BEFORE: Eiza Gonzalez's reponsible for guarding stablemate Adriana Lima's Ice Hotel status but she couldn't stop Anllela Sagra earlier this year so the question remains whether she can stop Sports Illustrated/Victoria's Secret icon Lily Aldridge here tonight? Hot-blooded Hispanic vixens are always in demand and Eiza has enough tools to headline any Main Event around the league but Erin Andrews believes she's a little underrated by her peers. Lily doesn't share that opinion and claims Eiza is a genuine gatekeeper; this strictly-business approach bodes well for the American's chances to move up the food chain. She fell to Adriana Lima on last year's "War In Heaven" event but remains in "trust the proccess" mood that should elevate her into serious divisional contention before too long.

Round 1:
Eiza's short fuse becomes the driving force behind some feisty punches that put Lily's high guard under immediate pressure and the lingerie model simply struggles to embrace the Mexican heat here in the heart of Monterrey that allows the local girl to cash in with tremendous force. Ugh! Eiza literally barks in anger seconds into the fight and knocks Lily's ponytail around her neck while reeling her onto her heels amid this relentless early attack. Lily tries to use her allegedly superior footwork into her advantage but Eiza has that covered as she bashes her onto the ropes and keeps digging her mitts into the exposed ribcage now that Aldridge disappears behind a tight earmuff. It's a one-woman show here in the opening round though and O&E coach Kelly Carlson can afford herself a shot of tequila already!

Round 2:
Lily's very much up against it on hostile territory but she's signed up for this guest appearance and now has to soak up the beef. She engages in a feisty jabbing exchange and actually outworks the otherwise arrogant Gonzalez who dropped her gloves way too low and couldn't stay out of the striking range when her mobility got exposed. Aldridge sends in the hooking jam to knock the Mexican babe around before belting her across the ribcage to set up a quick uppercut pounce that leaves the younger brunette yelping in discomfort. The crowd doesn't like it but Lily drives the local heroine straight onto the ropes where she dissects her low guard and thumps several nasty punches into the toned abs section. Ugh! Eiza issues the California girl a lesson in Spanish at the bell but that makes little difference on the cards.

Round 3:
Another hectic mid-range dispute results in more crisp punches flying around Monterrey but it's Eiza's turn to cash in with the juice as she splits Lily's mitts and settles into a classic head-hunting pursuit. The swimsuit model fails to brawl herself out of trouble and has to channel her superior mobility again alas she still soaks up plethora of single punches as the partisan support keeps Gonzalez on the front side. The execution drops as time passes by however Lily's counter-punching effort is even less inspiring and both women finally settle down into tactical circles when it becomes clear neither will gain an advantage here.

Round 4:
Lily has to live with the aggressive manners of her opponent but Eiza pays a price for missing the initial approach as she eats a crushing overhand on the jaw that wobbles her on the heels and allows the American to scythe her otherwise leaky guard thereafter. Eiza's footwork really struggles to adjust to the new stance and the proud Mexican gets glued to the spot with Lily pounding away in furious fashion to silence plenty of local supporters. It's all tearing Eiza's guard here in the fourth and she soon develops visible swelling under both eyes that makes coach Carlson lose her temper for the first time tonight. However Gonzalez just can't escape the heat and bellows out onto the ropes where Aldridge picks her off regardless and rallies to silence the Arena Monterrey come the final stretch. Ugh! A belting hook bends Eiza into spasms right at the bell and that was just ugly piece of work from the local stunner here.

Round 5:
Lily tries to steal the momentum for keeps and jumps at the somewhat sluggish opponent who doesn't seem all well after that tough previous round. However the high guard withstands the early push and Lily gets dragged into a clinching stalemate instead which the ref somehow completely ignores until the audience's jeering reaction finally terminates. Eiza has been given a wake-up call with another belting hook on the ribs and beats the older brunette for a quick overhand even though the action remains erratic down the stretch. Both women send plenty of punches but only single digs connect and fail to make the difference anymore. That's actually good news for Gonzalez and the sour look on Lioness coach Eva Mendes' face probably confirms it as well.

Round 6:
Eiza has recovered to dominate the close range dispute but Lily doesn't want to back off anymore and lets it fly herself hoping to add to the fellow brunette's bruises. However she's outworked on the long run and genuinely stunned when Gonzalez lifts her boobs in a sudden target switch. She adds an uppercut double on the jaw and as Lily sinks on her knees, a downright brutal left hook tears a small cut over the brow ridge TO SEND ALDIRDGE DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE!!! Ugh! That was ultra-quick from the local heroine and even coach Carlson looks stunned. Lily got caught out with a haymaker of the Mexican sort but she battles bravely onto her feet at seven and refuses to yield real estate even when Gonzalez throws in the kitchen sink at her in the closing stages. She buries the California girl under a proper head-hunting barrage but suffers from the red mist approach and needs a lecture from coach Carlson during the break: "You ain't gonna deck Aldridge again with sheer numbers, it's precision that matters!" 

Round 7:
Lily doesn't look physically affected by the knockdown and she's quick to pounce on the Mexican; it's another back & forth exchange that does no good to these lumps inflicted before and Eiza's drilling effort makes it even worse for Aldridge now. However the older brunette refuses to back off and keeps plugging away until she's finally countered with a nasty uppercut on the jaw that halts her charge. She tries to stretch the range but trips back and Eiza has a free shot on the chin again followed by a hook on the boobs. Ugh! Lily's gloves drop low as she gurgles in discomfort but she's not fast enough anymore and gets CLUBBED with another haymaker on the nose. She goes all shimmy shake AND TUMBLES DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE again which results in a deafening roar from the Monterrey audience. And this time it's TOO MUCH!!! Whether it's the ugly cut above the eye or that sinking feeling she doesn't have it in her anymore, she drops flat on her back and gets counted OUT with her eyes closed. KO7 Eiza Gonzalez!!!

AFTER: Eiza couldn't handle Anllela Sagra but she finds redemption in an epic punchout of a Lioness menace and that feels GOOD!!! She launches another Spanish vocal tirade and parades around the fallen woman while Eva Mendes can only throw a wet towel at her in a sign of pure frustration. Meanwhile Kelly Carlson calls for the tequila service already and Erin Andrews is more or less convinced this fiesta will go long into the night here. Like it or not, Eiza deserved her moment in the spotlight tonight while the Lioness entourage have to scratch this Mexican trip as a failure. However the elite mission is very much alive as the Victoria's Secret brand opens every door around FCBA regardless of the odd mishap or two.
