1 December 2017 Post-Event Press Conference: Women of Sci-Fi at the Asylum

Page history last edited by caspian2 4 years, 1 month ago

The Man In The Hat sits, as usual, at the center of the dais. To his left are Anna Torv, Jane Levy, Katy Perry, Neve Campbell, Jewel, Pink, Grace Park, and Alison Brie. To his right sit Charlotte McKinney, Allison Mack, Hunter King, Britney Spears, Mariska Hargitay, Leelee Sobieski, and Kesha.

Man In The Hat: "OK. As usual, before we get to questions, there are some people I want to thank. We'll start with Ginny's Academy. We appreciate their willingness to send us two FCBA LEGENDS for this card. We loved having them here, and plan to do so again in the future. We also want to thank Bazz, our regular guests here at Asylum. Another great fight tonight, courtesy of that stable, and, that's what you always get when a Bazz girl comes to town. And, of course, I want to thank the indies who competed here tonight. As always, the indies are the backbone of Asylum and we always enjoy giving talented girls without management a chance to get into the spotlight. And, last but certainly not least, the FCBA Commission for sanctioning these fights and making Asylum possible. Now. Questions. Cable Boy. Go!"

HBO Reporter: "I want to talk about your bantams again. Chloe, obviously, is wearing the belts, at least for the moment, and Kat's coming off that big win, and tonight, Hunter came up big again and Allison beat a former champion..."

Man In The Hat (smiling): "Last month, I mentioned that Allison Mack has been a top bantam around this-here federation for a long time, and that hasn't changed. What you saw tonight was an example of that. That was a top-shelf fighter she beat this evening, and she can do that because she's a top shelf fighter herself. As for Hunter, we couldn't be happier about how she's developing. Girl's improving every time out and the sky is the limit for her. Cable Boy II. Let's hear it!"

Showtime Reporter: "I may have been most impressed tonight with Jane Levy. That was no tomato can she was fighting and she didn't waste any time..."

Man In The Hat: "Somebody on this roster is going to become Front Street's first flyweight champion. And, I DID say someone ON THIS ROSTER. Yes, we've had girls here before that we thought had the ability to do that, and they're no longer around, but, among the three girls currently in our flyweight division is that first champion. I don't think there's any reason that girl can't be Jane. And, tonight was an example of why I think so. Tess, dear. Go ahead..."

Tess: "Let's talk about Charlotte McKinney. Exciting fight tonight against Bloodgood, and she continues to do well here at Front Street..."

Man In The Hat: "Charlotte has everything you need to be a champion in the welterweight division. Everything. The girl's got all the physicals. She's skilled and becoming more so every day. She's gutty. She's tough. She's got a mean streak. It's all there. That's why SHE is HERE. Smackeroo! Dinner time. Take us there!"

Reporter: "Two wins by your lightweights tonight, and that division continues to be your strongest..."

Man In The Hat: "I'd say we have an embarrassment of riches there, yes. Three girls who've won titles and Anna Torv, who was as close as you can get to gold without wearin' it. Katy, obviously, has physical gifts anyone in the lightweight division would love to have. She's as good as anybody under 130 and I suspect she's going to wear gold again. And, Anna continues to be, probably, the best all-around fighter we have, and you saw why tonight. Now. Dinner time! Tess! Smackey! Limo!"
