(Kear's Kat's vs Lioness Club)

Intro:
The main event of tonight's card sees two local girls do battle for their first win in this Contender 6 tournament, Stephanie Davis meets Heidi Range in Liverpool's Echo Arena.
Stephanie is 25 years old, stands 5'2 and holds a record of 6 wins, all by knockout and 2 defeats.
Heidi is 34 years old, also stands 5'2 and holds a record of 15 wins, 13 by knockout and 11 defeats.
Both as stated have not won a fight yet since this tournament begun in January, 2 defeats so far has them currently battling not to be whitewashed.

Stephanie understandably is annoyed at herself "I can't believe I have started so badly, I thought it was luck at first but I'm at fault and now I will take steps to ensure I am not bottom of the tournament"
On her opponent "I know people will think me and Heidi are friends, frankly she's too old for me to bother with outside the ring, inside it I am going to break her jaw and make sure she doesn't get any wins for the rest of her career after I deal with her" before heading to train.
Heidi looks stumped as she says "I honestly don't know how the hell I am in such a slump! I am too good to be in this position"
The interviewer shows Heidi a recording of Steph's earlier interview, with Heidi's face turning red as she sputters "what a bytch"
"I hope she has insurance as I am going to batter her around the arena, they'll have to drag me off her because I'm going to ruin that f***ing w****" roars Heidi before she storms off.

Fight night, out comes Gail Kim with her fighter Stephanie Davis dancing behind her on her toes, no Liverpool style gear tonight as agreed upon by both fighters as rumoured seems to be true.
Instead Steph is wearing a lime green sports bra, matching trunks, gloves and shoes, her brunette hair is braided for action.
Heading to the ring, she looks to enjoy the reaction from the crowd, a loud roar coming from them, as she steps into the ring; she pumps her fists into the air with a big grin on her face.
Now out comes Heidi Range with Mel B, she is wearing a black sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, with her blonde hair in a ponytail.
She waves her hands in the air to get the fans standing as she jogs to the ring with a big smile on her face, loving fighting in front of her fans.
Though as she steps into the ring, her and Stephanie's demeanor changes as their eyes meet, with Stephanie waving Heidi to bring it, if not for the referee holding her back she very well would.
He warns both of them to keep this clean and professional, though they both look ready to charge each other when given the chance.
No glove touch is asked as the girls trade insults across the ring, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of flyweight action.

Round 1:
Both women rush out their corners at the bell; no semblance of defence as they go toe to toe and the crowd is roaring both fighters on.
Their heads nearly clash as they lunge in with punches, Stephanie ripping in two body shots seems to have won the brutal exchange.
Till Heidi uses her experience; holding onto Stephanie's right with her left arm and hammering her right into the glove of the youngster that is protecting her face as it becomes almost like a street fight.
The referee breaking them apart and warning Heidi to keep things clean, Stephanie chomping at the bit to get at her bitter rival.
Back at it goes the fighters with Stephanie working better when her hands are allowed to go, while Heidi keeps making things scruffy, using her left forearm to shove Davis back and land a right over the top to back her off.
This is far from a technical round as they continue to swing wildly, their punches starting to find thin air as they finally start to duck and weave.
Till the final ten seconds buzzer rings and the fighters clash bodies trying to swing hooks at the same time, leading to them grappling till the bell.
Where the referee has to pull them apart and hold both angry women back, with both being warned to calm down and fight cleanly.
Their coaches help to guide them back to their corners, already both are marked up after what has to be deemed a street fight then a boxing match so far.
The crowd seem to eat it up, with comments heard like "that's why we are the toughest" talking about Liverpudlians, with the crowd proud of these two fighters laying it on the line right from the start.

Round 2:
Back out come the fighters with Stephanie pushing again to get into the face of Heidi, who seems up for the challenge as the fighters brawl once more.
This time Stephanie takes charge of the inside fighting; digging two body shots in before a left cross turns Heidi's head as that raw power of Stephanie begins to show itself.
The older fighter forced to cover up as Stephanie bangs away at her guard, driving her back around the ring as the Davis fans start screaming for her, while Heidi's fans are cheering for her to fight back.
But Heidi is pinned behind her guard as Stephanie keeps throwing punch after punch at her head, to Range's credit though; she is deflecting most of the punches
Till Stephanie misses with a right hook as Heidi dips under it and moves into space, with a short sharp left to the body as she goes past.
Heidi starting to box off the back foot as Stephanie rushes too much to get on the attack, leading to her getting clipped on her nose by Range.
Stephanie not able to get back inside as the seconds tick away with the fighters trading single punches to the others face as they circle.
The bell rings with the girls glaring at each other, Stephanie looking happier as she sits down with Gail Kim telling her to keep focused.
While Heidi looks to Mel B for advice, though her last part of the round was actually the strongest part of her fight so far.

Round 3:
Heidi having to weather an early storm, Stephanie throwing a flurry of punches at her head, the blonde blocking most of the shots with several punches digging off her face.
A missed left cross gives Heidi a chance to counter with a double jab off the nose of Stephanie, before leaning out the way of a wild right misses.
Heidi countering each time Stephanie misses, blooding her lips with several straight punches and forcing Davis to step back to try to think this problem through after losing her focus.
But the Lioness fighter keeps on the front foot to keep the pressure on Stephanie, hitting Stephanie through her mitts onto her bloody lips to make her wince.
A right cross knocks Stephanie back onto the ropes, Stephanie firing back leading to another fiery exchange between the girls.
Stephanie manages to land an uppercut to knock Heidi's head back, with the Hollyoaks star backing Range back towards the ring centre, with Heidi covering up tightly to block more blows smacking her face.
Late in the round with Heidi slamming a jab off the bloody lips of Stephanie to her a chance to step back and get a breath after the Kear's Kat's fighter was in her face.
The bell rings with Stephanie looking pissed off, she is annoyed that she got caught, Gail especially is as she roars at her for wasting her energy with wild swings.
While the Lioness corner looks more relieved after getting a foothold in the fight, though her cheeks are looking pink.

