Kaya Scodelario versus Daisy Ridley

(Girls Friday vs Free Agent)

Intro:
Two young top British bantamweights do battle as Kaya Scodelario and
Daisy Ridley, with both looking for a title shot in their futures.
Kaya is 26 years old; stands 5'6 and holds a record of 20 wins, all by
knockout and 5 defeats.
Daisy is 25 years old; stands 5'7 and holds a record of 8 wins, 6 by
knockout and 2 defeats.
Both girls were asked for comments at their gyms, Kaya saying "I know
Daisy from back home and from the time I spent sparring with Sophia
Bush at their old stable ABC, she is a laugh and I can't pretend I
hate her"
She continues with an amused look "the thing is though is that while I
don't hate her, her and me will be competing for roles in top films
and chasing the titles around here, so we are going to be battling for
years to come and while we are in that ring, I aim to kick her arse
and show I am the better woman in all departments"
Daisy with similar sentiments, saying "Kaya can come across bytch to
girls I know in press conferences or after fights, but I loved the
times we've had drinking together and just chatting about life"
"The thing is as Kaya will tell you, we are rivals; she wants what I
have, I want things she does, so I have to beat her for them, I just
hope she doesn't hate me for it when we are done" she continues with
as she looks a little unsure.
Fight night; out comes Kaya with Taryn Terrell and Eva Carneiro, she
looks confident as she heads to the ring with her arms up in the air,
a wide grin on her face as she believes this will simply be another
notch on her win record.
Her attire tonight consists of a bra sports bra with red trim, black
trunks with red trim and a red waistband, black shoes and red gloves,
her hair is braided.
Stepping into the ring; she tells the fans "this is my ring; Daisy
ain't good enough to beat me in it" getting to her corner, she begins
limbering up to get ready for this test.
Now out comes Daisy with her coach; she is all smiles as she heads to
the ring, she nods to the fans as she goes, telling them thank you for
the loud cheer she is getting.
Her attire tonight is a white sports bra; white trunks with "Daisy" in
red letters on her waistband, white shoes and red gloves with white
thumbs, her hair is in a braided too.
She climbs into the ring and gives Kaya a quick wave, which makes Kaya
smile in reply, before Daisy mounts the bottom ropes in her corner and
flexes her arms to show the crowd the hard work of her training.
The fighters come to the ring centre and Daisy lightens the mood when
she says "I feel like I'm fighting Kylo Ren looking over your gear
babe" which makes Kaya chuckle and reply "are you ever serious" as
they both smile.
It's Taryn who reminds them of what they are doing "save the jokes for
later ladies, this is a fight after all" which makes both fighters nod
and get refocused as they stare each other down.
Suddenly it feels tense as it dawns on both fighters really how
important this fight is for them, the crowd is split over who to
support and as soon as they touch gloves, they know the next time they
feel their opponents gloves won't be so friendly.
Soon they are back in their corners ready to start 10 rounds of
bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters with both happy to test each other out with
stiff thrown jabs to the others face, most are parried as both have
good reflexes.
But Daisy is ring rusty; something Kaya shows as she throws a left
feint and the real straight punch lands to the cheek of Daisy, before
dipping under a left cross and bang away at the body of the Star Wars
star with two body shots.
Daisy a little slow to warm up it seems as Kaya lands the more cleaner
punches in their exchanges, keeping Ridley more on the backfoot then
she would like.
The more experienced Kaya slips under a straight and lands two short
sharp body shots, before getting out the way of a right hook from
Daisy.
Kaya starts to back up Daisy with several shots landing on her guard
to keep her pinned back, Daisy showing good footwork to get near the
ropes and escapes into space.
Daisy finally gets her rhythm going as Kaya gets a bit anxious it
seems to push the advantage she had, leading to her missing with a
left cross, instead it's Daisy who lands a double jab to knock her
head back.
Both fighters circle and trade single punches to measure the other up,
till Kaya slips under a straight and lands another hard right under
the ribs of Daisy to make her groan and step back.
The bell soon rings with Daisy nodding as she knows she has had a
rough start, while Kaya smiles as she sits on her stool and gets
washed down by her corner team.

Round 2:
Back out come the fighters; Daisy landing more cleanly as the girls
circle on their toes, coming in and out of each others range to strike
several punches to the others face.
The younger fighter lands a double jab to the nose of Kaya, who misses
with a right cross and takes a right to her ribs to force her to step
back.
It's Daisy now showing her skills off, boxing at range as she dances
on the outside, catching Kaya coming in with her punches finding a gap
either over or through the gloves of Scodelario.
But Kaya again ducks a right cross and steps inside to bang away with
Daisy, who at first tries to step to work; before realising she has to
go toe to toe with her rival for now.
The crowd roars the fighters on as they work on the inside, throwing
several punches at a time to the others body, while also testing their
chin with stiff shots.
Daisy showing a little sneaky side as she gives Kaya a little shove
with her left and snaps two uppercuts into her face to reel her back
towards the ropes.
Where Kaya has to cover up as Daisy rips into her body, enjoying
feeling the force of her punches causing Kaya to groan out.
As the 10 second warning seconds; Kaya though starts firing back,
leading to a heated brawling style finish between them till the bell
sounds to end the round.
Understandably Daisy looks more happier after that impressive round
from her, getting a nod from her coach; who quickly goes back to
drilling her on what she has to do from this point on.
Slightly more frustration in the Girls Friday corner; Taryn telling
Kaya to tighten her guard and be smarter with how she attacks, getting
a nod from the actress in reply.

