BEFORE:



"I can't WAIT for this one," says Moon with a smile and a nod. "This girl's made quite the rep, beating girls like Atwell, Cuoco, and Upton. She's not afraid to step up to the big girls...and I'm a big girl."



"Moon," says Charlotte with a shake of the head, "Is what some of the girls around here call 'an all-day sucker'. Get in the ring with her, and be ready to go as hard as you can and be as physical as you can for as LONG as you can, because, that's what SHE'S going to do."



ROUND ONE:



O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Fantaisie Impromptu' by Chopin, and, when you hear classical music around here, that can only mean that you're about ready to see a fighter from Philadelphia's OTHER home team, the Bazz Fight Club!"



Cassie: "Right you are, Jenny, and right now, you're going to be TREATED to an appearance by from a girl as big and physical as it gets, former Unified Welterweight Champion Moon Bloodgood!"



O'Dell: "Moon wasting no time getting down the aisle and into the ring. She's helped off with the robe by the Bazz corner crew, and she's looking plenty good and plenty powerful in that black bikini..."



Cassie: "You should SEE some of the training sessions Moon's involved in. She hits a heavy, it sounds like somebody's hitting it with a sledgehammer..."



All I want to eat is cherry licorice

I don't care if it sounds ridiculous

Even the birds and the bees

Eat how they damn well please



McCarthy: "Of all the STUPID songs we hear around here, that might be the STUPIDEST..."



O'Dell: "And that song is 'Cherry Licorice' by The Felice Brothers, and it happens to be the theme song of the lady bouncing to the ring right now, 'Agent 00DDD', Charlotte McKinney!"



McCarthy: "And, that nickname is even STUPIDER!"



Tess: "McKinney, of course, is one half of the Front Street welterweight division, and she's been impressive both before getting here and since."



O'Dell: "Charlotte into the ring and helped off with the robe. She's wearing that admiral blue number she's favored since coming to Front Street and, if the crowd's reaction is any indication, she's looking plenty fine in it. Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Charlotte. Mac?"



McCarthy: "As usual, I'm going with experience over youth. Bloodgood."



O'Dell: "Cassie?"



Cassie: "You know I'm picking Moon!"



O'Dell: "First round underway. Moon wants to set up at gunnery range and work from there. No surprise, as she's very long and has reach on McKinney. Charlotte usually likes to get inside and get physical, but, at the moment, Bloodgood keeping her at bay, using that long left jab."



Cassie: "And, what Charlotte had better watch out for is that straight right, because Moon can knock over a HORSE with that..."



O'Dell: "Bloodgood moving the feet, sticking that jab in McKinney's face and THERE'S THE RIGHT HAND! Oh, Moon buckled Charlotte's knees with that big right hand! Blonde covering up and the brunette battering away at her. McKinney backed to the ropes and Bloodgood letting the hands go!"



Tess: "We are ONE PUNCH from two KO1s on the same card!"



O'Dell: "No doubt about it. Moon has McKinney in real trouble. Charlotte hanging on on the ropes, keeping the hands up, jabbing back here and there, but mostly taking a serious licking. Twenty seconds to go in the round. Bloodgood another good right hand that wobbled Charlotte. Ref looking in, but there's the bell. BIG opener for Moon!"



ROUND TWO:



O'Dell: "Second underway and Moon coming forward behind that big left jab. She's backing Charlotte up, looking to consolidate after that big first round. McKinney taking heavy fire and WOBBLING MOON WITH A RIGHT HAND COUNTER! Bloodgood is hurt after a scintillating left hand from McKinney!"



Tess: "Not sure now she got the feet set and got that home, but she did it!"



O'Dell: "And, now it's the brunette in retreat as the blonde begins calling in the artillery strikes. Charlotte all OVER the older woman, banging away at both head and body. Moon keeping the hands up, giving ground grudgingly, but, eventually, she's pinned to the ropes, where Charlotte has at her..."



Cassie: "Moon playing this smart. She's got the gloves high, she's rolling with, running clock."



O'Dell: "Thirty seconds to go in the round. Bloodgood hanging on as McKinney pours fire at her. Brunette lands a good right hand counter and takes a solid combination from the blonde in response. Ten seconds to go. Sharp exchange that McKinney gets the better of, and there's the bell. Charlotte. Wide."