Round 4:
Out come the fighters with Stephanie again trying to get into the face of Heidi, who boxes off the backfoot; catching the youngster on her bloody lips to make her back up.
Stephanie and Heidi trading stiff straights, the blonde winning the exchanges by moving her head around more then her opponent to dodge.
But Stephanie shows her own speed by slipping past a right and LANDS A RIGHT CROSS AND A LEFT HOOK TO KNOCK RANGE BACK, WITH AN UPPERCUT PUTTING HEIDI ONTO HER BACKSIDE!
Heidi is blinking as she sits on the canvas, 1...2..3...4...5.. Heidi shaking her head to clear some cobwebs out and begins to shove her way up 6...7...8 standing up to beat the count.
The referee let's them continue with Stephanie trying to get right at Heidi to try and finish this, but she is held onto by the wily veteran, whose still feeling the knockdown.
Stephanie can be heard shouting "get the f*** off me!" With the referee needed to break them apart with Stephanie heard to sarcastically say "thank you"
Again Stephanie keeps Heidi on the defensive, driving up the middle with her punches, finding gloves or forearm though as Range keeps things tight.
The bell rings with Heidi looking around at the crowd, looking embarrassed at being put down, before she heads to her corner and has Mel B shouting at her.
The opposite corner looking much happier, Stephanie looks like she wants to rush across the ring now, Gail working to keep her focused as she cleans her up.

Round 5:
Heidi holding her gloves more tighter to her face and moves more on the outside with her punches coming out of the guard more now.
Stephanie keeping the pressure on her opponent, looking to break open that guard, banging away at the body of the blonde.
But she is getting caught on her lips to stop her powering forward as she would like, with Heidi starting to loosen up more to show the effects of the knockdown are going.
Leading to both now exchanging more evenly as Heidi works hard to keep Davis from getting into the inside, the fighters trading stiff punches to the others faces.
Stephanie manages to parry a jab and comes inside to land two digging shots to the abs, finding gloves though with her next two up top.
It forces Heidi on the backfoot though, with Stephanie testing that guard out with quickfire combos thrown, opening up a gap for two straight punches to smack her lips to make her opponent cry out.
That forces Heidi near a set of ropes; Stephanie's eyes lighting up as she throws a flurry of punches at the head of Heidi, who blocks some punches but eats some to her face.
The bell rings not long after though before Stephanie can really chew away at the face of Heidi, cutting her lips to even the score on that front.
Heidi again gets told off Mel to pick things up, she is behind and if this keeps up the fight is going to pass her by and the tournament as a whole will be a waste.
While Gail wipes down her fighter and tells her "keep this up! You have her on the ropes! Now push her the rest of the way out this fight right!" With Stephanie banging her gloves together and standing up ready for the bell.

Round 6:
Stephanie again looks to put the pressure up the centre, snapping her punches off the gloves of Heidi, backing the singer up several steps.
Before Heidi ducks a right hook and holds onto the actress, frustrating her as they trade insults, with the referee again needing to step in to break them up.
Apart once more; Stephanie tries to get back at Heidi, missing with a left cross as Heidi starts dipping more, the blonde landing to the body as she forces more misses.
Stephanie looks frustrated as she starts swinging more hooks to try and end this, Heidi reading her movement though and blocking the shots or moving her head as best she can.
A MISSED RIGHT HOOK THAT SAILS OVER THE HEAD OF HEIDI LEAVES STEPH OPEN, AN OVERHAND RIGHT LANDS ON HER TEMPLE AND HER LEGS WOBBLE, A FOLLOW UP RIGHT HOOK ON HER CHIN SENDS HER CRUMBLING TO HER BACK!
The referee counting as Stephanie looks up 1...2...3....4... She has a glazed look over her eyes, 5...6...7...8...9...10 Stephanie just stays down and is counted out!

Winner Heidi Range KO Round 6

After:
What a comeback! The crowd sitting stunned as Heidi jogs over to a corner and shouts "f***ing come on!" As the emotions of winning this heated local derby fight in front of both fighters home fans and the fact she has broke her tournament duck, everything making her emotion.
While Stephanie just laying back, staring up at the ceiling of the arena as she can't believe that she has lost after having such success.
Tears fill the eyes of Stephanie as this is the worst defeat of her career, at least that's what she is feeling right now.
Gail pulls her up to her feet, not saying anything as she is upset with her fighter, helping Davis to her corner but the coach just looks out into the crowd as the cutman works on the tearful youngster.

The Lioness side are jumping for joy; Heidi and Mel hugging, with Mel telling Heidi "you beautiful bytch!" As she looks almost like she won the fight herself the way she is celebrating.
The worry of not winning a fight in the tournament is lifted as Heidi goes 1 and 2 now, she technically has an outside chance if she can win all her fights to win the tournament.
While as Stephanie leaves the ring, she is 0 and 3 in the tournament, her perfect record coming into the tournament is gone and now the real test of character begins for her as she has 2 fights to make this tournament worthwhile for her.
But as Gail walks ahead of her; it seems there are troubles ahead in the Kear's Kat's stable, Stephanie looking wrecked right now as she has her head down following up the ramp.
Heidi though looks like she will be partying all night as she climbs out the ring and hugs some fans in the front row, before heading up the ramp with a big smile on her face.
She has the tough test of Tiffany Mulheron to look forwards to next month, soon she'll be turning her eyes to that as the night ends with Heidi getting a standing ovation by the fans.
