BEFORE: Toni Garrn might call Hamburg her home but Sylvie Meis is equally as popular around these walls thanks to her ex-husband's tenure as a member of the HSV football club. Moreover the blonde lingerie model remains very active as TV showgirl and is widely regarded as one of the true unsung heroes of the BBU roster. She gets the Main Event billing here in the Barclaycard Arena and if this match-up happened like ten years ago, it would have been a real elite classic.

One can argue Rachel Stevens doesn't enjoy as much attention as she did in the previous decade but she remains one of the hottest English singers around and could sell tickets just about anywhere in Europe. Her boxing career hasn't matched her glamour market however Georgie Thompson hopes she can pull off the upset and defeat the Dutch model in her adopted backyard tonight!

Round 1:
Rachel has the height & reach advantage over her opponent but she comes out visibly sluggish and Sylvie pounces on the opportunity in confident fashion. She splits the brunette's mitts with ease and stacks up the early punches while Rachel tries to find her range in a hurried attempt to prevent the Dutch aggression. Meis just lets it rip in close range though and outworks the singer during the opening minute which fuels the Hamburg audience's reaction and it only gets louder when Stevens is forced to yield real estate before disappearing behind a high earmuff along the ropes. Sylvie gets vocal as she drills through her opponent's guard and wraps her into a complete standstill come the final stretch. Ugh! Stevens can't even land a proper jab here as her head snaps back repeatedly under the onslaught and Georgie Thompson ponders how would have the singer's old coach Gail Kim reacted to this forgettable performance.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second as Meis quickly establishes the close range control and stacks up punches straight up the middle to rock Stevens' head back & forth. Ugh! The brunette moans out in her efforts to break free from the leather stalking but sinks on her knees and soaks up more punishment with Meis getting even louder in the proccess. The Dutch beauty hauls in a couple of heavy uppercuts on the jaw that drops the singer's guard by the wayside and delivers a cross hook follow up that slams Rachel on the brow ridge AND DROPS HER ONTO HER BUM in slam dunk fashion! The Hamburg crowd errupts in joy while Georgie Thompson blames the singer's poor physical shape for such a quick demise here. Still, Rachel's pride doesn't allow her to check out in what would be a new career-low however Sylvie's eyes glare with disdain and she yells something at the ref before bursting into laughs. She surely enjoys this performance, folks! Rachel tries to brawl herself back into contention and allthough she lands a couple of crisp hooks on the blonde's lips, she gets clubbed to the solar plexus in response and bends forward amid more spasms which only allows the lingerie model to blast through her midsection thereafter and leave her breathless at the bell.

Round 3:
Stevens comes out flying as if she has nothing to lose following that knockdown already but her spirited aerial attack finds little success as the agile Dutchwoman dances around her efforts and spends the opening minute in a controlled retreat. Rachel then commits the classic mistake and leans forward too much, she grazes the model's right cheek but then whiffs through the air and gets WHACKED with a nasty left hook on the eye that sinks her on more jelly legs. Uh-oh! The English singer yells out in pain and freezes with her eyes closed just as the blonde NAILS her with a vicious left hook on the jaw before adding a belting strike to the navel. Stevens' butt drops so low she can barely maintain her balance and another follow up from Meis is far from perfect but the embattled singer is so vulnerable right now, it doesn't even matter. She bounces off the top of Rachel's forehead BUT STILL PUTS HER DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE AGAIN!!! The Hamburg crowd is simply loving this sight and poor Stevens takes a full eight count before a sluggish-looking recovery. She nods back to the referee but Georgie thinks she's mentally damaged beyond repair and Sylvie simply crashes into her face following the command. She bends the dark-haired foe backwards and reels her onto the ropes in hurry-up fashion before dissecting the guard in no time. Ugh! Rachel doesn't have the strenght to fend off the barrage anymore and Sylvie knocks plenty of leather straight up the middle which cuts the brunette up around the left brow ridge. The dark ponytail begins to fly around as Stevens sinks on jelly knees in the corner and when she screams out her loudest of the night, it's basically all over. Her gloves slide by her hips and she enters the punchbag mode; Meis realizes that too and holds back on the last punch just as the REF CHARGES IN and spares everyone the ugly part. TKO3 Sylvie Meis!!!

AFTER: Sylvie might well be at the height of her BBU powers even though the crossover FCBA career might keep her too occupied to mount a proper run at the flyweight title anytime soon. She dwells on the euphoric reaction from the audience and pumps the gloves high in the air while the medics attend to the banged up Stevens in the corner. The proud English singer hides her face behind the gloves and maybe there are tears coming from her eyes now but she got badly exposed by a fellow veteran tonight and that's the really distressing part. It's one thing to get blown away by an upstart like Lacey Banghard and a completely different one when the woman in question is into her late 30s like the Dutch model.
