Emma Roberts vs Emilia Clarke (The Dollhouse vs Lookout! Atlantic Boxing) (4-5, 4 KO vs 6-6, 5 KO) Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago
BEFORE: One would have thought Emilia Clarke's high-profile 'Game Of Thrones' presence allows her to become the BBU crossover leader on the Lookout! Atlantic roster however Jenna Coleman has distanced herself from her British peers so far away that Emilia joins Gemma Merna in the sidekick role and doesn't actually display enough JMD value to hook up on random mini-cards either. On the other hand Emma Roberts has profited from the arrival of The Dollhouse stable last season and while Avril Lavigne keeps stealing the headlines, the bleached blonde also maintains "all eyez on me" profile that allows her to remain in the PPV spotlight in her own right:
"Well it's a new day guys...", she tells Erin Andrews before the fight, "...which means its time to wreck another dumb British sl*t. Why is she even a celebrity again? her show sucks. The books were SO much better. And reading them I don't recall anything about Daenerys Targaryen being FAT. What a HORRIBLE casting decision. She might be strong because of all that fat, but she wouldn't last too long in the ring with me. I plan to wear her down and take her out. You know what they say...the chubbier they are the harder they fall!"
Several things have been said about Emilia but she dislikes being called "fat" more than anything else when you consider her stable has been involved in many 'The Fittest' contests over the last few months. "I'm not FAT!!! And I punch HARD!!!", she tells Erin few minutes after hearing those negative comments from Roberts, "I'll punch her teeth out and that should shut her up! Who is she anyway? A glorified punchbag who couldn't even find a real job in FCBA until these dolls allegedly made the best decision eva!!! What nonsense! It's time to expose that cow once and for all! Guess the beating Emma Watson gave her last season wasn't enough! Grrr..."
Emma Roberts wears a pink crop top, white knee-high yoga shorts with the name 'Roberts' written on the side and pink & white gloves. Dyed icy blonde hair in a texture bob hairstyle. Emilia Clarke wears a red sports bra, matching red hotpants with black trim and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1: Emma's aggressive attitude allows her to run the action from the front in the early stages as if Emilia wanted to find out whether the tape actually bares any meaning. And it surely does with several clean punches landing against the Brit's face which only fuels the blonde's work rate. She shuts Clarke down but fails to pound her onto the ropes and becomes visibly annoyed by this fact; she slips through to land extra juice on the tummy but Emilia escapes the heat when she delivers a promising left/right combo on the lips and spends the latter stages of the round dancing away on her toes. Emma doesn't have the speed to catch her rival anymore and tells coach Loken "fat bytch can't dance" during the break.
Round 2: Roberts truly believes she's the superior woman in the ring but gets careless early in the second as she expects nothing from the brunette and doesn't follow through on the initial jabbing tangle, seemingly waiting for Clarke to escape to mid-distance again. That proves to be a wrong assumption as the Brit launches a sudden flurry of punches that catch Emma on the chin and sink her into loud spasms while Clarke scythes her across the liver area. Emma wobbles forward but fails to clinch her enemy and eats a vicious double uppercut combo on the jaw THAT SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON THE BOARDS!!! Ugh! Coach Loken almost faceplants over the ropes as Emilia silences The Dollhouse corner with one mighty drive but Erin Andrews thinks the cocky attitude simply backfired straight into the blonde's face. "That ought to learn her some manners now!". Emma takes her time before getting up but she's back on her feet at seven spitting venom all over the place yet Emilia blows her a kiss and vows to wrap her up in more misery. A feisty flyweight tangle ensues in the final minute with Clarke head-hunting the allegedly wounded prey and Roberts can only fend off the British heat with all her arrogance wiped clean off following that knockdown. She survives the late push but gives Kristanna Loken one nasty death stare once she returns to her corner: "Don't even say it! Just DON'T!!!"
Round 3: We're back into a classic flyweight slugfest with Emilia landing single shots over the top; she hopes to break the bleached blonde's resilience through superior work rate alone but Emma accepts the slugging script and hauls in some promising blows to the brunette's body to keep herself afloat of the action. But for the knockdown this fight would be too close to call right now however the improved guard enables Roberts to stay in the drill and Emilia loses her accuracy wholesale when she fails to adjust to the body assault. She steps back into mid-range but keeps misfiring over the top and Roberts bullies her around the ring before a late clinch finally stalls the action. Erin Andrews reckons Clarke is better suited to a classic counter-punching drill but she should have done more to dent The Dollhouse hopes for a swift recovery.
