Courtney Tailor vs. Khloe Kardashian
(Words: Front Street / Results: Lookout!)

BEFORE:

Interesting matchup with blonde Courtney, a lightweight, stepping up to brunette Khloe, one of the FCBA's bigger and harder-hitting welters. Of course, Ms. Tailor isn't a stranger to fighting welters. She stepped in against Front Street's Antje Utgaard. Then again, that didn't go well. "No," says Courtney, "I didn't handle Antje back in August. But. I can deal with welter-sized girls. And, I'm going to prove it."

"Oh, I'm sure she can handle big girls," says Khloe. "She's built strongly enough. But. She can't handle THIS girl. As she's about to find out."

ROUND ONE:

Tailor moving early, not running, but showing excellent athleticism. She's not going to stand in front of the bigger Khloe. Instead, she's going to angle, use her feet, force the brunette to work hard to square her up. Khloe can't be surprised by these kind of tactics, and she doesn't look it. Instead, she works her own feet, using her left jab to locate, looking to create heavy exchanges. Not happening. Courtney's movement is effective. Very effective. She's showing lightweight quicks and that's causing the bigger girl some problems. Tailor isn't getting a ton of work done, but, she's getting leather home. And, that's more than Khloe's doing. Kardashian's landing a punch here and there, but, it's all single shot stuff. She can't get punches put together or get any power shots on. At the bell, it's Courtney who's grabbed the first points and leads 10-9.

ROUND TWO:

Same terms to start the second. Blonde playing hard to find and brunette working hard to find her. About 30 seconds in, she does. BOOM! A BIG right hand from Khloe and Courtney is HURT! Blonde does very, very well to stay on her feet after a shot that would have put plenty of welters on the canvas. But, staying upright has its price. ON COMES KHLOE! Kardashian all about the finish now, throwing heavy shell at the blonde, backing her into the ropes and letting her have it with everything in the arsenal. Tailor keeps the hands high, rolls with punches, jabs back in spots, doing just enough to keep the referee at bay. For her part, Kardashian doing everything she can to find the "off" switch, but, it's tougher to locate than the light switch in the bathroom at four AM after an all-night bender. Courtney hangs on and runs out the clock. But. It's Khloe wide in the second and we've even at 19.

ROUND THREE:

Kardashian absolutely abuses Tailor. Courtney's game, but, with wobbly legs, she's unable to stay off square and she takes a terrific beating as a result. The blonde, realizing she's not going to be able to avoid firefights, does her best to fire back, and she lands some solid shots. But, she's taking far more punishment than she's giving out, so much so that the referee appears ready to step in several times. But. He doesn't. Instead, he watches closely as Kardashian batters the beautiful blonde around the ring, finally trapping her on the ropes in the final minute and piling up the punishment. To her credit, Tailor takes it all and remains afloat. But, she's starting to bust up and is looking to be in very bad shape by the end of the round. When the bell, mercifully, rings, Khloe's won her second straight round wide to lead 29-28 and Tailor looks like she might not make it back to her corner.

ROUND FOUR:

Khloe looking to mop up what's left of Tailor's resistance. Blonde looking all but finished as Kardashian takes the fight to her once again, buffeting her with hard left hands and following on with booming rights. Courtney keeping the hands high, moving the feet as best she can, but she's clearly still feeling the effects of the last two rounds and Khloe knows it, slowly working her rival back toward the ropes to apply what she hopes will be the finishing touches. BOOM! A straight right hand counter from Tailor and Kardashian is HURT! All of a sudden, Khloe's steppin' in fence post holes! Courtney's just landed a Hail Mary of a punch and she's going all in trying to make it pay off. Blonde throwing everything she has at the reeling brunette and DOWN GOES KHLOE! A short right hook to the chin sends Kardashian crashing face-first to the canvas. Tailor to a neutral corner as quickly as those wobbly legs will take her there. Referee begins counting. Khloe rolls to her back, stares up at him, but can do no more. It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 in comeback fashion is Courtney Tailor!

AFTER

Tailor looking like anything but the winner, puffy and still woozy, but it was her hand raised in victory and she can manage to smile about that. "Yeah, it wasn't looking good," says the blonde beauty. "She caught me with some good shots. But, I hung in there and kept working hard. And, eventually, I got her. And, she's not the last girl I'm going to get. Count on that."
