BEFORE:

"My first time here," Constance says with a shake of the head. "I just didn't fight well, period. It had nothing to do with being my first FCBA fight or anything like that. I just didn't do what I can do. And, tonight is going to be different."

"I know she didn't exactly look great her first time out, but, most girls don't," says Jane with a nod. "But, she can fight. I can fight better, though, and that's what's going to matter tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Just A Girl' by No Doubt, and that can only mean the FCBA's biggest Gwen Stefani fan and the star of ABC's 'Fresh Off The Boat', the lovely Constance Wu, is coming to the ring..."

McCarthy: "And, you'll note how quickly and easily she's moving down the aisle. And, that's because she's unencumbered by FCBA WINS!"

Tess: "I'm going to have to give it up to Mac on that one, Cassandra Lynn..."

Cassie: "It's a shame she's used up one of her normal TWO good lines of the year this early..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell: "Wu into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal that white two piece we've seen before, and that's 'Pleasant Nightmare' by Alih Jey, and here comes 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

Cassie: "And, we've talked about this before. The competition is fiercer than it's ever been in the Front Street flyweight division now that Jennette McCurdy's in Philly, so the pressure is on Jane to take care of business tonight."

Tess: "And, it's not like she doesn't have a history of doing that. Levy's won seventeen of eighteen fights, with the lone loss being Mendes..."

O'Dell: "And, that one doesn't exactly look bad these days. Jane into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that peach number she prefers and the crowd appreciates. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess favors Jane. Mac?"

McCarthy: "NO FCBA wins. Levy."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "It's unanimous. Let's see if the ladies are right. Wu right to the jab early, like we saw against Graham. She's got some length for a flyweight, and she likes to set up at range and use that jab. Levy looking to close some, get to middle distances, but, right now, Constance calling the tune with that left hand..."

Tess: "This is a different version of what Wu did against Graham, who wanted to dance and circle."

O'Dell: "Is, indeed. Brunette is very sound with her technique. Very accurate with her punches, and she's giving Levy some trouble with that at the moment. Jane unable to work past the left hand. Instead, Wu holding her at bay with it and dropping in solid rights behind it, leaving Levy in neutral."

McCarthy: "This is either good stuff from Wu or BAD stuff from the Dancing Hooker. Guess which one I think it is?"

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the round and Constance really getting rolling. She's tossing Jane to the defensive, forcing her to cover up, throwing punches in bunches. Wu really in rhythm as we come into the final seconds. GOOD right hand from the brunette at the bell. Wu wide in the first."

Cassie: "And, she gets the 10-9 lead and probably a ton of confidence."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "It's not broken, and Constance isn't looking to fix it. Wu right back to that jab, setting up at range, working that left hand, forcing Levy to either box with or work past, and Jane doesn't want to do the former and isn't having any success with the latter. Levy trying to angle now, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Which is actually a smart move, meaning her CORNER certainly didn't tell her to do it."

O'Dell: "Jane using those angles to get to spots where she can get off. Constance countering by moving the feet, trying to get square, while the redhead wants to be off square, at least for the moment. Wu still getting the distance she wants, but Jane now able to get off and get her offense going."

Cassie: "Boxing with. Might not be exactly what Levy WANTS to do, but, it's working for her."

O'Dell: "To a point, it is. Jane getting back into it, at least, not all defensive now. Constance, meanwhile, continuing to score with both hands, though not as much as she did in the first. Ten seconds to go and there's the SHARPEST exchange of the fight! Both ladies landed some good shot and there's the bell. Closer this time, but still Wu."

Tess: "And, Constance now up 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins the way the second ended, same terms. Wu enforcing distance with the left hand, Levy angling to get to spots to punch, offsetting the reach advantage by doing so. Both ladies able to get their offense going this way, and what we're seeing is ranged boxing, which would seem to favor Constance."

Tess: "Definitely more of what Wu wants to do. Jane has shown she likes to work at middle and shorter ranges."

