Ariel Winter vs Jessica Lowndes
(Front Street Gym vs Lioness Club of America)
(9-4, 9 KO vs 28-17-1, 27 KO)
Results: Lookout!; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: "Oh boy, this will be EPIC!!!", Jessica Lowndes' sparring partner Shenae Grimes tells Erin Andrews while acting as the press secretary for the LCA stablemate tonight, "Jessica's soooo upset she wasn't invited for any of these Canadian/CW themed Asylum cards she literally trashed the gym the other month... Ooops... I wasn't supposed to tell you that!"

Switch back to Ariel Winter's camp and Grace Park steps forward to dismiss the idea that the kid is like a "fish out of the water" outside of the Asylum cuddle. "I know it's football off-season, Erin but would you please stop acting like we can't win outside of the state of Pennsylvania? That's bull... I mean, Ariel is a future champ! Kristen Stewart is the reliable one but... wait, what was the question again?"

Both girls have stayed clear of each other even during the weigh-ins as FCBA security team was informed of potential hazard when letting Lowndes anywhere near the Front Street members. The Philly squad remains calm during a rare front page showdown outside of their backyard alas Grace Park clashes with Eva Mendes over the May 2012 bout that saw Park win nine out of ten rounds. Huh! Nobody made Mendes look so out of her league back then! Let's see if coach Mendes can avenge the boxer Mendes defeat here tonight!

Ariel Winter wears a red bandeau bikini, white hotpants and yellow gloves. Long black hair tied in a curled ponytail. Jessica Lowndes wears a turquoise bikini set and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Ariel's on a solid hot streak but nobody has put her under so intense pressure lately than Lowndes here in the opening round. You just don't see such brave girls back at the Asylum and the former champion cashes in with the early aerial swings to connect with the temples and force the youngster back. Ariel tries to brawl herself out of trouble and steps up to channel her slugging idea however she fails to work around the Canadian's superior reach and eats more punches straight up the middle as Lowndes gears up for another "all-in" drive early in the going. "It usually works well for the kid!", says Erin Andrews and it truly works well as Winter gets pounded back to the ropes where she's simply unable to tame the Canadian overdrive. "You want the straps? Well, eat THIS!", Jessica cracks a left hook on the nose right at the bell and Grace Park calls for the cutmen to deal with the troubled area already!

Round 2:
Bad tempers flare in the second as Ariel channels the unorthodox route and slips by to tackle Lowndes' rack and that's a new one in Grace Park's copybook. However Ariel has seen jug muggin' action before and just because we're not under those rules, what prevents Ariel from rocking Lowndes right where it (almost) hurts the most? Maybe the poor opener ignited a quick change of plans from Park but Ariel rolls back some months and hammers in the juice to drop Lowndes on her heels as the Canadian struggles to stretch her elbows despite extended career in the genre. Can't deny the surprise factor here though and Winter finds all the groove while piercing the solar plexus on top of rocking the Canadian rack which allows her to thump her rival back to the ropes where the action finally stalls courtesy of Jessica's desperate clinching. She gives the L.A. kid a really nasty stare at the bell and guess the game is really on now!

Round 3:
Yup, Jessica accepts the jug muggin' gauntlet and that spells brief trouble for the Front Street kid. There's just no working around that reach advantage and as brave as Winter is here, Lowndes has soaked up punishment from current and future Hall of Famers before so she's not gonna lay down here, does she? Ariel learns about it the hard way when she runs out of steam following a full one-minute exchange and drops to her heels when Jessica just piles on with more JMD pressure. Ugh! "Wanna elite, cow?", Lowndes notices that Winter begins to feel the heat and wobbles back; she fires a left hook upstairs and finds the fellow brunette's ear before thumping a right upercut on the chin. Ariel simply wasn't ready for the quick change-up and sinks with a loud whimper but Jessica pounces on her right away and cracks a right hook across the nose again TO SEND THE FRONT STREET KID DOWN on her backside!!! Ugh! "Kim Kardashian, is that you?", the former champ laughs out before struting back to her corner where she high-fives coach Mendes. "You little s###!", Ariel tries to get back onto her feet faster than she really ought to but she's up at seven and fires straight back at the charging Canadian which only earns her more head-hunting trouble and leaves her sagging on the ropes at the bell. There wasn't enough time for the Lioness Alpha to get the job done but she's got the other girl right where she wants her according to Erin Andrews in the booth.

Round 4:
"Don't mess this up now, Jess!", coach Mendes sends the Alpha cat on what she hopes will be the final prowl tonight but Ariel's one determined lass herself and she doesn't check out of another gruesome close range tangle. Jessica works upstairs in order to club the pretty face into a pulp as if she wanted to escape the JMD excuse when she takes a Front Street member down but Ariel doesn't care whether this fight should be regarded as "kosher" by any standards. Not in the heat of the battle anyway. Both girls dish out heavy punishment and it's impressive to see the kid regain her mojo so quickly after getting knocked down; she clips Lowndes' chin several times and the stubborn stance seems to affect the Canadian more as she loses her precision and doesn't switch back to the body often enough. Ariel finds the biggest punch of the exchange when she wobbles her foe with a right hook on the temple but then digs deep into the open cleavage and signs off the push with a quick uppercut that finally hoofs the guard aside. Lowndes tries to launch immediate response but Winter beats her to the punch and NAILS with a wild left hook on the nose that DROPS THE LIONESS ALPHA on her side!!! Did you see that? Coach Park definitely did and makes a throat-slit gesture at Eva Mendes' expense and the decked brunette is the one who can't believe it! Ariel yells out over her which actually gives Jessica extra time to recover but one can excuse the kid getting excited! The ex-champ is back on her feet at seven and for once hits pause with only few seconds left on the clock. Ariel weaves around with her gloves down and says there's more to come really soon. But the crowd is on their feet already and Erin Andrews can't wait to see what happens next.