McCarthy: "And, we're even at 19."



ROUND THREE:



O'Dell: "Third begins as a complete 180 of the beginning of the second, as it's McKinney coming forward, backing up Moon, looking to consolidate after the big second round. Bloodgood willing to cede canvas, as the legs clearly aren't all the way back. Charlotte closing range, banging body...."



Cassie: "Watch Moon tying her up around the head. Veteran fighter slowing her rival down, playing for a little time."



O'Dell: "McKinney shoving free, banging more body, then working upstairs. Bloodgood on the defensive. GOOD right hand from McKinney and that shook Moon. Charlotte letting the hands go in the wake of that right hand and she's forced the brunette back to the ropes again."



McCarthy: "That was a nastier punch than in appeared. Moon did really well to take that and stay on her feet."



O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the round and they're going to be a LONG thirty seconds for Bloodgood. McKinney just hammering away at the older woman, looking for the 'off' switch., Referee looking in, but Moon hanging on in a high guard as the clock ticks down. Left hook from Charlotte that snaps back the brunette's head and there's the bell. Another big round for McKinney."



Tess: "But, Moon still on her feet, down just 29-28."



ROUND FOUR:



O'Dell: "More aggression from Charlotte to start the fourth. She's got Moon on her back foot and she aims to keep her there. Bloodgood jabbing, trying to move laterally, make it hard for the younger blonde to square her up, but McKinney moving well, getting to her spots, getting hard leather on..."



Cassie: "RIGHT HAND, MOON!"



O'Dell: "And McKinney stumbles backward! Charlotte on rubber legs as Bloodgood shifts from reverse to full forward and starts throwing bombs at the reeling blonde! McKinney suddenly in desperate trouble, backed into the ropes and POUNDED by Bloodgood's heavy guns..."



McCarthy: "Kid's taking too much leather. Better do something or the referee will."



O'Dell: "Charlotte being buffeted along the ropes, keeping the guard up, hanging on. She's throwing some counters here and there, but not landing much of anything. Clock the blonde's friend though. Just twenty-five seconds left. Moon going to throw everything she has at Charlotte's sturdy frame and see what happens. Ten seconds. Good right hand, Moon, but McKinney will survive. Bloodgood. Wide."



Tess: "And, we're even at 38.'



ROUND FIVE:



O'Dell: "Fifth underway, and we've not lacked for action so far, that's for sure. Moon on the advance, now. Working soundly behind that solid left hand, dropping in rights, backing up a still wobbly Charlotte. McKinney keeping the hands up, giving ground, firing back in spots, but coming off second-best to the brunette."



Cassie: "Moon is so physical that when she gets you going backward, it's hard to firm up and hold ground."



O'Dell: "As Charlotte is finding out. As sturdy as McKinney is, she can't hold canvas at the moment. Bloodgood a HARD right hand that forces the blonde to cover up. Moon goes body, then lands a nice left hook and GETS DROPPED! Moon dropped by a straight right hand counter from McKinney!"



Tess: "Never saw it, and I'm not sure I saw it!"



O'Dell: "Moon flat on her back as Charlotte heads to a neutral corner. Bloodgood caught absolutely flush with that thing! Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Moon up to her left hip and left hand, shaking the head. Six. Seven. Eight. Bloodgood trying to push to her feet but she can't get it done! Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO5 in one-punch fashion is 'Agent 00DDD', Charlotte McKinney!"



McCarthy: "Lucky punch..."



AFTER:



O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"



Tess: "I have our winner, Charlotte McKinney, and, Charlotte...wow. What a fight!"



Charlotte: "That girl hits as hard as anybody I've ever fought, and that includes Upton. That right hand of hers ought to be outlawed."



Tess: "But, you took it and you gave back as good as you got."



Charlotte: "Well, I'm pretty physical, too, as girls who try to get in there and bang with me keep finding out."



Tess: "It's been a wild year for you, with one of your stables shutting down and becoming another and then that stable shutting down, and, here you are in Philadelphia, but things seem to be going well at Front Street..."



Charlotte: "It's been a wild ride, and, as far as all the changes of address go, well, that's OVER. I'm here and here to stay. But, the rest of the ride? THAT is just beginning."