Round 3:
Out come the fighters to the ring centre; again they start off trading
single punches as they circle on their toes and measure each other up.
Daisy looking the more comfortable early on as she lands the cleaner
shots to the head of her opponent, sticking to the outside to work.
But Kaya parries a straight and quickly steps to the inside with an
uppercut and a left cross that puts Daisy onto her heels.
Ridley being bullied back behind her guard as Scodelario hammers her
body to force her to retreat back and need to land two punches to the
face of her opponent to force her back.
Kaya keeps the pressure on which leads to the two fighters trading on
the inside, getting upset with each other as they nudge each other and
work the others bodies.
Till Kaya steps back and lands a quick fire three punch combo onto the
nose of Daisy to force her to step back, with the smaller fighter
driving forwards to bash Daisy back towards the ropes.
Again they start trading head shots; Kaya though has the better
position to load up and move her head out the way of punches from
Daisy.
Who gets caught with two punches across her cheeks that forces her to
cover up, Kaya using her jab to keep Daisy behind her guard and slams
her right into the ribs of her fellow Brit.
The bell soon rings to end the round; Kaya tapping Daisy cheeks with
her right, which leads to Daisy pushing her and saying "what the f***"
as she doesn't appreciate the gesture, Kaya just smirks as she heads
back to her corner.
Daisy's coach telling her to keep calm as he points out "she is just
playing games with you, you are a grown woman right! So don't let it
get to you!" With Daisy smiling and shoving off her stool ready to get
back at Kaya.

Round 4:
Back at it go the girls, heading straight for each other; with the
fighters planting their feet more to land more stiff punches through
the others gloves.
Kaya dips under a jab and digs two rights to the ribs of Daisy to make
her groan, she misses with an overhand left though as Daisy gets her
gloves up in time.
As Kaya tries to push forwards; Daisy shows she won't be pushed around
by using her left to shove her back and lands a right across the chin
of Kaya to knock her back.
Daisy drilling Kaya to her face with three clean punches to knock her
back towards the ropes, Kaya needing to step back and sidestep the
oncoming Daisy to get into space.
The two fighters trade stiff jabs as they circle, before Kaya tries to
step in and gets caught with a left cross and a straight knocks her
head back to force her back behind her gloves.
Daisy pushing her back with a flurry that smacks against the gloves
and forearms of Kaya, who tries to get into space but is herded
towards the ropes.
Kaya throws two hooks out her guard that miss; leaving her open to
another straight that digs into her lips and knocks her onto the
ropes.
The remaining seconds of the rounds sees Kaya being punished on the
ropes with body shots till the bell rings, Daisy now taps Kaya's cheek
in reply to her earlier attempt to get in her head, Kaya though just
smirks and winks at her, making Daisy not know whether to laugh or
complain why she isn't getting angry.
Instead they get to their corners and their cut teams work on the
fighters faces as they are marked up, they listen to their coaches as
both corners know they've both had successes, but need to step things
up if they are to win this fight.

Round 5:
Back out come the fighters with both looking to get on the front foot
early; leading to both moving to fight on the inside and force groans
from the others lips as they smack the body and land several punches
through gaps to the others cheeks.
Till Kaya starts digging away to the abs of Daisy and has her head
under the chin of Ridley to drive her back towards the ropes.
Daisy needing to shove Kaya back to create space; then as Kaya tries
to get back in tight, she catches her with a stiff jab and a right
cross that knocks Kaya back a step.
The girls keep landing through the others guard to drive their
opponent back, before they miss and find themselves being driven
backwards.
They nearly clash heads as they both step in with similar ideas
involving right hooks that most glance their opponent, leading to both
coming in tight to work away before shoving each other back.
Daisy catches Kaya with a right hook behind her ear to force her to
step back as her fans roar her to go on the attack, which she obliges
by landing a follow up two punch combo onto the face of her opponent
to knock sweat off her head.
But Kaya clinches up with her, the girls who'd normally be cool around
each other are snarling as they try to push other around, the referee
having a tricky time prying them apart.
Once apart; Kaya is the quickest to react with a straight punch that
opens up Daisy to two cross punches across her face, forcing Daisy
behind her guard as seconds tick away in the round.
The bell soon rings with the girls wiping sweat from their head,
cheeks noticeably starting to swell as their corner teams look to
patch them up, still it is very tight to call which doesn't help the
moods of the fighters as they prepare to resume.

