Before: “I am glad to be getting back in full-time action,” says Jessica Biel in the pre-fight. “I admit to being a little rusty, but the best way to deal with that is to get back in the ring and fight. Gigi is definitely a rising star on the lightweight scene and taking her on wll help to re-establish my credit as a fighter. Our manager, Charisma Carpenter and I, have big plans for me in 2018, This is one step in this plan.”

Says Gigi Hadid: “Anyone who knows anything about the FCBA Lightweight division knows Jessica’s history of success, but she’s part of the older generation. Their best years are behind them. Oh, sure, they can still fight, but I am part of the Future of the Lightweight Division. I am out to prove I can be a champion and beating Jessica Biel is a great opportunity for me. I am very eager to be in the ring against her.”

Fight night finds Jessica in a white halter-top bikini with dark gray gloves and boots (white laces), her hair pulled back in a battle braid. Gigi in orange bikini with black gloves and boots (orange laces). Gigi has also opted for a battle braid. Brisk ring instructions as both fighters seem to want to get this show on the road. Tap of the gloves and the departure to their corners ends the formalities. There is a tense pause and then the bell rings.

R1: Jessica moving out firmly and pumping quick shots into Gigi’s face. Gigi trying to circle around as she moves her guard up to protect her face. Jessica now moving in to bring crunching hooks into Gigi’s stomach and ribcage. Gigi trying to jab Jessica back, but Jessica getting hooks in underneath Gigi’s gloves to strike her chin. Gigi dropping back, still jabbing, but Jessica evading these to keep up the pressure. Late flurry of punches to the juggs add to Gigi’s unhappy round. Bell rings. Jessica turns away and strides back to her corner without a backward glance. Gigi has to steady herself before returning to her corner.

R2: Jessica again out with confidence, but Gigi is showing more mobility this time and some nice moves that draw Jessica off balance. Gigi then able to heave overhand shots into Jessica’s face and off the sides of her head. Jessica now has to fall back to regroup, but Gigi right with her. Taking advantage of her longer reach to strike at Jess’ head and keep her ducking. Jessica’s guard is up high and now Gigi can do some vengeful mugging of the Biel breast line. (Some quick hooks to the belly draw some encouraging gurgles from Jessica and Gigi works the belly some more.) Jessica still backing up, but her jab is keeping Gigi at mid-distance, though the younger fighter is working Jess’ body hard. Bell rings and Gigi looks pleased as now Jessica is the one breathing hard and having to steady herself before returning to her corner. Gigi Hadid wins the round wide.

R3: Both fighters are out of their corners with speed, but Jessica wins the race by landing first with a right cross to the jaw. Gigi stumbling back, but catches Jessivca coming in with a driving straight right to the forehead that rocks the veteran. Gigi has to pause a second to gather her wits and then plunge in against a recovering Jessica. Fight now is very close as Gigi tries to press in against Jessica, but Jess countering hard to the body. Intense action as belly, breasts and ribcages are under heavy bombardment from both fighters. Then Jessica gets to Gigi’s chin with uppercut, snapping her head back and sending an shivering impact down those long model legs. Gigi retreating, but she’s still got her jab and she’s pepper Jess with counters. Jess slowed down and made wary. Gigi could be ready to counterattack, but time runs out on her and she looks quite disappointed. Jessica awarded the ring, but it was close.

R4: Gigi finally gets to launch that counterattack as the new round begins and she starts with some long range shots off the head to rattle Jessica’s brain. Then she pumps leather to the face as Jessica falls back. Gigi then going for the body. She’s working over those Biel boobies again, but roasting Jess’ ribcage as well. Jessica is slow to get her jab going, apparently dazed by the ferocity of Gigi’s initial attack, but once she’s got it going, Gigi has to work at getting passed it. Jessica settling down at the bell, but it’s not enough to keep Gigi Hadid from winning the round wide.

R5: Jessica seems to shake off the previous round and comes out fighting, but Gigi seems fired up by her success. Gigi on the attack, trying to nail Jessica to the head, but meeting sharp counters to her own head and face from Jess. Gigi seems determined to show she can beat Jessica down and keeps pressing the attack. Action now shifting to up close and personal body banging. Gigi’s attack meeting firm resistance that makes her pay for every punch she lands. Then Jessica moves to the attack and she is really working Gigi’s chest making the model cringe as her boobies are crushed in their bra cups. Jessica adds some nasty belly shots that make Gigi’s legs shake, though she only drops back a step or two before using her own body work to keep the counter pressure on. They battle right down to the bell. Both are dripping with sweat and breathing hard. They look each other over silently then turn away. Judges busy with their totals and the round goes to Jessica by a narrow margin.

R6: Jessica moving out with authority this round as Gigi looks woozy off her stool. Jessica quickly firing out shots to head and body to test Gigi’s reactions. Gigi’s reactions looking a just a little slow and it’s allowing Jessica to strike hard then escape the counter. Jessica also moving around a lot and again Gigi is a little sluggish in keep up. Jessica still testing the waters with her punches as they range from head to body and back again. Gigi looking confused and struggling. Jessica then closes in for the kill with a rapid-fire series of strikes to the jaw and chin. Gigi stumbling back with shellshocked look in her eyes. Jessica now using lightning uppercuts to the chin to make Gigi’s head bob up and down as her knees give way. Jessica lobs in an overhand right that cracks Gigi between the eyes. DOWN GOES GIGI! Gigi Hadid crashes onto her back, arms outflung and eyes tightly closes. Jessica gives a nod of satisfaction and marches to the neutral corner. Referee moves in as Gigi’s eyes flutter open and she tries to push herself up on one arm, but she falls back and lays there as the count goes on:”

“EIGHT! NINE! TEN! YER OUT!”

THE WINNER JESSICA BIEL DEFEATS GIGI HADID KO6!

After: “The kid is good,” Jessica Biel tells press as she watches a dejected Gigi Hadid being helped to her feet by the Fighting Academy corner crew. “But she just couldn’t stand up to my punching. I admit it has taken me a while to get that power back, but, as you can see, I have made progress. I am really looking forward to my next fight. 2018 is going to be a real comeback year for me!”

An understandably glum Gigi Hadid reports: “I thought I was going to good job keeping up with Biel, but once she started knocking my head around. I am still seeing stars from that. Once she had me fighting in a haze, it was down hill all the way and I just couldn’t get up after she floored me. I can see I have more work to do, but I am only disappointed. Not really discouraged by this fight. I will be back to winning in no time. Just you watch and see!”

Spirited contest as Jessica Biel has finally started showing what made her a much-feared opponent. Gigi Hadid did, indeed, keep up with the veteran, but not for long enough. Both fighters look ready to move on. Jessica likely needs to confirm her comeback with more wins and Gigi needs a win to erase the sting of this setback. Fans of both are hopefully both these ladies will soon be on the winning side of the ledger.
