Intro:
We are roughly at the halfway point of the Contender 6 tournament; this time we head to Liverpool's Echo Arena with a fight that could main event anywhere in the world, as Jenna Louise Coleman fights Diana Korkunova in surprisingly our opening bout.
Jenna is 31 years old, she stands 5'2 and holds a record of 43 wins, 40 by knockout and 10 defeats, she is also a former BBU flyweight champion and an FCBA JMD champion.
Diana is 21 years old, she stands 5'5 and holds a record of 6 wins, all by knockout and 4 defeats, she won the Real Views Rookie of the year award for 2017.
In the tournament standings; both are equal third place with 1 win and 1 defeat so far, a loss her most likely ending their run to the title.

As throughout the tournament; the fighters were interviewed at their stables, with Jenna commenting on her lost in the last round of the tournament.
"I have had to go to hostile territory throughout this tournament, so it will be nice to go into a fight with fans supporting both of us and not just my opponent, though I won't take Tiffany beating me as the crowds fault, she beat me fair and square"
On this fight, she says "but Diana I hope knows I am not in the mood for her, I've got big plans for the year and I am slightly off course, a simple reminding of the order I feel is in need and Diana will learn not to mess with me"
She finishes with "my tournament future depends on this; so keep watch boys and girls because the real Jenna is coming out to play now"
While Diana looks understandably more chipper in her interview; saying "I'm so happy to have gotten my first win in this tournament and while I've heard Jenna is sore over her own defeat, I am ready to show the world who I am!"
Calming down slightly; Diana continues "I have to say though; I have big respect for Jenna, she is a former champion and I can say Hall of Famer, I can beat her though as physically, this fight is mine"
Ending with "I can't wait to fight in Liverpool and come one step closer to holding the BBU flyweight title after this tournament is over"

Fight night; out comes Jenna with Nicole Ritchie by her side, she is wearing her world famous Tardius blue sports bra, matching shorts, shoes and gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail.
She looks more happier her then her first two tournament bouts, getting a good cheer from the masses who've turned up, she even bumps fists with a few guys at ringside, then climbs into the ring.
Jenna gives the fans a wave as she jogs around the ring, soon enough finishing the lap and begins stretching in her corner to limber up for this stern test.
Now out comes Diana with coach Henry Cavill, she is wearing her bubblegum pink style sports bra, matching shorts, shoes and gloves, while her hair is braided.
She jogs to the ring with a big beaming grin for all her fans, very excited by the prospect of fighting a legend as she looks to have goosebumps on her as she steps into the ring.
Climbing the bottom ropes in her corner; Diana blows kisses to the fans and winks to the camera before she jumps down, ready to get this on.
Both are brought to the ring centre; no lack of confidence here it seems as the fighters smile as they stare each other down.
Asked to touch gloves, they nod and touch them respectfully up; then head to their corners to begin 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters, with Jenna looking to keep her guard tight, allowing Diana to throw jabs at her early as she looks to test the youngsters hand speed.
Jenna blocks most of the punches and tries to slip to the inside, but Diana steps back and catches her across her cheek with a left cross.
The cagey start continues as the girls circle, Diana landing the cleaner punches as she fights on the outside; keeping Jenna back with her punches landing over the guard to the top of her head.
Again Jenna dips down to duck a straight and moves to the inside, working the body of Korkunova as she tries to chop down the bigger fighter, moving back out when Diana tries to land a counter strike.
Jenna showing why she was a champion with her movement allowing with to slip in and out of the range of Diana, landing chopping shots to her cheeks and several punches to her abs.
But Diana also shows why people view her as a future champion, leaning out the way of a right cross at her chin and cracking Jenna with a right of her own.
Diana landing uses the opening to bash Jenna to the face with three punches that knock the smaller fighters head back.
The round ends with Diana finishing strongly, smiling as she dances back to her corner and gets a nod from Henry on a good round for her.
Meanwhile Jenna looks over at Diana with almost a questioning look, trying to work out Diana as she sees the cheery act and yet has felt her power, which isn't friendly to say the least.

