"Yes," says Hannah with a lovely smile, "I'm surprised it's been over five years since I've fought in the FCBA. I mean, I did pretty well here, and, I DID blow Shakira's doors off in that last fight. Maybe that's why the folks from over here stopped calling. I just hope that, after I wipe out Levy tonight, they don't go quiet again."



"This girl has a ton of experience, and she's beaten good fighters," says Jane with a nod. "She's a challenge for anybody in this division. And, I just LOVE a challenge."



ROUND ONE:



O'Dell: "We're back at ringside and that's..."



McCarthy: "TERRIBLE!"



Cassie: "HERE we go..."



McCarthy: "WHY must we be SUBJECTED to such HORRIBLE music MONTH after MONTH?"



O'Dell (sighing): "The song in question is 'Never Had A Dream Come True' by S Club 7, and, coming to ringside is a charter member of that group, and one of the stars of the Sci-Fi series 'Primeval', the lovely Hannah Spearritt!"



Tess: "Spearitt making her Asylum debut, but she HAS fought a Front Street fighter before. Back in 2010, she fought a then-rising Jamie Lynn Spears, and Spears took her UD10. Jamie Lynn had beaten Song earlier that year and looked to be on her way, but, well."



McCarthy: "Weirdo and his bunch of LOSERS RUINED her. That's what happened."



O'Dell: "Spearritt into the ring and helped off with the robe. Going basic black with the bikini and that body does not look 36."



McCarthy: "MUST I say it again? Nothin' but a number!"



O'Dell: "And, that's..."



McCarthy: "WORSE! This is an assault on my olfaction!"



Cassie: "No, but your COMMENTARY is an assault on MINE..."



O'Dell (sighing): "The song in question is 'Pleasant Nightmare' by Alih Jey, and that means that 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy, is coming to the ring."



Tess: "Levy's been moving steadily up the rankings since her Front Street debut on New Year's Eve, 2014. She's sitting second in the stable's pecking order, behind Kristen Stewart. But, Ariel Winter's moving up fast, and Levy needs to come up big here if she wants to continue her forward momentum."



O'Dell: "Levy into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that peach bikini we've come to know well. And, it's about time for some picks. Tess likes Jane. Mac?"



McCarthy: "Spearritt's not only won FCBA fights, she's won a lot of them in the BBU, too. Hannah!"



O'Dell: "Cassie?"



Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"



O'Dell: "Split panel. And, we're about to see who's right. Spearritt quickly setting up at range, wants to work the left hand. She's got some reach here and she's using it. Jane bobbing the head, looking for openings. Hannah bouncing forward for a quick flurry, forcing Levy to cover up."



McCarthy: "Landed a nice right hand in there."



O'Dell: "Jane keeping the gloves up, tucking the head, moving the feet. Hannah pouncing again, landing a good combination and again sending the redhead to the defensive. Spearritt circles. Resets. Levy patient, bobbing the head, moving the feet. Spearritt again bounces forward and LEVY DROPS HER!"



Tess: "WHAT A RIGHT HOOK!"



Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiiggghhhhhtttttts. The party's ooooovvverrrrrr...."



O'Dell: "Levy caught Hannah flush with that thing, and the Brit ragdolls to the canvas. Jane quickly turns and heads to a neutral corner, but I don't think there's any rush. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Hannah not moving at all. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! And it's OVER! That quickly it is OVER. And your winner by KO1 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"



AFTER:



O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"



Tess: "I have our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, do you have a hair appointment or something?"



Jane (smiling): "Oh, I don't have anywhere to be, Tess."



Tess: "Well, you didn't waste any time..."



Jane: "Look, she's nobody to mess with. She's won her share of fights both here and over in the UK. I saw an opening, and I took it. Simple as that."



Tess: "Well, 2017's just about in the books, and, while you DID lose your first fight this year, you've been pretty impressive otherwise..."



Jane: "Thanks, Tess. Yeah. It's been a good year. I think I've gotten better and I've beaten some good opponents. But, 2018 can be an even better year, a really BIG year. And, that's what I'll be concentrating on now."
