BEFORE:

"We've been on a little losing streak at Bazz," says Moon with a nod. "And, I've been on one myself. Both of those end right now."

"Look, she's a champion," says Antje. "And, she hits as hard as just about anyone in the FCBA. Except me. So, we'll get in there and do some hitting and see what happens."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Fantasie Impromptu' by Chopin and that can only mean that the statuesque former Unified Welterweight Champion Moon Bloodgood is on her way to the ring."

Cassie: "And, she's coming down here with a purpose as you can see. And, that purpose is to get the job done and get Bazz back into the win column at the Asylum."

McCarthy: "Maybe that big Scottish goof will have to send YOU in there to break this streak, Scabbo. Even YOU could beat one of Weirdo's Dancing Hookers. And we'd have the added benefit of you not being here stinking up the broadcast."

Cassie: "Speaking of Bazz flyweights, Tess, have you seen BRENDA tonight?"

Tess: "As a matter of fact, I haven't..."

Cassie: "Which means, Mac, that she could be ANYWHERE doing ANYTHING right now, especially since I have access to this arena 24/7/365."

McCarthy: "Are you THREATENING me?"

Cassie: "I'm suggesting you choose your next words carefully."

O'Dell (sighing): "IF we could concentrate on the ring, where Moon is being helped off with the robe to reveal a black two piece and a body that looks closer to 22 than 42."

Cassie: "Nobody in the FCBA is in better shape than Bazz fighters. Run that hill a few times and you'll see why..."

Tess: "No, thanks. Once was enough."

O'Dell: "And, that's 'Heads Will Roll' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and here comes 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard!"

McCarthy: "And, this girl SOMEHOW thinks she's the hardest hitter in the FCBA. And Palicki can hit TWICE as hard as SHE can!"

O'Dell: "Antje wasting no time getting down the aisle. She's into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that stars and stripes bikini she prefers and the crowd likes it JUST fine..."

McCarthy: "Low standards..."

O'Dell: "And, the ladies are ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Antje. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Bloodgood's an actual FCBA fighter, not a Dancing Hooker. Moon."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "Moon's going to get the job done!"

O'Dell: "And, there's the bell. Ladies setting up at range and getting their box on, and that's not a surprise, as both of these fighters are rangy and like to extend on their punches. Moon working that long left jab, getting right hands in behind them, backing up Antje here early, Cassie..."

Cassie: "Utgaard's one of the hardest hitters in the FCBA, but, no welter in the world hits harder than Moon."

O'Dell: "Bloodgood backs Antje up a step with a hard combination, steps forward, lets the hands go and backs Utgaard up again. This is good stuff from Moon, who's getting into rhythm early, getting off first, throwing the younger fighter onto the defensive here in the first round..."

McCarthy: "And, this is a good way to deal with a power puncher. Keep her on her back foot."

O'Dell: "And, that's exactly what Bloodgood's doing right now. She's preempting Utgaard over and over again. Antje not able to get off, being reduced to countering here and there as Moon controls this round with that accurate left jab. Ten seconds to go. Another flurry from Moon and there's the bell. Bloodgood. Wide."

Tess: "Good start for the veteran, who's up 10-9 after one."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with more from Moon. Bloodgood's got it rolling right now, and Antje doesn't have an answer for it. Utgaard getting backed up with solid combinations. Moon's really dialed in right now, Cassie, and the younger woman needs to make some adjustments here..."

Cassie: "Again, you aren't going to continue taking these kinds of shots from a hitter like Moon."

O'Dell: "Utgaard giving ground, taking leather. Moon just LOADING UP right now, and she's got Antje BUZZED after that combination! That right hand at the end got the Front Streeter's attention. Bloodgood letting the hands go now, forcing Utgaard into the ropes, letting her have it."

Tess: "And Utgaard firing back now!"

O'Dell: "She is, indeed and we've got a FIREFIGHT happening. They are trading absolute BOMBS right now, and Antje's stepping forward off the ropes, backing up Moon in the late going. Bloodgood now firming up and firing back. Ten seconds to go and there's the bell. Wow! What a final minute. Bloodgood. Closer, this time."

McCarthy: "And, Moon's up 20-18."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins the way the second ended. Ladies setting up at range and throwing absolute BOMBS. And UTGAARD ROCKS BLOODGOOD! Just a few seconds in, Antje wobbles Moon's knees and the Front Streeter now going all in to finish this thing. Older fighter in DEEP trouble..."

