Emily Osment vs Victoria Justice

BEFORE: This fight is an audition of sorts for two promising youngsters who seek their FCBA identity. Emily Osment has hooked up with Front Street Gym following the I.F.F.I. stable demise but she's there as a replacement for Emma Roberts who couldn't buy a fighting opportunity while acting in similar PR role. The window dressing part might be suitable for one's bank account but not for genuine respect around the league.

Meanwhile Victoria Justice is looking for a new landing spot in wake of Queen of the Mic's relegation to the inactive list. The Latin stunner can always go back to her BBU roots but she prefers to keep her career alive on this side of the Atlantic and is rumoured to be scouted by a couple of unnamed managers. One way or another, both these fighters need a victory here tonight and need it badly to avoid getting swamped by the unforgiving free agency moor.

Emily Osment wears a silver bikini set and red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Victoria Justice wears a violet bikini set and pink gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
We have Grace Park acting as coach in Emily's corner tonight as Front Street covers all it's option even though this result won't officially affect the Philly-based stable's impressive record. And whatever Emily was doing at the Asylum gym seems to be better than Victoria's apparent inactivity over the past several months. Even though the blonde gives away best part of three inches to her opponent, she dominates the close range tussle and picks Justice off to the point she reels her back to the ropes as the younger actress simply can't find her rhythm amid steady Osment rush. Several pundits expected Tori to channel her Puerto Rican wrath but she's too sluggish in her execution and extremely rusty given the early evidence. Emily keeps her under wraps for remainder of the round in a sneak preview of the typical Asylum dominance.

Round 2:
"You're doing just fine!", Grace Park allows herself a big smile following that promising opener but Justice finally sticks some leather into the blonde's flesh early in the second and stalks Osment to the body which sours her aggressive approach. While Victoria manages to dominate the opening exchange, Emily shows some nifty footwork and escapes more trouble but she struggles to regain her confidence in mid-range and she gets beaten to the punch by Tori's superior reach. She dances her way around the brunette's efforts but the defensive drill only widens the performance gap and when Justice injects more speed into her moves, she traps the blonde on the ropes and sinks her with a vicious left/right combo on the chin.

Round 3:
Emily might be a diamond in the rough according to some but coach Park smells trouble and orders a defensive stand here in the third which results in Victoria stalking the subdued blonde all the way through. That's a questionable decision from the Front Street trainer as Osment's counter-punching plan keeps falling short of the mark due to her inferior reach. She simply can't deliver any power from the back foot and gets outworked by the taller opponent repeatedly when she tries to engage in a more aggressive drill. However Justice lacks the outright strenght herself and allthough she gives Emily plenty of heat, she can't hurt her with a lone drive and looks visibly upset about it. Or is Osment just that milisecond quicker on her feet to avoid a potential haymaker?

Round 4:
Emily's back & forth dance stymies Tori's attacks early in the fourth but she eventually outsmarts herself and allows the brunette to club her with a right cross that is quickly followed by a blow to the navel that bends the Front Street associate forward. Justice has a clear path to punish the blonde now and she takes full advantage of it, blasting her foe to the body. Ugh! Osment begins to wince in pain and her defense leaves plenty of room for improvement as she gets hassled to the ropes where Justice lays into her with more Latin temper. She snaps the blonde's head repeatedly after her guard collapses and adds a couple of nasty bruises around the eyes as Emily is simply unable to escape the heat. Only the bell salavages her pride but Tori yells out in delight and Grace Park will be forced to use her bag of magic tricks next!

Round 5:
The defensive plan based on Justice wearing herself out could have worked at the Asylum but the Puerto Rican fighter just isn't one of these usual cougar suspects and Osment drops the cautious idea after a verbal spat with coach Park. She lashes out in classic flyweight bash to force a slugging stand-off and allthugh she gets tagged by a couple of vicious crosses on the temples, she whacks Victoria across the nose and delivers a left/right combo on the mouth to break her opponent's aggressive stride. Justice wobbles to her heels and before she can mount another offensive run, she gets drilled on the solar plexus and stumbles to the ropes visibly short of breath. Meanwhile Emily channels her up-tempo spirit and bangs several punches upstairs to keep the brunette caved in behind a high earmuff. The sheer intensity allows Osment to stay on top of her opponent for remainder of the round and she finds another drilling shot on the solar plexus to leave Victoria gasping for air at the bell.

Round 6:
Justice seeks revenge and jumps into a head-hunting pursuit however Osment weaves around the initial rush and when the brunette shits her balance too far forward, she pounces onto a counter-attack that allows her to BLAST a right cross on the jaw and dump the Latin babe into instant spasms. Ugh! Another wild shot crashes into Tori's right eye and sinks her on wobbly knees as a quick flurry of Osment punches reel her onto the ropes thereafter. Victoria begins to groan in pain but suddenly her face is full of the blonde's juice and the brutal drive wraps her into check out mode. Her gloves drop to the side and when Osment tears a gash over the right eye, the mindset goes away too leaving the brunette at her opponent's mercy... and Emily simply has none to offer; she connects with a couple of uppercuts before adding another strike on the ear THAT FOLDS JUSTICE INTO SEMI-CONSCIOUS DEPARTURE!!! She slides down on her backside with eyes closed and remains crippled during the count!!! KO6 Emily Osment!!!

AFTER: The audition is over and Emily Osment is your winner! Turns out hanging around the Front Street gym can produce the goods even when you're not facing an opponent old enough to be your mother! Emily's chances of securing a full-time contract with the Philadelphia-based stable remain bleak especialy in wake of Jennette McCurdy's arrival however some pundits believe she can develop into a poor man's version of Cassandra Lynn Scerbo ging forward. And that's always a compliment for any aspiring free agent!

Meanwhile future doesn't look so bright for Victoria "Don't call me Vicky" Justice who might as well push for the otherwise curious match-up against fellow "Too cute-looking to be taken seriously" Hispanic babe Ariana Grande next. The pinnacle of all 'Nickelodeon' fantasy boxing picks could be the difference between a genuine gatekeeping career and a lenghty spell among the journeywomen fighting under the Cannon Fodder banner.
