Sarah Harding vs Olympia Valance

BEFORE:
There's nothing really personal about Olympia Valance going after the bantamweight members of Girls Aloud however the Aussie model really wants to establish herself as a genuine title prospect to follow up on her half-sister's glamour profile.
One could say that winning the BBU title will finally open the elite door and remove Olympia from the sidekick shadows that continue to plague her otherwise successful start to female celebrity boxing.

She's dispatched Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts in her last two outings but Sarah Harding is widely regarded as an upgrade over her fellow Girls Aloud members thanks to her extended tenure in the lightweight division.
This being said, the partisan Melbourne crowd gives Valance a solid support to lean on and even BBU TV's Denise van Outen doesn't want to bet against her despite holding a lifelong grudge on blonde vs brunette rivalry.

Round 1:
Harding knows she's public enemy #1 in Melbourne tonight but jumps into a hectic jabbing frenzy trying to neutralize Olympia's alleged advantage.
Perhaps the brunette anticipated a defensive start from the UK veteran but whatever the case, she gets whooped straight up the middle and disappears behind a tight earmuff while Sarah barks in her efforts to inflict as much damage as possible. She really lays it into the brunette's guts and wobbles her backwards but doesn't find that extra touch to sink the younger woman on her heels.
Olympia groans behind the guard but survives the onslaught and smacks the singer with a nasty hook to finally release some pressure; she then jumps to the side and spends the final minute in mid-range which proves problematic for Harding to overcome. Valance might not be a speed demon across the boards but Harding really struggles to find her moves and loses her grip on the action come the bell.

Round 2:
Sarah is more of a puncher and even a genuine slugger but much more durable than her bandmates Walsh and Roberts so Girls Friday coach Lauren Berlingeri comes up with a different plan and lures the singer into aggressive attacks that Olympia neutralizes with her superior footwork. Sarah wastes a lot of energy in a fruitless chase of her quick-moving opponent and the Melbourne crowd needs to find plenty of patience to embrace the exact nature of the brunette's tactics.
Even Denise van Outen sounds a little puzzled in the booth but all these single punches from the blonde veteran make no impression on the agile model who displays a huge grin at the bell while Harding spits out her gumshield in frustration.

Round 3:
The blonde singer jumps into another hectic pursuit of the agile model but this time the counter-punching effort slows the veteran down much quicker than before and Olympia shows enough courage to step right up and punish Sarah's chin with a proper uppercut drill.
Ugh! Harding gets caught out in close range and wobbles on her heels while the brunette SLAMS a right cross on her nose before adding another nasty blow on the brow ridge.
Sarah wobbles again and loses her guard but she fails to lock a clinch and eats a flurry of shots from point-blan range that lifts her off her feet and sends spinning into the ropes!
The Docklands Stadium roars in support and Olympia pounces on the vulnerable foe; she keeps raining punches straight up the middle and literally glues the hapless blonde to the ropes.
She loses her high-octane execution come the final stretch but Sarah's soaked up so many punches she only wants to hang on for the bell according to van Outen.
The Lioness coach Mel B. looks equally distraught and the bell couldn't really come any sooner to escort the English tourist on some very wobbly legs to her corner.

Round 4:
Sarah tries to recover from the poor showing through another aggressive approach but she's no match for Olynpia's agility and swings woefully wide of the target in the early going which only fuels the Aussie roar from the stands.
Olympia herself gets vocal as she enforces the counter-punching drill to the extreme and bashes right through the blone's leaky guard. Harding has seen it all in the ring but even her gatekeeping brilliance proves inferior to the brunette's elite ambitions right now and she gets promptly clobbered back to the ropes where Valance maintains the head-hunting pursuit to trap her along the turnbuckle for most of the round. Ugh! Even Mel B.'s screams can't change the tune of the play here; Sarah struggles to embrace the high-octane punishment and leans over the ropes while still covering her face but that only allows Olympia to scythe across her exposed midsection and a wild harpoon on the solar plexus makes the singer moan out her loudest... another brutal punch to the liver FOLDS HARDING INTO SPASMS and sends her crashing down on her knees!!!! And it's a bad one for the tourist who tries to delay the count by spitting out her gumshield however the ref shows her no sympathy and delivers the full eight count before assessing the damage. Harding gathers her thoughts while kneeling in the corner but she's given thumbs up from the man in charge as Olympia tackles her immediately after the command and keeps her pressed against the turnbuckle.
It's a slugging affair in the corner now as Sarah has nothing to lose but Valance is simply brutally effective as she whacks the older woman against the nasal ridge and cuts her up before blasting another vicious harpoon to the solar plexus that removes all the air from the blonde's throat AND SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES again!!!
This time the proud tourist leans her head against the boards and just can't spit out her surrender any sooner!!! The count reaches six before the referee waves it off as he notices Harding is all done here! KO4 Olympia Valance!!!

After:
The victorious model plants her foot on the fallen blonde's back and stomps her face-down on the canvas before waving her glove at Mel B. in the Lioness corner: "That's all you got?", she laughs off the trainer's attempt to enter the ring but in all honesty, that's indeed the last of the Girls Aloud members she has dispatched tonight and even Denise van Outen wonders what happens next with the impressive brunette's schedule.
Is she truly ready for the elite step? In-house competition from Poppy Drayton and Sara Sampaio might prove a little problematic but Australia is a very important market for the BBU front office so we should hear a lot about the 'other' Ms Valance really soon.
Coach Lauren Berlingeri refuses to address the details but one should expect a lofty bonus from Girls Friday's manager Harry Keegan as the Newcastle-based stable takes another massive scalp to further establish itself as the top organization in the BBU right now. Even Denise van Outen sounds a little jealous in the booth!