Round 4: Roberts lands the opening punch straight up the middle and leaves Emilia's guard leaking more close range beef during the opening minute. There's a reason why Clarke hasn't upstaged Jenna Coleman on her crossover run and the way Emma knocks her head back & forth here serves as cruel evidence. Suddenly the HBO's Mother of the Dragons remains glued on her heels and shows nothing from that alleged mobility which only allows Emma to cash in with more head-hunting success. Ugh! Emilia begins to groan in pain but she simply cannot outwork the younger actress and then loses her plot when the blonde BELTS her with a nasty punch straight onto the solar plexus. CLARKE GOES DOWN ON HER KNEES and that was a true oxygen-removing hit from the New York native. "Horrible, just horrible!", Erin Andrews grades the Brit's punching resistance in a rather ominious fashion and there's more trouble ahead for the aching brunette. She beats the count at seven but Emma's all over the midsection thereafter and pummels her back into the ropes where she drills her hammer & tongs looking to finish the fight right here! She bounces off the forearms too often to make her rally count though and earns an earful from coach Loken during the break: "You f##king had her! What are you doing?"
Round 5: Emilia survives the body assault to keep the charging blonde at bay through methodical counter-punching slaps and suddenly the superior footwork returns to the fore which allows the Brit to fend off a furious attack from the younger actress. Emma's red mist mode brings her little success and Erin Andrews reckons that's why the bleached blonde isn't up to stablemate Avril Lavigne's standards just yet. She bullies the brunette around the ring but only connects with the single punches to keep the Lookout! recovery plan alive. There's more trouble in The Dollhouse corner during the break as Emma disagrees with Kristanna's ideas of taking it easy and simply blowing Clarke away with a single rally when possible.
Round 6: More of the same in the sixth, Emma chases the retreating Brit around but fails to match her mobility and only skims off the flesh to fall into a proper counter-punching drill that becomes too big of a problem when Roberts suffers from a small cut above her left eye in the second minute. Clarke gets more aggressive when she notices the wound and bangs it straight up the middle with Emma suddenly looking for some oxygen boost and rolling onto her heels when the older girl WHACKS her on the lips for a good measure. Emilia steps it up in the closing minute and traps the worn out foe on the ropes; Emma disappears behind a tight earmuff but Clarke still cleans out her breadbasket to move ahead on the Erin Andrews' scorecards.
Round 7: Emilia thinks she has Emma running on fumes already and steps up to resume the close range assault but gets blocked off and eats a left hook on the nose before both girls lean onto each other and seek a piledriver breakthrough. Emilia skims off the top of the blonde's shoulder but Roberts strikes a home run and NAILS the brunette on the nose which wobbles Clarke into a quick uppercut follow up. The blonde literally lifted her left foot when she delivered the strike and actually LIFTS the brunette who got caught on the chin in haymaker fashion!!! AND DOWN SHE GOES!!! Ugh! What a turnaround here for the Dolls as Emma sends HBO's finest deadmeat on the canvas. Clarke mumbles her pain out but is determined to beat the count. She sits down on her heels at six yet wobbles to her side when she tries to get up and the merciless count passes her by when she still tries to push herself off the canvas! KO7 Emma Roberts!!!
AFTER: Erin Andrews thinks the Dollhouse babe got a *little* lucky here as Emilia had her on the verge of physical collapse and quite frankly Emma needs to work on her fitness as the bullying attitude can only win her as many fights. She wasted a ton of energy in a fruitless pursuit at one stage of the fight which was completely unneccessary and left her exposed to Clarke's counter-punching assault that almost spoiled The Dollhouse party.
However the bleached blonde simply doesn't care about those negative comments from the booth as she drags the aching brunette off the canvas by the hair and slaps Emilia's face a couple of times to make sure she's conscious enough to endure the subsequent Walk of Shame in full flight. "That's right, you dumb British slag! Don't mess with the superior woman! Go and tell Collins and that Twatson pig I'm not done raining on the Union Jack!!! Oh, and lose some weight next time you want a shot at me! Understand?"
Emilia understands those dubious orders and nods back in approval which prompts Emma to shove her face-first into the ropes and finally head back to coach Loken. However Clarke remains concerned she might have suffered a structural damage to her nose and quickly leaves the ring trying oh-so hard not to lose her dignity. She holds back the tears and Erin Andrews reports few hours later that the X-scans came back negative to the Londoner's huge relief. Nonetherless any plans of Emilia Clarke mounting a proper run at the flyweight contendership must be indefinitely postponed in wake of tonight's outcome.
Final result: Emma Roberts def. Emilia Clarke KO7. |