Cassie: "She's going to be fine. She'll ride this out."

O'Dell: "Utgaard throwing punches in bunches, looking for the one that will finish this thing. Moon in the high guard, backed to the ropes, rolling with, jabbing back here and there, trying to do exactly what Cassie said and ride this thing out. GOOD right hand, by Moon in counter!"

Tess: "I'm not sure when the last time was I saw this many big punches land in three rounds..."

O'Dell: "And there's ANOTHER one! A straight right from Utgaard that snapped Moon's head back. We're down under 30 seconds in this one and Bloodgood seems to have shaken off the worst of the damage. She's trading bombs with Antje as we head to the bell. There it is. Another action-packed round. Antje. Wide."

McCarthy: "But, Moon still up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Ladies appear to be looking to slow things down as we start the fourth. They're setting up at range, working the feet and the left hands, doing a little boxing now. Moon's legs appear to be all the way back. She's moving well, setting up follow on rights with those long left hands..."

McCarthy: "Smart stuff from Bloodgood. She can outbox this Dancing Hooker."

O'Dell: "At the moment, it's pretty even, though. Good, two-way stuff with Antje getting her own offense going on these terms for the first time. Moon a SOLID combination and Antje fires right back with one of her own and HERE WE GO AGAIN! Hammer and tongs as both power punchers begin calling in the heavy artillery!"

Tess: "I'm surprised we're still sitting here, because punches are landing here that would have stopped almost everyone in the FCBA..."

O'Dell: "But, not these two. They are shipping these shots and continuing to fire back. Again, as we go down the stretch, the pace picks up even more. BOOMING right from Moon and Antje responds back, sending sweat flying from Bloodgood's head at the bell. And, Moon's claimed her third round."

Cassie: "And, she's ahead 39-37 after four."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Fifth begins with more ranged warfare. Ladies again making with the gun platform stuff, working their lefts to set up hard right hands. BOOMING right hand from Moon! And Antje countered with a big right of her own and we're right back at it! These two power hitters determined to go long ball, Mac!"

McCarthy: "And, something's got to give at some point, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "And, like Tess said last round, I'm surprised it hasn't given already! Fans on their feet after that exchange, as BOTH fighters got their heads snapped back, and it doesn't slow either down! Nobody clinching or trying to manage pace. They're just going right after one another like they've been doing since the second round!"

Cassie: "I'm not sure anybody's taken this many power shots from Moon and stayed on her feet."

O'Dell: "And, I'm pretty sure the same is true of Antje. No idea what it's going to take to put either of these ladies on the canvas, but whatever it is, we haven't seen it. Ten seconds to go in the fifth round. ANOTHER big exchange sends sweat flying and there's the bell. Utgaard's round, but, if this continues, feel free to shred those cards..."

Tess: "But, just in case we get there, Moon's lead is now 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Second half of the fight begins the way the first half ended, with heavy artillery being exchanged mid-ring. GOOD combination by Moon that backed Antje up a step, but Utgaard steps right back in with a flurry of her own. Crowd is burning hot as we see yet ANOTHER big exchange!"

Cassie: "Don't know when the last time was we saw a fight like this..."

O'Dell: "It's been awhile since ANYONE'S seen a fight like this. Bloodgood backs up Utgaard AGAIN with a combination. Antje again steps back to, lands a hard right. Good right hand counter by Moon and UTGAARD DROPS HER! Something finally gives as Utgaard sends Bloodgood to her back!"

Tess: "That was set up by the left hand, snapped back Moon's head and uncovered it for the right-hand follow!"

O'Dell: "Antje wasting no time getting to a neutral corner. She's taking no chances. Count at three. Four. Five. Bloodgood shaking her head, trying to clear the cobwebs and I can't believe she's not OUT after that shot. Six. Seven. She's not going to make it. Moon still on her back at nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO6 is 'The Scandinavian Stunner', Antje Utgaard!"

McCarthy: "Lucky punch."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Antje Utgaard, and, Antje, that was a war in there!"

Antje: "She can HIT, Tess. Never faced a harder hitter. But, I can hit, too, and it was going to come down to who could hit harder."

Tess: "It looked like you were trying to prove exactly that..."

Antje: "I was. I want everybody in the FCBA to know what I bring to the table. Just in case."
