BEFORE:

"It was only a matter of time before I got my shot in the FCBA," says Halston with a lovely smile. "And, I'm going to make the most of it!"

"Gotta give this girl credit for having confidence," says Allison with a smile of her own. "That can take you a long way in the FCBA. Not far enough, mind, but a long way."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Just Can't Get Enough' by Depeche Mode, one of the favorite songs of the young lady coming to the ring right now, the beautiful Halston Sage, star of FOX's 'The Orville'!"

McCarthy: "Um. The star of 'The Orville' is ADRIANNE PALICKI!"

O'Dell: "OK, ONE of the stars of FOX's 'The Orville'..."

McCarthy: "And THIS is an example of what I always say about Weirdo! We're doing a FOX card, and Palicki, the most talented woman on the network, is nowhere to be found. But, we've got THIS girl, handpicked to lose to that FRAUD.."

Tess: "HERE we go..."

McCarthy: "SHUT. UP. WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, and drink in Halston as she climbs inside and is helped off with the robe to reveal a lovely frilled tangerine bikini that has the crowd hot and bothered..."

McCarthy: "The crowd needs to enjoy this, because when Mack's nothing body gets down here..."

Oh the shark, babe

Has such teeth, dear

McCarthy: "UNbelievable!"

Cassie: "To quote my BFF, 'Here we go...'"

McCarthy: "SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell: "That's Bobby Darin's 'Mack The Knife' and since OUR Mac is retired, that can only mean that Allison 'Mack The Knife' Mack is coming to ringside..."

Cassie: "You ARE retired, aren't you, Mac, or are you starting an FCBA Seniors Tour?"

McCarthy: "SENIORS! You LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "A-HEM! Mack into the ring wearing that black robe with the gleaming silver knife on it, one drop of deep red blood dripping from the blade. Allison helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. Underneath she's wearing that blood red bikini we've all become familiar with..."

McCarthy: "And sporting that same 'couldn't get in "Playboy" if the editors were all blind' body we've all become familiar with..."

O'Dell: "And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Allison. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Even a girl with no FCBA wins can beat that FRAUD. Sage."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Split panel. Let's see who's right. Mack wasting no time getting aggressive with the younger blonde. Allison wants to close and bang here, but Sage isn't interested in that. She's using the left hand, moving the feet, working to create the distance she wants. Halston looking pretty poised in there at the moment, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Well, it's not like Mack The FRAUD is anybody to be afraid of, but, the kid doesn't seem to be awed by her first FCBA fight."

O'Dell: "She does not. Instead, Sage has a plan, and she's working it, and that plan is to box and move and not allow Mack to fight inside, which, of course, is what Allison likes to do. And, for the moment, Sage is getting that done. Allison working the feet, moving forward, looking to cut, but Sage mostly able to stay in open canvas at the moment."

Tess: "I like Halston's left jab. Sharp and accurate. And, she certainly uses it well for, again, a girl in her first FCBA fight."

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in the first, and we're seeing what we've seen the entire round, Sage moving, jabbing, keeping Mack mostly at bay. Allison continuing to patiently work forward, look to get inside where she likes to fight. Five seconds to go, and there's the bell. Halston in the first."

Cassie: "And, that first round is worth a lot more than a 10-9 lead to her."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins the way the first ended, with Sage on the move and Mack working forward. Halston getting that jab on and following with sharp right hands now. Younger blonde's confidence looking to be growing by the second at the moment, as she's getting into a rhythm now."

McCarthy: "This is the perfect strategy against Mack. It's the one I always used..."

Cassie: "Truck, maybe we can show some video of how WELL that worked for Mac between rounds..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE...don't you DARE, truck!"

O'Dell (sighing): "It's working for Sage, at least for the moment. She's getting the better of things in this stanza. Mack remaining patient, looking for opportunities to close, but she's just not finding them. Halston's got everything working very, very well at the moment, putting punches together, keeping Mack at bay."