Round 6:
Again they head straight for each other to lash away on the inside,
looking to bully each other towards a set of ropes or to a corner,
TILL DAISY STEPS BACK ENOUGH TO CREATE SPACE TO LAND AN UPPERCUT THAT
PUTS KAYA ON HER BACKSIDE!
Daisy jogs to a neutral corner as the crowd goes wild 1...2...3...4
Kaya is shaking her head to clear it 5...6.. Kaya begins to shove her
way up 7...8 beating the count and raising her gloves.
The referee let's it continue as Daisy comes on the attack; Kaya
moving around the outside of the ring as Daisy bangs away at her
guard, looking to end this.
But as she comes lunging in with a right hook; Kaya dips under a
clinches up with Daisy, who looks frustrated about the situation as
the referee steps in to separate them.
Daisy does manage to land several punches as she keeps stalking Kaya,
this is where the slight reach advantage seems to be paying off for
her as she keeps Kaya near the ropes.
As she tries to step in though with a left hook; Kaya ducks and throws
a hard body shot towards the liver area of Ridley, who groans out and
winces.
Daisy then is caught by a right hook, BEFORE A LEFT TO HER TEMPLE LATE
IN THE ROUND PUTS HER DOWN TO THE CANVAS!
The crowd can't believe this, 1...2...3 Daisy now has to pull herself
over to the ropes 4...5...6 dragging herself up the ropes as she
shakes her own head to clear it 7...8 finally she is up and waves Kaya
on.
The bell rings though before she can do anything, leading to the girls
looking at each other with an almost pleading look to give up, but
once they see that isn't on the table, they head back to their corners
slower then before as the physical contest is starting to effect them.
Yet both know they are still tied, making their eyes lock together as
their coaches patch them up and tell what to do to take this fight
into their hands.

Round 7:
The fighters trade at range as they circle, looking for an opening as
they know one mistake could cost them the fight, leading to a more
cautious start to the round.
Daisy is able to land a double jab but misses with a right hook as she
tries to follow in, Kaya just about getting her head out the way and
counters with a a straight to her opponents nose.
Again the Star Wars actress is the one who tries to push the tempo;
throwing a jab to measure up before throwing a right hook again that
Kaya deflects and steps inside with a piercing right onto the gut of
Daisy, causing her to gasp.
A follow up on the same spot seems to have taken the air from Daisy;
who steps back and Kaya's eyes light up as she smacks Daisy across her
face with a left cross and follows with a right that makes Daisy
stumble back.
Daisy covering up as Kaya forces her towards a corner; Ridley trying
to fight back but Kaya blocks her punches before digging her fists
into the body the younger girl, forcing her to grunt out her mouth.
Kaya stepping in close to rip in body shots that makes Daisy cry out
and cover up as the seconds tick away in the round.
The bell rings with Daisy holding her abs as she heads to her corner,
with Kaya finding a hole through the guard of Daisy, who slowly heads
to her corner to be worked on by her coach to try to get her ready for
the next round.
While Taryn tells Kaya "forget that you like her! Go out and end this"
with Kaya banging her gloves together as if to give her answer.

Round 8:
Daisy heads out but clearly is hurting as her gloves are lower and she
is now looking to catch Kaya coming with as the Pirates of the
Caribbean star stalks her.
A feint straight by Kaya opens up Daisy enough for her to step in with
the real left hook up top, DAISY IS KNOCKED ONTO THE ROPES, ALLOWING
HER TO STEP FORWARDS AND POUND AWAY TO THE BODY OF RIDLEY TILL SHE
FALLS TO HER KNEES!
The crowd roars as Kaya jogs to a neutral corner 1...2...3... Daisy
spitting out her gumshield as she goes to all fours 4...5.. She is
sucking in air 6...7...8 shoving herself back up to sit on her heels
with tears running down her face 9..10 Daisy is counted out!

Winner Kaya Scodelario KO Round 8

After:
Both women gave their all clearly as even the winner has to take a
moment to catch her breath, wiping sweat from her brow as she looks at
the ceiling as much relieved about winning as happy for the moment.
Kaya doesn't celebrate though; slipping her gloves off between her
legs, she jogs over to Daisy and helps her up.
The girls looks each other over as they see the damage they done,
cheeks swollen up and Daisy is still breathing hard as the ring rust
as much as the body shots have taken there toll on her.
Both chat about the fight as Kaya can be heard admitting "you are one
tough bytch babe, I thought you had me at a few points"
With Daisy through her hard breathing telling her "I thought so too"
winking at Kaya before she adds "you got me in the end though, thanks
for the workout" with the girls bumping fists in a sign of respect.
Daisy nods to her coach and they are about to leave the ring when Kaya
heads over and says "you know next time we fight, I won't be as nice"
with both nodding their understanding and smiling.
With Kaya heading to the ring centre to celebrate, as Daisy finally
gets to the back with her coach to get an ice bath to numb the pain
she is feeling.
Kaya shouting "I am the best around here!" As she points at the ring
and smiles as her fans chant her name, her detractors not looking
pleased in the crowd.
The victor not caring one bit as she heads out the ring, with Taryn
patting her back and Eva praising her for overcoming a hard test in
Daisy.
Who will herself surely be in the running for a title herself someday
with hard work in the ring, but for now it's Kaya heading upwards.
