts a subdued Aussie to the corner and lays it into her guts! Rhiannon caves in again and she badly outclassed here in wake of the furious leather rush; Zara looks anything but rusty on her comeback and keeps hassling the aching Lioness who can barely contain the spasms as she takes a pasting to the body that leaves her trembling on jelly knees come the bell. One has to admire Holland's push for the ultimate destruction though, the girl won't take any prisoners and the Kats head trainer Gail Kim has every right to display that huge grin on her face!
Round 3: It's all Holland here in the thrid again and Fish is almost too scared to throw a punch now. She tries to escape the pageant's heat in mid-distance but lacks speed to make it happen before almost tripping over her own feet in a frantic defensive scramble. And here comes Zara who BLASTS the struggling Aussie on the nose and connects with a brutal uppercut follow up THAT SENDS RHIANNON DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE!!! Well, that wasn't exactly a shocking turn of events and Fish looks up at coach Brown and shakes her head in disgust. She tries to hold back the tears but there's no Lioness quitting inside their HQ so the banged up 'Home & Away' actress is send back to the wolves. And Zara wastes little time in blasting the aching foe all over the ring, she disposes of the high guard and makes steady contact through an uppercut route that slumps the brunette's chin and leaves her screaming her heart out at the bell. Another quick hook finds the left ear before a nasty right drills the nose AND DUMPS FISH INTO SPASMS. The Aussie girl loses her footing and crashes down in the corner where she just refuses to make another recovery attempt which brings this natsy beatdown to a conclusion. KO3 Zara Holland!!!
AFTER: That was as impressive as it gets for the former pageant winner and 'Love Island' contestant. Stephanie Davis might have stolen all the news with her Boxing Day PPV destruction of veteran Kara Tointon but the Kear's Kats have suddenly a serious contenders' duell in the flyweight division which should make more noise next season already. Gail Kim probably hasn't felt this good about title opportunity since the peak days of Helen Flanagan!
On the other hand Rhiannon Fish simply cratered underneath a gunslinging effort from Holland and coach Mel B. is forced to answer some really tough questions. The plan for the brunette stunner is to send her back Down Under where she can find her mojo against fellow 'Home & Away' and 'Neighbours' soap opera stalwarts. That's unless Ellen Page actually comes over from Canada to enforce some national pride. Rhiannon being born in Calgary still ticks that North American box and coach Amanda Tapping seems rather desperate to find easy success following the recent stable overhaul.
Final result: Zara Holland def. Rhiannon Fish KO3.