O'Dell: "Levy holding her own on these terms, though. Constance was definitely controlling the fight with the jab early, but, now, Jane able to box with to solid effect. It's two-way stuff for the second round in a row. Neither fighter hurt, but both landing good, clean shot, despite solid defensive work."

Cassie: "And, solid it is. Head, hands, feet moving, lots of punches being slipped and blocked."

O'Dell: "Down the stretch and a good combination by the brunette ANSWERED by some solid rejoinders from the redhead. Jane landed an excellent right hand in there, but Constance fires right back and ANOTHER flurry by Jane at the bell! Action-packed ending to a competitive round. Levy's on the board."

McCarthy: "But, Wu is still up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Constance giving a little ground now, circling back, creating distance with the feet, making the redhead's job harder as Jane looks to angle to spots where she can get her offense rolling. Levy stepping forward, but Wu getting the jab on, slowing her down, getting back to fighting lead to a point."

Tess: "Nice adjustment by Wu. She's billed as a very smart fighter, and we're seeing some of that tonight."

O'Dell: "Indeed, we are. Levy looking to slip that left again now. Wants to step to and cut the range. Constance continues the backward step and turn, getting that jab in the younger woman's face. Jane past it now and working some body on the inside. Brunette ties up. Levy punches free."

McCarthy: "Ref had better watch for low blows in there! Campbell fighters are NOTORIOUS for low blows..."

O'Dell: "Wu ties again and the referee breaks the pair apart. Constance circles backward. Jane again stepping to, takes a combination for her trouble, but gets back in the brunette's grill and works that body. Five seconds left. Wu ties up again, and there's the bell. Another close round, this one to Constance."

Cassie: "And Wu is back up two, 39-37."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Levy now working forward more aggressively, finding ways past the left jab. Wu giving ground to slow the offensive, but Jane now getting in and getting off, working body, going upstairs, banging and thumping in the phone booth, and this is NOT where Constance wants to be."

McCarthy: "Levy found a way to compete on Wu's terms, now Constance might have to do the same."

O'Dell: "Wu tying up. Levy shoving off, working more body, then back upstairs. Constance covering up, backed to the ropes now and taking some solid shot. She's trying to dig back, but she's been thrown to the defensive in a big way as Levy gets it firing on all cylinders for the first time tonight."

Cassie: "She's levering with the shoulder, opening Wu up."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds, and Levy's a buzz saw, thumping body, going upstairs, and then coming right back down. Wu tying up, trying to force a break, but Jane punches free, lands a SOLID right hand that sends sweat flying and there's the bell. Levy's round and plenty wide in the fifth."

Tess: "And, Wu's lead is one, 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "More aggression from Jane early. Levy getting the geometry down now, taking the fight to Wu. Constance tying up as Levy gets into the phone booth, but Jane levering, shoving off, banging body in there. Brunette firing back in kind, but this is definitely not the game she wants to be playing..."

Tess: "Boxer being forced to bang, Jenny. And, it's not going well."

O'Dell: "Levy backing the older woman up with hard, heavy shot. Wu a good right hand counter, but it doesn't slow the redhead, who just keeps thumping away to head and body. Wu again tying up and LEVY ROCKS HER WITH A RIGHT UPPERCUT! Constance wobbles and DOWN SHE GOES!"

Cassie: "That left hook was NASTY!"

O'Dell: "Landed right on the button and Constance down on her left side. Jane quickly to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Wu rolls to her belly. Pushes up to hands and knees at seven. Eight. Nine. TEN! Constance can't get off her knees and it's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

McCarthy: "YAWN! Another tomato can losing to one of Weirdo's overrated flys."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, rough start..."

Jane (nodding): "She's got things she does very, very well. She's hard to solve. And, unless you do, you've got a problem. But, I did."

Tess: "Once you got physical..."

Jane (nodding): "Exactly. Once I was able to get her squared, get inside and get to banging, it was just a matter of time."
