BEFORE: Jaime Murray's original 2018 plans included a journey to Australia where she was supposed to face some of the ACB cougars but she eventually decided to make a much shorter trip to Italy where she takes on a promising Martina Stella tonight. The blonde actress scored a couple of good wins over Liz McClarnon and Elizabeth Tan last year however Georgie Thompson believes she'd need to improve her schedule if fans & pundits should consider her as a true contender.

Martina Stella wears a navy blue bikini top, white knickers and red gloves. Long blonde hair straight. Jaime Murray wears a red bikini set and white gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Jaime is slightly taller of the two women and makes a better impression early on however Martina's fighting on home ground and neutralizes the brunette after a wild scuffle in close range where she channels her aggressive nature. She splits Jaime's high guard and sticks several punches straight on target to push the English veteran onto the ropes. Murray swings a couple of promising hooks on response but Martina crashes into her face with a nasty double combo and snaps her head back so violently that Georgie Thompson reckons she'd be better off taking that long journey to Australia after all. Stella simply rains punches like skittles here and leaves the brunette caved behind a desperate high-earmuff but there's nothing else Murray can do here to stop the Italian rout.

Round 2:
Martina jumps into another leather frenzy and Jaime doesn't have the agility to avoid the pressure. She tries to brawl herself out of trouble but gets outworked in close range and when the blonde tears a patch across her nasal ridge, it all goes downhill for the Hammersmith veteran. She gets trapped in the middle of the ring as Stella whoops her up the middle and makes her groan in pain. Another quick hooking double finds the temples and reels a wincing brunette back to the ropes where the local favorite WHACKS her with a wild piledriver on the nose. And Jaime's knees buckle in wake of that punch... There's more to come from the Italian stunner as she lays it into the older woman's guts and Murray only slumps into spasms at the bell while Stella keeps picking her off in merciless fashion until the bell.

Round 3:
Jaime looks downright shocked by the rough treatment she's received so far but she really doesn't have the speed to embrace another Italian rush and Stella opens the cut across the nasal ridge before thumping the hapless brunette on the chest. Ugh! Jaime's oxygen supply reaches critical numbers already and she simply wilts under pressure with the blonde actress dissecting her resilience from both flanks. This is too much for the Hammersmith cougar WHO TAKES A KNEE just past the one-minute mark and slumps onto all fours during the count. The Rome crowd loves this sight as Jaime has visible trouble in getting up but she eventually makes it back there at eight. Martina shouts something in native Italian and lets it fly immedately after the command. Meanwhile Murray is like glued to the canvas and fails to escape the heat. She eats a faceful of leather that reels her onto the ropes where her guard collapses for good and enables the blonde to channel the facial rearrangement mission on her helpless opponent. Ugh! And THERE COMES THE TOWEL!!! Fellow free agent Hannah Ware joined Jaime on tonight's trip to Rome and she has to spare her friend more misery. Poor Jaime hardly notices that and slumps into a complete wreck while Martina brags about her victory to a rampant ovation from the audience. TKO3 Martina Stella!!!

AFTER: Even Georgie Thompson realizes that Martina needs to stop exposing these reliable but not exactly elite-aspiring journeywomen like Murray. It's time to move up the food chain and perhaps Hannah Ware actually agrees to fight the v icious Italian sooner rather than later? What was she doing here in first place? While Helen George remains the preferred Hannah option, girls like Vera Brezhneva have found their way to enter the elite picture without actually being backed by a prominent stable. Georgie would like to know the plan going forward but this is just the first bout of the night and the hosts have much bigger ideas in store for Bianca Balti and Elisabetta Gregoraci next hence Stella remains the ultimate enigma of Italian celebrity boxing right now.