Round 2:
Again Diana starts off at range, with Jenna dancing around her with her punches digging into the abs of the youngster but she keeps getting caught coming in with straight punches.
Till Diana throws a feint and lands the real right cross to the top of Jenna's head and adds a snapping jab to the nose of Coleman to knock her head back.
Now Diana steps up a gear, forcing Jenna to the outside of the ring as she plays Queen of the castle it seems with the ring centre, drilling her punches into the guard of her opponent to keep her back.
Jenna looking a little frustrated as she is forced behind her guard, struggling to find a way in to strike as Diana just keeps bashing her back.
Till Jenna finds a way through by parrying a straight and drilling Diana on her chin with a jab, quickly landing a right cross to finally get something going this round.
It leads to the fighters trading in tight, Jenna normally likes to move in and out, make her opponent guess what she is going to do, but she is fuming at being kept under wraps for so long.
Diana surprises the crowd though by stepping back out the way of a right and cracking Jenna on her chin with an uppercut that knocks her back.
The bell rings not long after arguably perfectly for Jenna as she shakes her head and admits to Nicole as she gets to her corner "she's good"
While Diana chats away to Henry, enjoying getting the sweat washed off her and seeing the look of annoyance on Jenna's face.

Round 3:
Once again Diana starts off strong with that reach advantage and her hand speed proving difficult for Jenna to get around.
Till she feints her attack; making Korkunova flinch and let's Jenna slip inside to land the real right and left under the ribs of her bigger rival.
Then she lands a vicious looking right across the cheek of Diana, who suddenly finds herself being forced onto her heels and her guard being tested.
Jenna drives back Diana along the ropes, targeting her body especially as clearly she believes she needs to wear her younger opponent out.
To the credit of Diana, she deflects a body shot and fires out of her guard, leading to a hot blooded exchange between them, both landing some hard punches across the others cheeks.
Till Jenna dips under a straight and comes back up with an overhand left and a right cross, that puts Diana back behind her guard as the former champion gets back to work.
Diana soon clinches up with Jenna to force the referee to step in, once they are apart, the Siren fighter moves back into space to work from.
Once free Diana manages to look better as seconds tick away and the fighters trade single punches as the move around each other, looking for an angle to strike.
The bell rings though and both fighters turn to head to their corners without incident, Jenna knowing she has to be on the scoreboard finally has a hint of a smile.
Diana meanwhile looks to fully grasp who she is in the ring with as she looks serious, talking to Henry on tactics and how to control such a strong fighter.

Round 4:
Back out come the fighters with more determined looks on their faces, Diana bouncing more on her toes, looking to box on the outside once again.
But Jenna is finally in her groove it seems, moving her head more to dodge punches and able to get into range to land her punches to the body and face of her opponent.
The Brit ducks a right hook and comes back with an overhand right that knocks Diana onto her heels, leading to Jenna again able to drive her younger opponent towards the ropes.
Diana though shoves her back and retreats back so she can reset herself, leading to both fighters trading single punches as they circle.
Jenna tries to slip inside but Diana steps back and counters with a double jab to the top of her head to make her think twice on that approach.
Soon though Jenna parries a straight and comes inside to force a classic flyweight exchange, the fighters going toe to toe in tight with Coleman looking the stronger as she aggressively rips away at the body of Korkunova.
Who is gasping out with each hit and clinches up with Jenna, leading to both snarling and grappling near the ropes till the referee can break them apart.
Separated again; Diana manages to be elusive as the round comes to a close, rifling her jab between the mitts of Jenna to ward her back and just before the bell, she lands a right cross that turns her older opponent's head as the round ends.
This time both fighters give each other a hard look, knowing they've both had success in the fight up to now and frankly getting sick of their opponent.
Getting back to their corners; Jenna's face is marked up with a small mouse forming under her leg eye, while Diana's body is starting to redden up and her face has a few marks to show how physical this is getting.