Tess: "This is the kind of performance that gets a girl noticed. Remember what Mendes did here and how that turned out."

O'Dell: "Twenty seconds left in the second. Sage circling, jabbing. Mack bobbing and weaving as she works forward, but unable to get the ring cut, unable to get to short range. Instead, it's Halston who's getting what she wants and she's getting it right to the bell. Excellent round for Sage."

McCarthy: "And, the kid's up 20-18 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Sage has found something that works and she's sticking with it. Moving, circling, jabbing, playing matador to Mack's bull. Allison continuing to work forward, moving the feet, looking to cut. Manages to do that now and gets to work some body, but, Sage quickly out of Dodge..."

Cassie: "And that's key, what Halston just did. She's not going to be able to stay away from Mack all night. Allison's too good for that. But, when Mack gets in close, Sage needs to keep it short."

O'Dell: "Exactly. She does not want to be digging in the phone booth with Allison Mack. That doesn't usually end well for anybody. Half way through the second, and Mack closes and bangs again. Again, Sage ties, slips away, gets back to the war of movement. Mack resolute, right back after the younger fighter..."

McCarthy: "All this kid has to do is keep moving and she's going to win this fight!"

O'Dell: "Mack again closes, works some body, lands a good uppercut. Sage again slips away, dances, reverses motion, gets clean into the middle of the ring. Ten seconds to go. Sage legging. Mack not going to force the issue. She'll let the younger woman dance away the final seconds and there's the bell. Close. Mack now on the board."

Tess: "But, Sage still up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Mack again working forward as we start the fourth. Sage giving ground, circling, making Allison work to get to her spots. Mack, though, determined. She's going to cut the ring and bring Halston to battle. Working some body again now. Sage tying up, looking to slip away and ROCKED!"

Cassie: "Left hook! Caught her dipping her head!"

O'Dell: "And Halston stumbles back against the ropes looking glassy-eyed! Mack letting the hands go, hammering away. Sage covering up, in deep, deep trouble very, very quickly. Mack to the body, which is on sale. She's looking to bring that guard down, but the younger woman not having any..."

Tess: "This is good stuff from Halston. She's woozy, but she's not panicking..."

O'Dell: "Mack patient, pounds the midsection then goes back upstairs. Referee looking in, but Sage has shaken the worst of this. She's countering in spots, keeping the hands up, taking the licking, but continuing to tick. Ten seconds to go. Good right hand from Allison and there's the bell. Mack, wide."

McCarthy: "But, she missed a big chance there. It's 38-38 and Sage is still in it!"

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Allison looking to press the advantage as the fifth begins. Halston's still a little unsure of the legs, and that allows Allison to close quickly and get to work with the heavy leather. Sage tying up, hooking some body in there, looking to get a break and she does. Referee forces the fighters apart..."

McCarthy: "More good stuff from this kid. I'm liking her more and more..."

O'Dell: "Mack right back at Halston, again working body. Sage hooking around the head. Allison leverages with the shoulder, opens the younger blonde up, works some body. Halston again tying up and MACK DROPS HER! Sage collapsing forward past Mack's shoulder to crash to the canvas..."

Cassie: "Turn out the liiiiggghtttssss. The party's ohhhhhvvverrrrrrr..."

O'Dell: "A BRUTAL short right hook from Mack and Sage motionless on the canvas. Allison to a neutral corner. Count at two. Three. Four. Sage not moving at all. The rest of this is going to be academic. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO5 in lightning-strike fashion is Allison 'Mack The Knife' Mack!"

Tess: "Man, brutal was the word for that."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Allison Mack, and, Knife, where did that right hook come from?"

Allison (smiling): "That's the thing about in-fighting. You get a little window sometimes, and you have to be ready. Just saw a little opening there and I made no mistake with it."

Tess: "I've already said this once tonight, but Front Street has quite a bantamweight division these days..."

Allison (nodding): "That's the tradition here. It's always been a strength, and, maybe that wasn't the case for a minute, but, we're back."