Round 5:
The Front Street kid smells blood and drives for the biggest win of her career now however Jessica escapes the initial tangle and drags the smaller brunette into a lenghty pursuit which Ariel can't quite master at this stage. It doesn't appear that Lowndes has suffered outright physical damage even though she allows Winter to hassle her around the ring to win the artistic value. And Ariel gets really annoyed over those single punches only grazing the flesh but she gets clipped with a couple of counter-strikes from behind the guard and Lowndes harpoons her to the liver to finally tame the fellow brunette's attack. The mid-range stance favors the Canadian here and Winter gets a little careless in trying to find that jug connection again which leads into another quick hook bursting through her high guard in the dying seconds.

Round 6:
More flyweight brawling ensues here in the sixth and while Ariel connects with the jugs again, she gets picked off over the top and finds the Lowndes attacks too accurate to deal with on the long run. The Lioness Alpha drops the jug muggin' idea and rocks the younger brunette straight up to nail her on the chin with Winter's guard wilting under pressure and sending the kid into defensive circles which proves to be her undoing when she stumbles back to the ropes and has the ex-champ crashing through her mitts again. Ugh! Lowndes works the jab to set up a hooking blast and finds the youngster's temple repeatedly which leaves Winter caved in on the ropes for remainder of the round. She looked very good while enforcing her presence before but Grace Park needs to fuel that fire again since nobody expected Lowndes to fall apart following that knockdown like your everyday Asylum PPV free agent.

Round 7:
Ariel finds more success punching to the Canadian's ribcage early in the seventh and she really ought to dominate the close range tussle but she's never been past the sixth during her Front Street tenure and runs out of gas while Lowndes grinds through the youngster's attack. The ex-champ splits the mitts in a spirited response and nicks in on the jugs too before blasting Winter across the lips and wobbling her back onto the ropes. Ariel just doesn't want to back off but gets beaten for another quick overhand and Jessica camps inside her cleavage when she bursts through from point-blank range with her opponent moaning in pain. Ugh! Winter eats another hook on the temple and gets rattled on the ropes but doesn't have the strenght to punch Lowndes back to center of the ring and loses a hectic exchange in the final seconds with her lips swelling badly at the bell and Lowndes barging her in the tits before turning back to her corner.

Round 8:
Ariel doesn't have the stamina to escape a head-hunting rush and gets picked off during the initial tangle but she looked even worse while trying to survive on defense so she lets it rip regardless of the circumstances and while she tags Jessica on the temple, she eats immediate follow up in right-on-right fashion that bursts her lips into more misery. Ugh! She bends to the side with a whimper and Erin Andrews doesn't need another proof who actually punches harder now... Jessica flies in with a quick uppercut on the chin before Winter can gather her thoughts and whips the kid on her heels. Another hook from the left crashes onto Ariel's nose and the youngster cries out her loudest while tripping back onto the ropes... she doesn't have time to react for the incoming punch and Lowndes yells out while she delivers the hammer... SHE CATCHES WINTER CLEAN ON THE JAW and the gumshield comes flying out!!! ARIEL GOES SLEEPING WITH THE MERMAIDS even before she crashes face down on the boards and the ref waves it off once she notices the poor kid doesn't even flinch down there. KO8 Jessica Lowndes!!!

AFTER: Coach Grace Park jumps into the ring to attend the fallen youngster while Jessica gloats over the fallen prey: "Didn't see that comin', huh? That ought to shut you up for a while!". She struts back to coach Mendes whose smile is even bigger than the victorious girl in the ring. That *kinda* evens the score with coach Park even though other heroines are starring in the main picture these days. And Winter still has several years advantage over Lowndes which bodes well for the future. However she didn't quite have the stamina to embrace Lowndes high-octane demeanour past the sixth round when it all went downhill for the California native. The knockdown seemed to swing the momentum into Winter's favor immediately after she got decked in the previous round herself but the Canadian stunner has fought far tougher opposition during her career and one big rally from a promising upstart couldn't break down her resilience by any means.

The other story of the night remains the extended jug muggin' plan enforced by both girls and post-fight numbers indicate Winter was actually in control of these rallies. When Front Street brass mentions the Queendom JMDD offer even Erin Andrews must wonder what's exactly cooking in that household. Alas tonight's defeat probably rules Winter out of these rumours for a while. The fact remains both she and coach Park sold the LCA camp a dummy and were really close to beating Lowndes with her best weapon at one point. So close but no cigar...

Final result: Jessica Lowndes def. Ariel Winter KO8.
