BEFORE:

"When my people told me about this opportunity," Katherine says with a smile, "I couldn't WAIT to sign. It's about time I get involved in the FCBA, and, what better way to do that than to break Hunter King's winning streak?"

"You know," says Hunter with a smile of her own, "There are more than thirteen reasons why Katherine isn't going to win tonight. A LOT more than thirteen."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Into The Black' by The Chromatics, and here comes the star of Netflix's '13 Reasons Why', Aussie beauty Katherine Langford!"

McCarthy: "And, HERE'S a surprise, she doesn't have a SINGLE FCBA win!"

Tess: "Of course, as Katherine indicated in the pre-fight, this is her FCBA DEBUT, so it would be impossible for her to have a win..."

McCarthy: "Well, I HAD FCBA wins before my debut."

Tess: "See, I don't think you DID..."

McCarthy: "I absolutely DID and you can look it up!"

Cassie: "So, the question here is, did the bleach and the silicone finally turn what's left of Mac's brain to mush or does she not know what 'debut' means..."

McCarthy: "Shut up, BOTH of you!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Ms. Langford climbs into the ring to be helped off with the robe. She's looking quite fetching in that tangerine number. And, that's 'Shake It Out' by Florence and the Machine you hear behind us, and that can only mean that 'The Ventura County Volcano', Hunter King, is on her way to the ring..."

McCarthy: "And, if Langford is a typical Dancing Hooker opponent, KING is a typical Dancing Hooker..."

Cassie: "I want to revisit this 'debut' thing..."

Tess: "Do you want to break YouTube?"

Cassie: "We can give it a try..."

O'Dell(sighing): "Let's concentrate on the ring, where Hunter is being helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that navy blue number we've seen before, and the crowd appreciate's it, no doubt about that. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess favors Hunter. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Typical Dancing Hooker opponent. King."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "The ladies are unanimous, let's see if they're right. Not going to be any feeling out in this one, as blonde and brunette are after one another right away and a NICE RIGHT HAND FROM LANGFORD and that shook King! And Katherine going all in in the first thirty seconds..."

Cassie: "Aussie doesn't have a thing to lose. Might as well go after it."

O'Dell: "And, that's exactly what she's doing. She backs King into the ropes and lets the hands go. Hunter covering up, rolling with punches. And, there are PLENTY of punches to roll with as the brunette gets off lusty. Hunter jabbing back in spots, but mostly staying on the defensive..."

Tess: "Give Katherine credit. She's not getting sloppy or wild. She's very sound, setting up her punches."

O'Dell: "Not something you often see from a 22-year-old making her FCBA debut, but you're seeing it here. Langford working King over, piling up points. Hunter clearly looking to run some clock here, and she's getting that done. Ten seconds to go in the round. One more flurry from the Aussie and there's the bell. Katherine wide in the first."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Langford looking to press the advantage as we start the second, but King holding ground, banging back, and we've got a firefight in the middle of the ring! Brunette not backing up or backing down and the blonde determined to make her do so and they are trading BOMBS in there!"

McCarthy: "All about imposing will right now, and we're going to see who can do it."

O'Dell: "Right now, nobody can, because every hard shot that lands is answered by one just as hard. This is absolute hammer and tongs in there right now, as sweat flies and heavy leather lands. This can't keep up much longer without somebody kissing some canvas I wouldn't think..."

Cassie: "Nobody hurt yet, but everybody's got everybody's attention, that's for sure."

O'Dell: "Final thirty seconds of the round and nobody's slowing down. BIG right hand from Langford and King answers with one of her own, backed Katherine up a step, but the Aussie steps right back to and fires back. ANOTHER exchange of hard shot and there's the bell. What a round! Close, to King."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third begins the way the second ended, with the two young bantams trading hard shot in the middle of the ring. Neither willing to back up a step. GOOD right hand Langford and KING HURT HER WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Katherine staggered by an absolutely NASTY punch from the blonde..."

Cassie: "Landed that one on the button, that's for sure!"

O'Dell: "And, King now pouring forward, hammering away with both hands. Langford backing and covering, trying to slow the blonde down, but having zero success doing that. King forces the Aussie into the ropes and ROCKS her with a right hand! Referee looking in closely as King gets off lusty..."

Tess: "And, he's not going to look much longer."

O'Dell: "Langford in a high guard, jabbing back here and there, trying to keep the referee at bay while she picks off and rolls with as much of the offense Hunter's throwing at her as she can. We're into the final twenty seconds. King a good left hook. That shook Langford. Hunter goes body now. Katherine clinching. And, there's the bell. King. Wide."

McCarthy: "And, the blonde's up 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "King going to press the issue in a big way now. Hunter stepping to, backing up the brunette with some hard shot. Langford trying to hold canvas, fire back, but can't get it done, doesn't have the legs. Blonde just all OVER Katherine right now. Aussie just getting HAMMERED..."

McCarthy: "Referee not going to stand for much more of this. Langford has to get some offense going."

O'Dell: "Not happening at the moment. Too much Hunter King. Blonde just THUMPING Katherine, going body now, trying to bring down the guard. Langford clinching again, trying to slow this down some, but King punches free and DROPS HER! Down goes Langford on a left hook!"

Cassie: "Short and on the button."

O'Dell: "And Langford just ragdolled to her back. King to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Brunette's eyes closed tightly, no movement at all. Six. Seven. Eight. Not going to happen for the Aussie. Nine. TEN! It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is 'The Ventura County Volcano', Hunter King!"

Tess: "Not a great start for King, but a heck of a finish."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I've got our winner, Hunter King, and, not a lot of finesse involved tonight..."

Hunter (shaking her head): "She wanted to get physical with me, and you just aren't going to do that, Tess. If you want to stand in there and trade, well, you're going to come off second best."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Hunter: "Just want to stay active, keep working and learning, and I'm sure management's going to make that happen."