Round 5:
The fighters come out and meet at the ring centre with Jenna looking to keep her momentum going, slipping under a straight to dig away to the ribs and abs of her opponent.
Who nudges her back with her left shoulder and LANDS AN UPPERCUT THAT ROCKS JENNA BACKWARDS! THE BRIT COVERING UP AS DIANA THROWS A FLURRY TOWARDS HER HEAD.
Jenna retreating as Diana backs her around the ring, trying to open her up to finish this as the Brit is hurting, a straight finds it's way through the guard of Coleman to knock her onto the ropes.
Diana bangs away at her gloves; the crowd roaring her on as her eyes are locked onto the former champion, who reminds people of her toughness to pull Diana into a clinch, making the youngster cry out in frustration.
The referee steps in to break the fighters apart, with Jenna quick to move back; shaking her head to clear it as Diana is too keen to get to her, the referee nudging her back and warning her to listen to him.
Allowed to fight again; Diana herds Jenna around the ring with her headhunting punches, but Coleman seems to have found her feet again as she moves backwards and accepts she has lost this round.
The bell ringing with Diana looking frustrated surprisingly; she had Jenna on the ropes and she couldn't finish it, not yet anyway and Henry tells her "keep on her OK when the bell rings, keep her on the ropes and finish this"
The Lookout corner works hard on waking Jenna fully up, blood trickles from a cut under her left eye; Jenna talks about how good Diana is to Nicole but says "I am going to hurt her so she knows where we truly stand" banging her gloves together before standing up for the bell.

Round 6:
Diana looks to finish this as she gets right at Jenna, whose forced to fight off the backfoot as the youngster digs away at her face through her gloves.
A missed right hook by Diana leaves her open, AN OVERHAND RIGHT FROM JENNA CONNECTS WITH THE TEMPLE OF DIANA! WHO STUMBLES BACK.
Diana now is the one covering up as Jenna shoves into her to pin her on the ropes, before opening up on the body of her opponent, forcing loud groans from Korkunova.
Who is forced to clinch up; the referee breaks the two apart with Jenna not getting overexcited like Diana did in this situation.
Diana fighting off the back foot; trying to keep Jenna off of her as the crowd are split between the fighters, as the older fighter stalks her prey.
A missed left cross let's Jenna come in to land another two body shots and one up to the cheek of Diana to knock her back towards the ropes.
Diana trying to fire back; both fighters trading straight shots to the others face as Diana manages to strike that cut of Jenna to force her off her to get a breather.
The round ends with Jenna nodding at Diana, seeing that she is tough as well as skillful, but she tells Nicole "I've rocked her now I am going to finish the job"
While the Sirens work on trying to get Diana ready for the next round; she is blinking and rubbing her head as she tries to shake the cobwebs and get back in control of the fight.

Round 7:
Jenna hunting Diana down, both trading jabs and the youngster is able to keep the distance safe in the early going.
The Russian manages to land several punches onto the cut of Jenna to force her back a step, Diana starting to get back some momentum after struggling.
But Jenna slips past a straight and cracks Diana on the chin with a right hook; DIANA STUMBLES BACK A STEP BEFORE A LEFT HOOK CATCHES HER AND DOWN GOES DIANA TO HER BACK!
The referee begins to count as Jenna jogs over to a neutral corner, 1..2...3...4...5.. Diana crawls slowly to the ropes 6...7...8 getting her hands on them but as she tries to pull herself up, she ends up slumped against them 9...10 and counted out!

Winner Jenna Louise Coleman KO Round 7

After:
Jenna scores the win but it was far from comfortable as her face shows, blood running from the cut and marked up.
Taking her gloves off; Jenna heads over to Diana and puts her hand out to her, with Diana lifting her arm up and is helped up by the winner in a great show of respect.
Before Jenna heads to her corner to be cleaned up and Henry rushes out to help Diana back to her corner, both bruised fighters happy to be cleaned up and taking the moment to breath.
The fighters head to the ring centre with the final result being announced and Jenna smiling warmly to her fans as her arm is raised.

As Diana looks understandably upset, Jenna makes sure to go over to her and tells her "that was some fight; you gave me a hell of a beating and someday you will be a champion, just don't expect to beat me" winking at that last part.
That gets Diana back to her cheery self, nodding her thanks to Jenna and heads out the ring happier with herself and knows that she has to learn to finish fights at this level more cleaner then this.
She knows that next on her hitlist is Stephanie Davis, an interesting fight between two youngsters looking to make a statement in this tournament.

In the ring; Jenna bows and blows kisses to the fans, her tournament record moves to 2 and 1 now, keeping her in the hunt for the title shot and regaining her title back in her mind.
Next is Lily Allen; one of her bitter enemies in the ring and she'll be watching the next fight closely to see if Lily continues her unbeaten run in this tournament.
Nicole pats her on her back as they leave the ring together, smiling as they head up the ramp, though Jenna will just want to sit and relax right now.
